oh yeh ok.

for any text u can open 100x100 transparent image in ur AS. its better u open in PSP and then import in AS as u get to write in ur kool fonts. so once u open it write whatever u want then import.

ok theres two things. if u save it from PSP and open it in AS then u will get a white BG so its better to copy the image in PSP and paste and new animation in AS then n there. this will give u transparent BG.

then duplicate the frames of the image to the number of frames ur avi has. then select all. copy . then select the frames of ur avi. paste into slected frames. done. make the size of ur font small when u write.

2) to apply texture u will have to copy all the frames of the avi and import them to PSP. and apply textures on each n every frame one by one. and export back to AS.

It depends...are you talking about effects/layers and all? Or just plain textures? If you're only talking about a plain texture then you just have to duplicate it the same amount of times of your animation. However, if you're talking about layers/levels/brighteness etc then it does have to be done seperately...I know it sucks.....but I think you can do it in photoshop? I'm not sure.

Thank you so much:) Yeah I was talking about effective layers and all, I was thinking there might have been an easier way to do it other than copying each layer into PSP or photoshop and doing it one by one, but I guess theres not:( Ill try in photoshop..thanks for the help though:)

Another question:

Where can I get good icon frames for animated avatars..something like this:

Hey I also use PSP and animation shop and wanted to know how to add textures,brushes and text to make the avis look good.Tried in PSP forums but that was too technical for me.Got help from SAMPARI(thanks once again hon!)as to how to do it and here is the method.

Open PSP
Open a transparent layer,the same size as your avi.
Add texture to it and click Properties and set the opacity to 20 or thereabouts and don't merge
Copy it and paste it into AS
Duplicate to the number of avi frames
Copy it and paste it on the avi and you can see the texture.

As for the frames you mentioned.I guess you have to open a 100*300 transparent image,paste frames or frames brushes and copy it and paste it over the animation as above.

I haven't reached that far.

But you can try and see how it works.

im facing a problem while making animations in Photoshop-i use CS3...
i am not able to apply to textures or the couloring effects like lighten etc on my animation..why is that?
please giude me

Thanks ALL for answering...

I was here to ask regarding photo layers and stack image but I think I got it from previous queries and there answers.. It helped a lot, indeed. Will be back if have any problem regarding it..
