Someone told me that Bo Gummy didn't end up with the FL so when I saw them, I was like woot woot, found the couple😆😆 but I gave up the ship pretty soon because Jung Haan never confessed amd Taek was more persistent and then came the kiss in Episode19, I liked that one, though hyeri looked a little awkward in the scene, I still like bo Gummy, I love that guy😳😆.

Proper explanation would have been wonderful but then let's just be satisfied with it and dream up our own because Reply 1988 sure hit me hard, there's something about a good show ending...it makes you happy, sad and leaves you with a withdrawal 😆

I also found the kiss awkward..Even when she said ILY..It was awkward!!! But when Taek said ILY..He was smiling so wide..You can feel his happiness!!!

Yes..Whatever..In the end the drama was good..Tho close to 2 hrs is very long!!! I don't have withdrawal..As I am starting Reply 1996 next..Last time I felt that way was for Secret Forest!!! After watching it..None of the dramas were interesting!!!

For some unknown reason the whole premise of the show calls to mind Scandinavian noir shows like The Bridge and Forbrildelsen aka as The Killing series, especially series1and 3. So if those were your cup of tea give this a try too and you might enjoy.

I lasted watched him in 'Investigation couple', he played a cop..his character a mix of action, romance, comedy, his fights are a no joke..So I wouldn't be surprised to watch him in an out and out serious series coz I believe he can pull it off..Since you mentioned "Bridge" I want to give it a try..It must be an electric plot 👍🏼

@Shaz: From the other thread it seemed you didn't watch "Legend of the Blue Sea"?! .. If not, you should give it a try! ... I kept postponing the show since I am not a big fan of the ML but FL is everything in the drama ... she makes it super fun! ... Do give it a try!

@Tris: Ah lucky you! I started the drama without watching the trailer. 😆 I don't like judging dramas based on trailers though. Sometimes trailers don't do them justice. 😆

@Prince: It's the opposite for me lol. I do think the story is progressing but at such a slow pace. The FL is finally starting to live her life the way she wants it. And the romance is progressing as well but the pace is slow af. 😆 I hate how every one in thinks they own the FL's life. Her mom and ex mom-in-law are annoying af.

There is progress in a sense ... but it's SLUGGISH .. Pace is so slow that there doesn't seem like any progress! ... Initially I didn't mind it since it gave a very "dreamy effect" like how they show it with their animated fairy-tale posters ... but now it's bugging me ... 😆...Like Poo mentioned this drama isn't for binge watching! ... One will drop it in few eps, some even on the very 1st one! .. 😆

I like ML but I don't see any chemistry between the two ... even their kissing scene didn't work for me ... I have hard time buying in their love story now ... I would rather see her with her ex-husband .. they have sizzling chemistry af .. 😆 ... but that would ruin the whole motive of the drama where they would end up in the ends of their monster-in-laws ... I don't want to none of the mothers to have an ounce of satisfaction ... such losers ... 😡 ...Even then I see so much chemistry between FL and her ex ... someone shoot them all and let these two find their "happily ever after ... <3 .. 😆

@Tris .. You wouldn't like this drama at all ... ML is like the Korean version of Indian FL .. poured with extra honey and sugar ... way too sweet .. even he isn't my cup of tea ... 😆

I think FL was shown as someone who always found lacking confidence when it came to guys .. she was always shown to have "inferiority complex" ... so all she needed was a guy to come up to her and tell her "he likes her" ... That's what Taek did and she went FLAT ... 😆 .. tho I wish there was more of a romantic build up between the two ... I think it started with the "kiss in 1989", some feelings were also shown when Taek picks her up and runs (one of the scenes) ... so she had started to incline herself towards him ... He muster the courage and came onto her ... and that's it .. That became the climax of their love story! ...

I was utterly pissed at Jung Pal ... the guy literally had so many chances to buck up the courage ... Tho initially I understand the hesitation since he was always shown a very "shy" guy who used to internalize his feelings ... and then when Taek mentioned him liking her, JP's hesitation touched the roof ... he backed off a lot ... he constantly went back and forth with his feelings ... still was very confused ... even after backing off he didn't back off completely until he saw "Taek and Deok-Sun" at the concert where he finally understood he has lost all his chances! ... His fake confession (but real for him) was a killer fosho! ... It was just too sad for him to say all that to end it with having joked about it .. :HeartBreak: ... 😭

And last episode was super disappointing ... didn't show two of the main leads in future and how they are sustaining ... wedding was such a waste when they should have spent more time on DS and Taek .. esp since their love story only started after ep 18 .. while the other two have had so many eps dedicated to theirs ... Reply 1997 and 1994 did better job with wrapping them up in the end .. esp 1994 ... that one had better ending showing all main characters in the end!

Yea for sure I wouldn't have been able to binge watch it. Good thing I'm keeping up with it weekly. I think I am still sticking to the show just because of the cast. Both the FL and ML are superstars so yeah. 😆

I guessed ths drama would b like this only, bt don't know what it is, mayb the extremely snail pace or there's nothing which is worth waiting for one week... I kinda forgot the plot development n lost interest eventually...😆

Oh my gosh me too! I love his smile! I'm so freaking jealous of his oh so perfect teeth! Like every time he smiles I just keep staring at his teeth. Like literally! I have such a weird obsession with his teeth lmao 😆😆

I have lost interest too but I'm sticking to it just because of the big names attached to the show. 😆
