So he is the actor of the classes unlike masses. Suits him well. I have seen his whole bio. His drama choices seems to be more action oriented and as you said he can portray his abilities to the max.

Sure he hasn't done any romcom which is the most popular genre in SK. I am sure if it were for Hollywood he would have his own fast and furious kind of franchise . He even doesn't do films after a few. He clearly is a film actor.

I read something about him being blacklisted for the amount of years in which he chose best what offered for him. It feels such a waste of so much talent.

About GY and LDW I mean they are popular with new generation coz Goblin was raging hit. Coz of that I watched Bad and Crazy.

I hope LJKs next drama brings him more success.

LJK.. is the best thing that can ever happen to korean industry. and if you want try his movies too. those are awesome... and youll love him more..... i cant say no to him except 2 dramas i can watch anything just for him.

@ red.. yes i myself was angry with him for his drama choices during that time... but when i got to know what he went thru instead of sitting i was happy he at least wasnt wasting his time and talent.

@bold Goblin gave GY n LDW's fame rebirth into the fandom.. that was the impact of it and both are still riding on it even now. It was one of THE GREATEST hit Kdrama after a long time. and if not for it both weren't having good time.

LDW got another drama Tale of 9 tailed.. which did okay... and GY is also doing good but Goblin has now their identity... and will remain until they get another hit.

Oh this some wholesome list. I have seen BOF and enjoyed but I can't seem to enjoy rest of LMH drama- after Goblin I gave a shot to Legend of the blue sea but I couldn't continue and it's sitting in my drive.

As I said after watching GY and LJK I don't know I find him lacking ( sorry if you are a fan)

DOTS I have heard a lot but do CLOY so it would be either one.

I even plan to watch Kill me heal me and healer it's just I need to move on from SHR which I am finding difficult now.

My only gripe is I treat a drama like a book and an experience it's hard to move on early and I watch only one at a time.

B- I feel you I am ready to watch even My Girl for him. By the way which drama are you referring to.

R- it's such a shame that he had to go through that. Seeing his contemporaries doing films, hit dramas but he didn't let anything get away and had most of what was offered. I hope now that it's over he does some high credential drama or movie. Is it too late now that he is nearing 40? I hope he gets something running hit like squid game ..

i am no LMH fan not even thru BoF and can crib/curse him all my life with no shame or guilt...so no worries abt.

CLOY is good but i couldnt watch it beyond first half n hour as not a fan of HB.

And the issue with all the breakthru dramas are... if the actor cant continue the work thats expected they will be back to basics... thats what for me happened with LMH..though many of my friends are still his fan but not despite watching all the shows he has done except few.

same is with JCW after Healer... Healer gave him uber popularity n fan following... but his drama choices after that ruined it all.... so watch Healer and enjoy it whole heartedly.. you'll never regret watching that show.

Reply series is my fav.. and i wont give any spoilers to ruin the fun.

@bold.. its normal... thats what i was during initial years of watching but as you get to more n more dramas.. you become greedy to watch more and more and also increases ur dropped drama list as you become conscious of knowing ur kind of dramas to drop whats not ur type.

and then SHR gave me existential crisis once finished and i couldnot move on for 2 months... so take ur time... and watch only the best dramas next one.

Oh you took 2 months to move on from SHR I can only imagine the impact, here me inspite of knowing the spoilers I ended up getting crushed.

So its initial effect of dramaland let's see how I process everything. Right now I am carefully treading between good reviewed choices. 😆

lol.. ill once any new drama of his comes.

for SHR... 2 months that too after investing my 36+ hours watching every episode twice (both local n international version).. then discussing abt it all the time, sacrificing my sleep...

it was such a memorable time of my life.

i am glad you have good reviews to get to the best ones... i had nothing but few of my fav oppas to hold me while i started my swim accorss kdramas.

and for LJK.. i am hoping the same that he should get a Netflix drama to reach wider audience to get that breakthru i am dreaming abt... hope it happens soon.
