Yes, he does overdo his old man act considering the fact that Abhi does not even represent an old man - he is only 45 for crying out loud! But then I would blame the director for showing him as a 60+ man when he is only 45. He looks 10 years older than Simran, not 10 years younger..

I agree with Coolie_no1, just watched RINH and today I really felt that Badola was indeed jumping like a monkey 😃

you cannot just pick one movie of varuns and say that he acted bad... 😃 i am sure this is his first movie experience and hey lets face it its tough to compete in the movie world... you dont get tailored roles when you start out.. unless you have a godfather in the industry.. give him some time..😃 Even SRK (Shah Rukh) had many bad roles to his credit that does not mean he is a bad actor..

why dont you tell us who according to you is the best actor in astitva or for that matter any other serial?

i think someone is trying to tell u not to kid yourself that u r "al pacino", and that u will never be nickolson....but lets leave it old bean....if u think varun is a bad actor, then that's fine by me...u r absolutely entitled to your opinion, and i respect that....i haven't seen the film u mentioned, but do want to...in general, i think badola is a good respectable tv actor (i haven;t seen him on film)....but that's just imho - no doubt u will be able to respect that? 😛

i will add tho, that he doesn't compare to al pacino or nicholson, altho he can compare well with the chap that plays saurabh in astitva, and if u remember, i always thot that old bean wawahehe compared well with saurabh as well 😉😆
