Simran is being so selfish. She always thinks of one daughter at a time. When she found Sia, Aastha was neglected. Now Sia is being neglected. How could she even consider suicide, knowing how much Sia needs her mother, blind or not?

here is my prediction:
Dr. Sakshi saves Simran just when she is about to fall. Simran thanks her and they talk for a while. Sakshi recognizes Simran and Simran tells her she needs someone to manage her hospital. Sakshi gets Simran home and everyone thanks her. She takes over the charge.

very sad episode but this is the reality of life.
Selfmade person does not want to be a burden on
anyone. Any how serial will not go on without Simron.
Simron will be saved and she will come back.
Under the "Netra Dan" she may get eyes back.
thanks for the update.

Thanks Sree,

I hope the storyline will change after such a great loss of Astha, as for Sia there is no need for her to change her name as previosly Abhi was telling Simran that, SIA means " SIMRAN AND ABHI ". Astha no doubt she is a trouble maker but she is very lovable and stubborn teenager who create a lively atmosphere within the family members. The character of Astha n Sia is totally different so whats the point of changing her name!

Hope no more sadness in Dr. Simran life please.....

Sakinah, your point is so valid. It is ridiculous to think Sia can slip into Astha's role in Simran's life. That is as if Simran cares nothing for Sia and only cares for Astha. Ridiculous.

The suicide scene was totally unnecessary. When strong people face challenges they don't crumple down and collapse - their reaction in challenging situations is what sets them apart from everyday ordinary people.

Sakinah,i agree about the name changing part, which is really not necessary!

But i would like to say something about Simran here, and it mite not be agreeable to all!Lets not forget that Simran is after all human! When she was all strong and standing like a pillar of support and never breaksdown, eveyrone was callign her a "super-woman,totally out of the normal person category, etc etc"and when finally she is potraying something very normal(yes, its totally normal!!!)everyone says she's 'weak, selfish, totally NOT expected,"etc etc!!!

I think its pretty normal for a normal human being who had been very independent and helping others, and never once required anyone's asisstance as such,to react this way!Suddenly,u lose something as important as ur sight,u not only feel handicapped,u feel helpless! If u lose an arm,or leg,u can still see where ur going, what ur doing, but this is sight for God's sake,u dnt even know when is night or day,the difference between male/female,flowers/thorns,u can't see what ur eating, where ur going, and your daily tasks which u wud have done in a minute, takes hours before either u do it,or getting someone else to do it!No matter how strong a person is,when so much has happened, like losing a daughter,AND losing your own sight,at one go,its totally ridiculous if that person DOESN't react at all!!I would say Ajai Sinha has done something very realistic to potray Simran in such a manner!I have seen many women in my life, who are very strong willed, and independent, and wud be a pillar of support to people around them, break down under circumstances!I wud not call them weak,i wud call them normal!

Yes,there are some points which is ridiculous, like Simran leaving and reaching the cliff ect,but thats pretty 'normal'in all Hindi soaps, and movies! So i have no comments on that one!😊

So lets not be too hard on Simran and all those strong willed and independent women out there, who are totally entitled to 'break down'once in awhile, although i do agree that suicide is not going to solve anything, and its an escapist route! But i guess when ur pain crosses all limits,ur mind wud not be able to think straight, therefore, escape is waht u wud think of!🤢

Cheers!

I can accept Simran's attempt to commit suicide because they are trying to show her frustration.I am not in favor of such an act but I can understand it.A person who has been fiercely independant can find it agonising to depend on others for every little thing.
(I know of a friend whose mother committed suicide by consuming insecticide when she went blind with her high diabetes.Even today my friend gets nightmares.)
But Simran reaching the cliff itself is very filmy.Couldn't they have shown some unsuccessful attempt at home?

As for Sia changing her name to Astha,I feel there is some reason which will be revealed in the episodes to come.If not, then it's quite unnecessary,I think.
Giving Gudiya,Astha's name was a different thing but this change I don't quite understand it.

Cheers and Thanks Sree!

Sree thanks for your update.

Mumtaz, I fully agree with your point of view; very well said. And CONGRATS for being one of the winners in the AKTING AKTING contest.

"Strong willed and independent women out there, who are totally entitled to 'break down' once in awhile". We cannot always be stoic in the face of adversity, and like Mumtaz said suicide is not a solution to any problem and is very wrong.
