I attribute it to ego. Self pity is a form of ego to me. Simran's ego is taking a bashing and she does wants Abhi to come back to her, but she does not want to admit it. She wants Abhi to read her mind.

I have to say that I see it more on serials than real life. Usually to add some so-called drama and sometimes to drag the show!!!!

I have seen this in real life too, but from a different kind of personality. Simran's personality and this act don't go together. I guess to give that extra something, this is done.

Well just my thoughts.....I guess since she knew Abhi was already there she didn't mention him but wanted the doctors to get Astha, Saurabh, and Shaguna.

hmmm, i have also seen it in real life - all too often! ego is an interesting point...any other thoughts?
