My crazy friends got me into a korean singing group, It took them sometime, almost a year. One day I woke up and realized they are the best things I ever came upon. Atleast it feels that way. From there I started watching korean shows, like talk shows and variety shows. They are so funny, and creative. I wasn't used to that. Then I moved on to Asian movies. I watched more Asian movies in a month than I have watched hindi or english combined in past few years. (about 27 movies)
Finally I thought to myself why not try Asian Dramas, I heard they are pretty good. I just needed the time. I started on one and finished the whole show in 2 and a half days.
and that's how it all took place!😆😆 I am trying to use thos well. I started learning korean. Now I can read and write, carry on a casual..(really really simple Hi hello casual) coversation. How did you start?
@ henna:: UHHM UHHM Lee Min ho....<---- Mine. Stay away!

lolz.
YAY! Im not the only one who thinks this way!
I have been addicted to indian movies/dramas/music and all ever since i was ...uhh...born i guess? I could name every single movie that came out in 2000 till like 2006 that is.
Thanks to AZN dramas.
I guess, once you start watching AZN dramas, your standard gets higher. Andddd, the storylines, actors/actresses, OSTs are sooo much more fresher and sweeter. Even if the drama/movie ends unhappily, it leaves a nice memory.
Indian dramas and all, start off as sweet, and then it gets dragged and stretched out like a rollercoaster.
I quit watching indian programs since like 2007. Annnddd bengali dramas. Jeez, it felt as if i've opened a window, and a fresh whif of air came in. LOLz.
Well, can this pass off as a rant? Towards indian soaps?...lol.

Yes yes yes! so true. So far, I can think of three Indian title tracks that have a special place in my heart. But most east asian OSTs are brillant. They are usually very heart warming, and I am always finding myself downloading them no matter what.
And its very true, even though many endings are bittersweet, I always have a feeling of satisfaction. And I dont know but usually Asian dramas make me really nostalgic of the 90s. And I really love that, I feel the laidback calm feelings of the 90s.

Forreal!! 😃
The OSTs are soo amazing. Heck, who cares if i cant understand half the stuff they're saying, the feeling they put into the songs, and the beat/rhythm/and composition of the song also lets you know what the song is about. The best part is, like there could be this song that sounds very happy but the lyrics are sad, and when your in a mood to listen to happy music, you could just listen to the korean song and change the lyrics with your head. lolol. I do that alot. Unless, i surely know what the song means thanks to subtitles
Yeaaa, thats true about the 90s feeling they give off. Like, before this whole 2000 time period, i guess in my point of view, everything seemed more innocent, decent, family orientated, and just more individualistic. Nowadays, it just seems like everything might pass off as superficial, especially in the entertainment industry. 😕
