CHAPTER-22
Arjun was playing with her hairs thinking about something very deeply, noticing it Sakshi smirked.....he was brought out of his thoughts by slam of pillow on his face.....catching it he narrowed his eyes on her who is laughingly, escaping from her beatings... "Jaan yeh kya karrahi hoh?"
"Wahi joh deserved karte hai!" Saying she again started beating him.... Snatching it, he caught her hands pulling with force that she fell on to his chest, "abh batao mujhe maar kyu rahi hoh?"
"Kyunki aapne mere saath cheating kiya subah, bhai ke saath milkar!" She pouted crossing her arms.
Shaking his head at her antics, "jaruri tha Jaan..." Leaning forward he kissed on the place, "Abh theek hain?"
"Choti bachi samaj rakhe kya aap?" She pouted with cute glare.
"Abh harkate waise karenge toh treat bhi Aise hih karnege na!" Arjun smirked nonethless he pulled her near wrapping arms around her waist.
"Waise tere office ka kaam kaha tak paunchi?" He asked.
"Kaha Arjun do din se time hih nahi milrahi.... RR jane ka ...aaj shayam ko jana hain!" Sakshi replied placing her head on his chest... "Mujhe bahut neendh arrahi..." in drowsy voice.
He made sleep properly on the bed, but sleep was very far from his eyes. Taking her laptop, he opened the required files along with the case report which was incomplete.... "Yeh ladki bina...itna documents open karke rakhi ki ek crash hoga toh pura ka pura crash hotha...." He saved all files and left the case report...reading it, he started typing about case details...
At evening she was ready to go to RR, "Suno... Woh case ka report!"
"Mei puri karke bhejunga Arjun....raat tak...." She said setting her hair.
"Areh woh nahi..."
"Arjun...pata hain aap duty ko lekar serious hai aur mei bhi, raat tak bhejungi... Abh mera boss Akdu ka taane nahi sunna mujhe.." she replied without listening what he was saying.
Fed-up he turned around, "Ar.." but keeping finger on her lips... "Chup...tabse batani ki koshish karraha huh ..aur tum hoh ki apne bakbak se fursat hih nahi milti..."
"Mei yeh kehraha tha...ki woh report meine banaliya, ek baar dekhe mail kardo.....mujhe send karne ki jarurat nahi!" Arjun said.
Noticing that she is not saying anything, "Abh kuch bolegi bhi!" Sakshi indicated his finger, removing it he raised his eyebrow,.. Sakshi hugging him tightly, "Thankyou patidev!"
Wraping his arm around her, " Akdu se patidev...waah!" He teased her inhaling her fresh lavender scent.
Kissing her cheek, "abh jao... Raat ko ghar per hih rukhjao...yaha itni dur aneki jarurat nahi...kal subah office mei milte hai!" He instructed as it would become late once they sit on project.
Sakshi nodding at him left.... Coming to RR, she assured her mother's and directly went to conference room, where her father's were already waiting for her....greeting them, she started working. Only few people know about her involvement, which were RR trusted individuals.
Next-day morning, she got late to come to office, but the team got other case.
"Sir, abhitak Sakshi nahi ayi..." Ayesha said as they were about to go to crime scene.
Arjun turning, "kya sakshi ke bina hum kaam nahi karsakthe Ayesha?"
"Mera matlab woh nahi tha sir! Agar woh office ayegi aur hum nahi hain toh..aur akeli waha kaise ayegi?" Ayesha asked sensing Arjun mood is not good. Why not he said her to be in time, but still she didn't came.
"Msg kardo....woh kaise ayegi yeh uski problem hain!" Saying Arjun went from there.
Arjun, Shree, Riya in one Suv, in other Sameer, Ayesha, Chotu as Liza already went to crime scene.
Here Sakshi was busy getting ready, "Sakshi.... aaj toh Arjun ki daanth se koi nahi bacha sakthe... dekho kitna late hogai!" as she was busy with the file all night and didnot sleep and when she closed her eyes it's almost 4 in the morning.
Running down, she met Kabir who came there, "Jiju time nahi hain apse baat karne ka...bahut late hogai mei!"
Kabir chuckled seeing her hurry, "Acha chal drop karta huh mei!"
She nodded, and both started to ETF, but as she got msg, "Jiju... ETF nahi east goregaon!"
"Sakshi... Mujhe late hogi..." Kabir said as the place is opposite to his hospital.
"Please jiju... Mere liye itna nahi karsakthi...kya aap ek chotisi jaan ko uss Akdu ke samne akele chodenge?" Sakshi pouted giving puppy eyes.
"Bas drama ki jarurat nahi.... Aur ek baat bata, agar tujhpe gusse karenge bhi... Wapas wahi manate haina... Aaj tak tujhe usse manate nahi dekha meine jabki galti sari teri hoti!" Kabir asked taking u turn.
Sakshi giggled, "Kyunki woh mujhse bahut pyaar karthe..."
He drove her to crime location. The team who were getting clues. A woman who was coming from gym was killed on the spot. Arjun was looking around when a familiar car caught his sight. Sakshi getting down, "Bye jiju.... " Kabir smiled going from there.
Sakshi turning around got face to face with Arjun who had his arms crossed, giving his patented glare.
Gulping at him, "Gudmrng Arjun!"
"Time kya hai, Sakshi?"
"Abh watch apke haath pe hain toh mujhe kaise pata hoga time kya horaha hai!" Sakshi replied though she knew why he asked her the question.
"Laparwah ki hadh hoti Sakshi! Itna late kyu ayi hoh?" Arjun asked her... But his eyes softened immediately seeing her tired face.
"Raat bar soyi nahi?"
"Nahi... Subah meri ankh laggai aur jab uthi bahut late hochuki!" Sakshi replied, at the same time Shree came... Seeing them both he shook his head, "jab aapko itni jaldi shanth hona hih hai toh gussa kyu karthe hoh?"
Arjun glared at him, "Kisine teri advice mangha... Nahi na... Toh kyu taagh adate hoh!"
Rolling his eyes, "mei kaha tangh adane agai... Mei toh yeh kehne aya ki uss aurat ki pati aachuke, aap puch tach karne chahte na sir?" He asked gritting his teeth.
Sakshi smile at his bickering caught his hand, " chalo.... Abh!" and dragged shree from there while Arjun went to talk with the person who was being interrogated by Sameer.
Here, Sakshi knocking his head, "Tu na ek din Arjun ke haath se sabke samne maar kayegha... Agar aise hih usse chidathe rehogi toh!"
Shree kept his tongue, "lekin bhai ko tangh karne mei bahut maza atha hai!"
"Maze ke bache... Chup...chalo kaam karthe hain!" Sakshi said shaking her head.
Though no one saw their interaction except Riya, even she didnot listen to their voice.... Looking at Sakshi, "Arjun sir kitne gusse mei tey toh aisa kya kaha yeh ki unke gusse gayab hogai... Kahi Arjun sir sakshi ke liye kuch feel toh nahi karrahe?"
But as Ayesha called her, she left the thoughts again... Coming back to office, they all involved in details. Here Riya was irritated with the closeness of Arakshi and also with Shree and chotu.... Sakshi unaware of it, started playing with her bangles making noise...
Though Arjun didnot say anything as he love the sound of her bangles and also knowing what she is doing.
But team was getting distracted, Shree causally.. "Sakshi... Bandh karo apne bangles se khelna, mujhe disturb horahi."
But Sakshi with naughty thought stopped the noise giving a smile.... But Arjun saw she was upto something, and his guess was right. Sakshi silently, going to Shree...who was busy in the laptop. This was observed by the team silently.
Keeping her hands near his ears she made loud noises, that Shree jumped "uii.. maa!" Keeping hand on his heart... removing it he glared at her, while team were laughing at his reaction. Even Arjun, Sameer had small smile on their faces. "Marwana hai kya mujhe?" He glared at her who was having naughty smile.
All stopped when Riya stood scolding her, "Yeh kya bachon ke harkhat hain Sakshi!"
Sakshi frowned, "Riya... Tumhe kya huwa? Mei todi na tumhe disturb kiya!"
"Tum keval Shree ko nahi pure team ko disturb karrahi hoh.... Jab tumse seriously kaam nahi karna atha toh mat karo... Lekin joh karrahe unhe toh disturb mat karo... Aur yeh kya itne bangles pehne ki jaruart kya hain, hum ETF mei kaam karthe koi event organisation mei nahi! Tumhari woh bangles se bahut disturbance horahi humhe... Nikhalthe kyu nahi?" She said but stopped when everyone were looking at her wierdly.
Sakshi looked at her, as she noticed the change in her after pooja... But didnot say anything, but now she couldn't keep quiet... "Riya..... problem kya hai tumhari .. meri har kaam pe galti nikhal rahe hoh... Mujhse senior hoh issliye uska lihaas karraha huh... Mujhe majboor mat karo apni asli jagah dikhane mei! Aur ek baat, agar kaam pe itna hih focus hai toh uspar focus karo... Mei kya karraha huh uspe nahi, jitna Tum iss team ke hisse hoh mei bhi utna hih huh... Meri personal life mei dakal andazi mat karo!" Sakshi fired as she got to know about someone from ETF main team trying to access her information, but for time being she kept quiet not to make her family worry and angry.
Sam-jun looked at eachother, as it is going out of hands ... Arjun standing from his place, "Bas... Ek word nahi tumdono se... ETF ya fish market samajke ladh rahe hoh tumdon... Mujhe iss baat pe koi behaas nahi chahiye..."
Sakshi nodding took her place, but she started removing her bangles which shocked everyone..... Shree noticing her actions, realised it was the same bangles he brought for her fewdays before, understood why she was irritating him...kept his hand, "Sakshi ..kyu nikhal rahe hoh rehne dho!"
But Sakshi was adamant, "Nahi Shree... Meri wajah se kisiko disturbance hona mujhe acha nahi lagta." Saying she was about to remove but one more hand stopped her, realising it Sakshi lifted her eyes at him. Arjun noticed water in her eyes, "Sakshi... Tumhe yeh nikhalne ki jarurat nahi!" This shocked Riya and team very much.
And looking at Riya, "Aur Riya... Yeh office hain, lekin iskamatlab yeh nahi ki koi chudi nahi pehen sakthe.... Mei aur Rathod tumsab ko apne according rahne ki freedom diye... Toh sakshi ko bhi wahi milegi... Woh kya pehne, kya nahi usse tumhe ya team me kisiko bhi matlab nahi hona chahiye .. samje yaa samjaov!"
Riya nodded sadly with his scoldings... Leaving the topic they again got involved in case.
At eveng, except Sakshi all other sat enjoying the coffee. "Riya kya jarurat thi Sakshi par chillane ki..." Ayesha asked as she felt she was wrong, which brought others attention.
"Aur mei kuch din se notice bhi karrahi huh tum usse bahut differently behave karrahi ho!" Liza said, "kuch huwa kya tumdono ke beech.."
Riya keeping her cup down, "kuch nahi... Mei bas woh kaha joh sach tha... Lekin Arjun sir ko woh galat lagi."
"Tumlogone nahi dekha woh kabhi koi bhi baat serious nahi leti har wakht mazak!"
"Iska matlab yeh nahi ki woh serious nahi hain Ri..." Shree countered angrily.
Looking at him, "Haa... Tumhe toh woh sahi hih lagegi na... Harwakht uske saath masti mazak joh karthe hoh... Mei tumhara bestfriend huh na... Toh batao aajkal tum humsab se time spend karne bahar kyu nahi arrahe hoh!"
Shree looking at her, remembered how his brother put a stop to his late night outings.... "Aisa kuch nahi.... Aur ek baat Sakshi se iska koi lena dena bhi nahi hain... Uska kaam keval report likhna aur public tak paunchna hain lekin phir bhi woh humhe information ikata karne mei madad karthi, toh tumhe usspar aisa chilane ki kya jarurat thi!"
Along with her, Liza frowned with his defending of Sakshi. Ayesha analyzing her, "Riya tum yeh sab issliye karrahi kyunki tujhe lagta hai ki Arjun sir, sakshi ki karib jaaraha hai... Haina?"
Riya looking at her nodded, which made the the other two understand her jealousy... except Shree. He was not liking where the conversation was going, and his most worry was if sakshi listens it would hurt her. The girls glanced at eachother, they both saw how Arjun looks at her....
Chotu eating his burger, "Areh..Ri! Aisa kuch nahi hoga... Haa Sakshi achi nahi......bahut achi lagti... Lekin Arjun sir aur woh, mujhe nahi lagta ... "
They were discussing about Riya feelings, comparing them with sakshi ... which were irriating Shree somuch, closing the laptop angrily, "Bas... Kya bakwas baate lekar beithe tumlog....."
"Shree... Tumhe kyu itni takleef horaha hain, yeh koi nai baat nahi na... Humsab jante hain Riya Arjun sir se kitna pyaar karthi hain!" Chotu sked him.
"Aur meine bhi kaha... Bhuljao yeh pyaar vyaar kyunki akhir mei usse dard ke alawa kuch milegi nahi, Arjun sir kisise pyaar nahi karthe siwai unke patni se!" Shree said going from there.
He was coming out angrily but stood shocked seeing her... "Sakshi!" A gasp escaped from him.
Here sakshi listened everything, which broke her heart. But knowing they are in office she controlled her emotions giving a blank look, "Arjun, tumlogon ko bhularahe hain!'
Otherside, Samjun were talking silently, "Arjun, subah joh huwa!"
"Theek nahi huwa, Sakshi kuch bhi bardash karegi lekin koi uski rishton par ungli uthaye bilkul shanth nahi rahegi!" Arjun completed his sentence.
"Haa... Bale hih woh nahi kehti lekin apne pati ke liye dusri ladki ki feelings dekhkar usse hurt hoti!!"
In midst of their talkings Sakshi entered taking place far from Arjun, her heart breaking into million pieces. This made the other two frown. Before they could ask Shree entered completely avoiding the two he sat beside her giving a sympathy look. Soon others entered, and took their seats.
Riya happily took place beside Arjun, which he royally ignored as his concentration was on her who was unusually silent.
"Sakshi... Case ki report kaha hai?" Sameer asked, but Sakshi was in her world, didnot hear. When Shree nudged her, she asked, "Kya?"
"Sakshi... Report!" Arjun said to which she nodded handing to Sameer.
Later, Shree dragged her to staircase where it is empty, "Sakshi... Kuch bolegi bhi... ki aise hih apna dard ander chupani ki irada hai?"
"Kya bolna hai!" Sakshi asked avoiding to look at him.
"Bano mat... Tunhe woh sab sunli haina...par bhabhi duniya kya sochti isse kya farak padega... Hain toh tum hih hoh bhai ke pyaar.. tum hih toh hain joh apne mathe pe unke naam ke sindoor aur gale mei mangalsutr pehen te hain..." Shree said pointing her forehead.
"Par yeh kaun janta hai Shree, duniya yahi Samajthi ki di... Unki patni hain, uss hadse ke baad, sab ko laga di unki patni hain, aur humne bhi yeh baat feilane se nahi rokha....kyunki Arjun chahte ki meri bare mei kisiko kuch na pata chale..." Sakshi replied in sad tone.
"Mei yeh samajthi huh aur siwkar bhi kiya.. Par dard hota yeh jankhe ki koi aur unhe chahne lage...." she asked in teary voice. "Dil dhukta hain, apne pati ke paas rehkar unpar apni hakh na jatana,... Kitni badi asaubhagan huh... Shadi hote huyi bhi apne mayke ki naam use karthi huh..unkhe paas rehkar bhi aajtak unki patni puritarah nahi banpai mei.... kisior ke muh se unke liye feelings sunkhe acha nahi lagta mujhe!"
Shree nodded as from childhood she was possessive of Arjun, and her relations, and her sacrifice, Caressing her hairs, "Lekin unke dil ki mallika toh tum hih hona.... Yeh log bhai ka woh roop dekha hih nahi jinki har pal tere naam hai..." "Bale hih duniya ke samne tum mrs Arjun Rawte nahi hoh, par ismatlab yeh nahi ki tum woh nahi hoh, aapdono ki rishta toh Bhagwan usidin jodhdiya jab bhai tumhe pehli baar apne godh mei liya, yeh kehke...ki aaj se tum unki jaan hoh!" He smiled remembering the flashback when they were told about Arjun words when he first took her into his hands. Even sakshi smiled.
"Koi nahi jante lekin hum jante haina, Arjun Rawte ko koi ghutnon par le aye woh keval tum hoh..... Bale hih Riya unke upar anewali bullet li ussdin, issliye humhara pura parivaar uski karz zindagi bar uthay tab bhi kam hain.....par ek sach yeh bhi hai ki tumhara pyaar ki takat hih hain unhe aaj tak koi chu nahi paye, tumhara pyaar unhe maut ke muh se bhi wapas la sakthe, yeh pehle bhi hochuka ek baar jab bhai kisi mission mei bahut injured huye tey........ Aur mei yeh yakeen ke saat kehsaktha huh ki agar tujhe kuch hoga toh unki dil ki dhadkan wahi bandh hogi aur saath thi mera ..." But his words were stopped as Sakshi closed his mouth nodding in no.
"Aisa kabhi mat kehna... Agar tumhe zinda rakhne keliye humhe marna pade toh hum sou baar marthe lekin tujhe kuch hone nahi denghe Shree..." Sakshi said pulling him into hug.
Shree nodded but he knew without them both he is nothing....their family is nothing. Caressing his hairs, she said... "Sorry bacha... Mei apne dard mei yeh bhulgai ki tumhe kaisa lagta hoga jab sab yeh baate tumhare samne karthe... Aur yeh bhi ki mere tarah tumhe bhi apna identity chupana pada... Jabki RR ki youngest prince hone ke baad bhi sabke samne ek orphan banna pada tujhe!"
This was seen by Arjun who came to ask her what's wrong but had a smile on his face listening to their talks... "Sach Jaan... Joh Shree kaha woh sab sach hain...."
Later at night, "Arjun... Aap mujhe kaha lekar jaa rahe hai?" Sakshi asked as Arjun closed her eyes.
"Bas.. jaan... Ek minute Rukho!" Saying he removed his hands. Looking front, she got huge smile as Arjun arranged a candle light dinner, on their terrace.
"Yeh?"
Making her sit, "Arjun Rawte at your service Ma'am!" He said bowing before her which brought a huge smile.
"Arjun...achanak yeh sab?" Sakshi asked making him sit beside.
"Achanak kuch nahi Jaan... Tum udaas thi, toh socha kuch aisa karke teri chehre par smile lao.." Arjun whispered gazing at her, and opened the lid.
Seeing her favorite noodles, she smiled excitedly... "Insab ki jarurat nahi thi... Arjun..."
Nodding his head, he served on her plate... Fed with his hand with love. Both fed eachother. After that Arjun started the music, bending before her he forwarded his hand...
Sakshi kept her hand on his with smile, Arjun bringing her into centre, kept his hands on her waist, pulling her close..both synced steps with eachother. Twirling her he lifted into his arms turning around without breaking his eye contact. Suddenly the climate changed and rain started pouring, wetting them but both were in their own world.
Arjun left her as she spread her arms, twirling enjoying the raindrops, while he stood with his arms crossed gazing at her intently. He saw her saree hugging her body giving view of her perfect curves, going towards her he caught her hand and pulled with a force that she fell on his hard chest, nuzzling her neck...he bit her neck making her moan, "Arjun!"
Locking her hands around his neck, she stared at his eyes, both inching closer that their was no gap for air to pass, he started showering kisses on her forhead, then eyes, on her nose, cheeks and stopped looking at her petals... Without warning he took them. Sakshi gripped his shirt tightly pouring her love in the kiss, till they felt short of breath. Coming out he touched his forhead with hers, "Tum theek hoh!"
Sakshi nodded with blush, which make his heart skip always. Lifting her he carried to their room. "Kapde badalo Jaan... Tandh lagjayegi!"
At the sametime both sneezed, "Achuu!!!"
"Tandh lagjayegi nahi lagai... Aap bhi change kijiye!" Saying she went inside, while he changed into room.
Coming out she saw him on the bed, went and started drying his hair with towel.. "Jaan apne baal dry karlo..."
"Arjun...mei dryer se karlungi, pehle aapke baal sukhane dho..." As he won't use machine. After him she dried her hairs and slept beside him, "Thank you aajkeliye!" Saying she pecked his lips.
Bringing her close, both slept peacefully.
