aaah... according to popseoul he has tonsilitis... but i've been told not to believe everything popseoul says? 😕

yeah but both boys have been released, though gd's supposed to take over top's mc-ing duties over at mbc (i think) for a couple of days.

seung ri hurt his ankle while practicing for the golden disk awards performance. he rested until their concert, but on the second day the boy hurt himself again during the song "Pabo". he fainted, he said... and had to be rushed to the emergency room. but he's fine now.

i won't be able to go to soompi until tomorrow (stupid internet >.<) so i don't have the latest news... but this is as of yesterday 4 am central time... (pfft you KNOW you love me and my up-to-dateness!)XD

bah ok this post is cool and all but like..lesson one: bi? T_T
that's like telling a second grader you're gonna teach them the basics of
math and then explaining what a definite integral is >_O

lesson one should be like..the beginnings of K-Pop, the 90's :D It sorta
came around after the old smoky bar-type songs got old. H.O.T, seo taiji
and the boys, FinKL, G.O.D (ok they were barely in the '90s. but they're
considered old), S.E.S, and Kim Jong Guk (and Turbo) were like the leaders
of that generation. Then came like Shinhwa, FTTS and the rest of SM
town. YG started in like '98 or something (i just know GD was 10 xD).

and finally, the millenium hit. and along with it came the cookie-cutter
stars like DBSK, bi, suju, wonder girls, bigbang, etc. don't get me wrong, i
love them, but they're just puppets of the industry -_-

@priyaaa: i dont know about the whole 90's kpop and such but i have to agree with the cookie cutter part...as much as i love my asian backstreet boys they are very static in what the industry "wants" rather than individuality/origniality...i guess it might be hard to shy away from the every pressing idealistics of "similarity" in korea but nevertheless ur point is correct, they are puppets of the industry
