not that i am complaining...but i feel that how does it matter what a junior character in a TV series looks like? They are filling in the gaps, they probably get paid way less for their cameos then lead actors/actresses, so it makes sense that they are not the best of the lot anyways. I can in a sense, understand why these people are willing to do whatever it takes to get on TV - wear rings, tattoos, weird haircuts, etc. Most of them are probably anywhere between 25 and 35 and dont have a regular job in any TV series...they couldnt have been that good to begin with! If i remember right, even Nikki Aneja got into the whole serial game a little late in life. Alok Nath (as mentioned in another thread) is stuck with playing elderly roles only eventhough he is not that much older than Nikki Aneja. So it makes sense that junior artistes like Yash character do what it takes to get into the streamline.
As far as the question about how come the director is always showing retards coming in from the US and Canada is concerned, he is missing out on so many details - i know some weird ABCD (american-born confused desi) kids that do dress like that - tattoos, rings, etc. but there are also some lost american kids who do the same thing. The point of interest is that these people would NEVER move to India unless they joined the 'hare rama hare krishna' movement - as described to me by a misguided kid here. So it is the consistency in the 'moving to india' taht is the problem here. I personally get creeped out by some of these piercings, but my philosophy is 'live and let live' - if the kids feel that they are "cool" because they do this, and they are not my kids, i dont care...it is of concern though that in the real world, these kids are never going to get good jobs, and these mistakes are going to haunt them for life!
O man...i blabbered on again... 😃
Very well said! 👍🏼
I don't have anything against the artiste playing Yash, though I feel pity on Sinha's imagination!
