It was extremely dissapointing to see that a intelligent, and emphathetic doctor like Simiran compares her daughter with another person. Comparing any two individuals is certainly a NO --No. Each person has her own strengths, and weakness.

I think so too.

A lot of parents do it though. I believe it actually retards the youngster's development and free thinking if they are asked to adopt alien habits and idols, maybe even cause them to become rebellious. Sensible parents do the best they can to encourage kids to develop their innate skills so that they learn to compete with themselves, not with others - and set their own standards, not adopt others'.

I wonder how many parents would be able to take it if their kids started comparing them to other parents😕😕!!
