CHAPTER-21
"Arjun ek baat batayiye...aisa kya huwa ki Shree apne project inta jaldi complete karke wapas mumbai agai aur dubara shimla jane se mana karrahe tey?" Sakshi asked him as she thought may be he had idea about it.
Arjun frowned remembering the accident after which he was distant, "pata nahi Sakshi.... Bas shimla na jane ke zidd pakad ke beithe tey, mere yeh bolne par bhi ki mei waha guest banke jaa raha huh tab bhi nahi mane aur mujhse hih apne certificates manwaye woh!"
Caressing her hair, he though in mind, " shayad yeh sab uss accident ka baad huwa hoga!" But he didnot want to tell about it in any case.
Next day it became normal for them... Shree didnot say a word about it again as he did not understand why he behaved in that way as he should be happy for his jiju who is trying to move on, be it with Liza..... Having a determination he decided not to blame Liza unnecessarily but felt pang thinking about seeing her with someone else.
Arjun tried to talk with him, but Shree avoided the topic saying, "I am sorry bhaiya...kal pata nahi kya hogaya mujhe....mujhe aisa dekhkar aap bahut pareshan hogai na...."
"Koi nahi Chote, tum theek hoh!" Arjun asked in soft voice noticing the dullness. He want to tell about Sakshi's plan but he knew that his brother should fight for his love if he truly want her in his life. "Liza ke baare mei kya soche hoh?"
"Sochna kya hai bhai....woh aage badhchuki....aur jiske saath woh kush rahne lagi woh mere jiju hain. Mei apne jiju se unke khushi cheen nahi saktha." Shree said without meeting his eye.
Arjun shook his head, "Ek baar socho Shree... Kya pata tum joh soch rahe hoh woh sab galat hoh aur woh dono keval dost hain. Agar tu sach mei usse pyaar karthe hoh toh lado apne pyaar keliye..."
Shree nodded but he decided to let go of her. Taking his phone he saw many missed calls of his friends called , asssuring them he is fine, and went to office.
They got involved in case of a small child named bunty kidnapping.
Arjun, Sameer and others arrived at the apartment and started investigating. They asked everyone about no one had any info.
Arjun looking around, " Aplogon ka kisi se dushmani."
"Nahi.... Mera kisise koi dushmani nahi...." The father replied but his wife said, "Shayad yeh uska kaam hoga...meine kaha apse ki kuch mat kijiye lekin gusse mei apne pawan ko nikhal diya."
Sameer looking at him, "Pawan?"
"Woh iss society ka night guard tey....parso jab hum bahar se arahe tey toh woh apne kaam chod ke kissi se ghanto der baat karthe hain, yeh pehli baar nahi huwa... society ke sab log pareshan tey...issliye humhe uss nikhalna pada....lekin woh aisa kyu karega?" The person said getting worried for his son.
"Shree, chotu.... Pura society ka talashi lo....tum teeno bhi sari flats mei puch tach karo...koi toh hoga Bunty ko dekhe!" Arjun ordered them.
Coming down Sameer asked, "Kya lagata hai?"
"Abhi kuch keh bhi nahi sakthe sam... Uss bache ko agwa hone ka karan!" Saying Arjun eye went on to Gardner who came in front his car when they arrived. Going to him, "Mali kya tum Bunty ko dekhe ko?"
"Ji...mei jab dekha bunty baba toh bachon se khel rahe tey par achanak kaha gayab hogaya pata nahi." The Mali replied to them, while Arjun looked at him in suspicion.
They all returned back to the office, " humhe phirse sab se puch tach karni hoga...inta secured society lekin ek chotasa bacha kaha gai kisko nahi pata, na Mali ko na security ko na watch man ko aur koi bunty ko bahar jate bhi nahi dekha, kuch toh chut raha hain!"
"Ayesha, Riya, Chotu tumtenon uss watchman ka ghar gaye na jisse Harish ne nikala.....pata chala woh kaha hain" Arjun asked them.
Riya nodded giving him a letter which they got, "Woh waha nahi tha...lekin isko dekhe lagta hain ki pawan ko paison ki sakhth jarurat thi..."
"Aisa hain toh....hoskatha hain pawan hih bunty ko kidnap kiya hoh apne beizzat ka badla lene" Sameer gave his input.
"Agar aisa hai ko kidnapper joh koi bhi hoh woh Harish ko contact jarur karenge..." Arjun said, "Shree...unki mobiles, landline, bank details, cards sab pe nazar rakho!"
"Woh toh mei already karchuka huh!" Shree replied giving a huge smile, while others shook their head.
Arjun glaring at him, chided "Muskhurao mat!"
"Landline?" Shree nodded in no glancing at others who were giggling at his state..."Udhar idhar ky adekh rahe hoh Landline ko bhi trace karo!"
"Yes Sir!" While Sameer smiled lightly listening to Arjun scoldings.
"Ayesha, Chotu tum dono Harish par nazar rakho! Kuch bhi chutna nahi chahiye!" Sameer ordered them who nodded going from there.
Sakshi glancing at Shree who was in sulking mood shook her head, "abh kya din bar aise hih muh banakar rahoge kya?"
"Par...woh itna kyu bhadak rahe ...kahi aapdono ke beech kuch huwa toh nahi na?" Shree whispered slowly.
"Nahi...woh tujhe hih lekar pareshan hain,"
"Yeh kya baat huyi...mujhe lekar pareshan hain aur mujhe par hih badak rahe woh...yeh galat hain!" Shree said typing on his laptop.
" Abh chod inh baaton ko aur kaam par dyaan dho...warna Arjun phirse gussa karenge"
"Ha ...gusse ke alawa kuch atha bhi hain kya unhe?" Shree asked sarcastically,
"Chup raho Shree...aur daanth khane hai kya?"
The other duo returned, "Sir! Apka shak sahi hain...Harish gehne bejke paanch lakh ka intezaam kiya!"
"Harish ko panch lakh intezaam karna koi mushkil baat nahi...kyunki aaj Sunday hain sare banks bandh hain, agar woh itna jaldi paisa ka intezaam karraha hain toh uske paas time nahi hain, joh bhi hoga aaj hih hoga!" Sameer said.
"Aur waise bhi jisse Harish ka background pata hoh...woh itna chota rakhm kyu mangenga...aur hum to phones track karrahe na?" Sakshi said thinking deeply.
"Iska matlab kidnapper kisi aur tarekh se unhe damkaya hoga!"
"Aur aksar log apne bache keliye police tak yeh baat paunchane nahi dete!" Sakshi completed his sentence.
"You are right sakshi, jarur kidnapper kisior tarikhe se contact kiye, yeh toh bahut chalak nikhla!" Arjun said twisting the pen.
"Iska matlab humhe Nazar rakhna hoga!" Sameer said standing from his place.
The team as decided, surrounded the entrance in disguise near the society at night to nab the kidnapper. Arakshi were inside a taxi...while Arjun was seriously looking out, sakshi got bored as he on the news channel,. Glaring at him, who was busy staring outside, she changed the radio to song, "Sakshi!"
"Kya Arjun ... Mei bore horahi huh!" Sakshi pouted folding her hands. "Kitne der se beithe hun, kuch nahi huwa, mujhe bahut neendh arahi..aur aap hain ki, bahar dekhne se fursat hih nahi milrahi!"
"Toh tum aye kyu... Ghar mei aram karlete ..kaha meine tujhe bore lagegi...isse acha tu ghar par aram karlete... waise bhi tumhari jarurat nahi thi!" Arjun said as they both switched off their bluetooth.
"Aise kaise jarurat nahi hain..... Pati ke sath rehna, unke seva karna patni ka dharam hota hain Arjun.." sakshi teased him.
"Bas..bas ..Tumhara dharam kya hai, achese pata hain mujhe.... Ghar mei mera bolna bandh karthe hoh, mujhe par hukum Chalke, apne kaam karwake....aur abh bata rahi hoh, patni daram hain, yeh sab tab kyu yaad nahi rehta....jab tu mujhse apne peir dabathe hoh..." Arjun sassed with her rolling his eyes making her giggle...."kya se kya banake rakh diya tu aur shree mujhe!" He shook his head...
" aur haa mei yeh bhi janta huh ki tumhara ane ki peeche ka wajah, kya thi!" He smirked at her.
Folding hands on her chest, "Koi wajah nahi mei bhi help karna chahti!"
"Aur woh help yeh ki Riya mere saath na rahe! Haina?" He whispered with teasing smile clearing enjoying her facial expressions, whose face became red with jealousy..
Glaring at him, she retirted "Apko badi chinta horahi... Riya ki?"
"Haa...kyunki agar woh hoti toh kamsekam mujhe Shanti toh milti, teri tarah bakbak karke mujhe parishan nahi karthi!" Arjun teased her adding fuel in her jealousy.
" Arjun mei aapse kehrahi huh dur rahiye Riya se, warna mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.......woh nahi janti lekin apko toh pata haina aap par keval mera hakh hai!" Sakshi glared at him pointing her finger.
Chuckling he squeezed her cheeks, "Jalan mei bhi cute larahi hoh!"
Removing his hand forcefully she huffed but seeing a shooting star, "Arjun dekho tut tha hua tara..." she said excitedly clapping her hands.
"Jaan... Mei yeh sab belive nahi kartha!" Arjun said looking out, though enjoying her cuteness.
"Par mei toh manthi huh na Arjun...." Saying she prayed for her family safety. "Meri parivaar humesha kush rahe!"
Arjun turned his gaze to her smiling softly, "Kabhi kabhi apne liye bhi kuch maangho!"
"Abh kya manghna hain, joh chahiye woh mere zindagi mei alredy hain aur... Mere manghne se pehle aap meri har khwaiysh pura karthe...toh mei aur kya mangu!" Sakshi replied, with smile giving him chai.....which he took, "Chai tune banai!" When she nodded, he asked "Kab?"
"Kab? Kaise? Yeh sawal kyu apko apka chai mila na toh uss par dyaan dho bewajah ki sawal puch rahe aap!" Sakshi said taking a sip from her glass.
It's past two in night but there was no slight disturbance. In the silent night a shrill voice brought Arakshi from their revive, noticed it was Sakshi's phone which was ringing continuously.
Seeing the caller ID she looked at Arjun and lifted it, but listening to what otherside informed her eyes went wide in shock...."yeh tum abh bata rahe hoh....backup ready hai ki nahi?"
Hear Arjun was worried looking at her, "Sakshi kya huwa?"
"Arjun hum par attack hone wala hain, aap Bhai ko contact kijiye mei security ko activate karthi huh!" Saying Sakshi called their head security.
Arjun without saying anything did what she said, Shree who was on bike hiding with Liza got startled as a black car stopped before them. Noticing the emblem, that the car belongs to them, Shree frowned at the same time he got call from Sakshi who ordered him to get in the car with Liza confusing him.
"Liza chalo!" Saying both went inside the car. "Khanna tum?"
"Shree...yeh sab kya hain hum beech mei kaha jarahe, Arjun sir chodenge nahi humhe!" Liza said but giving a deaf ear to her... "Batao khanna baat kya hai?"
"Sir... Arjun sir ka order aya ki aapdono ko safely ETF paunchao..." His reply brought frown on Liza but Shree felt something is going to happen tried to ask but at the same time he listened firing sound understood they were under attack..."Khanna abhi issi wakht wapas lejao humhe!"
But the security shook his head, "Sorry sir! Apke orders na follow karne ka order mila mujhe..." " Damn it khanna....kisne yeh orders diye mujhe koi farak nahi padta abhi ke abhi car wapas lejao..."Shree yelled on him. "I am really sorry sir...yeh unki order hain mei cha kar bhi isse tal nahi saktha! Magar aisa kiya toh woh mujhe chodhengi nahi..." Shree glared at him, hell worried for his family.
Here Sameer getting info, took Ayesha hand going towards ETF SUV...."Chalo, Ayesha!"
Same with Chotu and Riya who were few distance away from them, whom Sameer picked up....
Only Arjun and Sakshi were not in cover, as they were far away from vehicles, the firing started....Arjun giving his other gun to her, "Jaan samai agai.... Insab ko dikhane ka ki ek aurat kamzoor nahi...." With that both worked together taking down the goons who surrounded them.
Sakshi without hesitation fired bullets at others though with an intent only to make them incapable..... They almost took everyone down. Arjun smiled proudly at her who handled the situation, got horrified as someone from her back targeted her ...swiftly moving he pulled her into his embrace shooting the person spot dead.
"Tum theek hoh! " Arjun asked stroking her hairs. Sakshi nodded hugging him, "Haa...aur aap?"
Arjun nodded at the same time a car came, the person getting down "Sir,Mam aap dono theek haina?" The security asked with worry.
Arjun holding Sakshi sideway...glared at the person, "Kaha mar gaye tey tumsab!"
"Sir...humhara rasta kisine rokha issliye samai par nahi aapaye hum." The security looked down.
"Arjun chodiye unke kya galti hai..... pehle yahase chalte hain, Shree....bhai sab pareshan hone!" Sakshi said making his anger deflate.
Nodding at her, he glared at the person..." Mei tum logon se baad mei nipatlunga aur Dad ya chachu se iss baat ki zikhar karne ki jarurat nahi!" Ordering him Arjun made her to sit in passengers seat, he himself taking the steering, they were slightly injured in the fight.
The sun was rising lighting the sky....."Sakshi, yeh attack hone wala tumhe kaise pata?"
"Mere sources Arjun, jaise unhe pata chal ki hum par attack hone wala hain mujhe inform kiya..." She said pressing her forehead...
"Achanak humpar attack...kahi kisiko tumhare ya Shree ke bare mei pata toh nahi chala na?" he was getting anxious but Sakshi kept her hand on him, "Relax Arjun... Aisa kuch nahi huwa, agar Shree target hota toh mere kehne se pehle hih woh ek protective layer mei hota....yeh attack ETF ke cheif aur second in command ke upar kiye gaye hai!"
"Par jaan woh log tumpar jyada dyaan derahe tey..."
",Kuyunki meri karan unki leader joh pakde gaye tey!" Sakshi whispered looking outside, while Arjun clenched his jaw understanding who was behind it, "Pathan ke admi!"
"Haa...."
The car entered inside the ETF quarters. Here inside the team was tensed as there was no word from Arjun or Sakshi. Sameer was trying their numbers but they were not reachable...frustated he threw the phone breaking it into pieces startling the whole team.
Riya, Chotu, Ayesha and Liza glanced at eachother....they were still trying to gasp the situation. "Ayesha jaa aur unhe sambhalo!"
Ayesha moving towards him kept her hand on his shoulders, "Sameer...sambhaliye apne aapko...Arjun sir or sakshi ko kuch nahi hoga!"
Sameer already frustated turned around but from the corner of his eye he noticed his brother devasted state who had not said a word, closed his eyes..."Arjun, Sakshi kaha hoh tum.... Ek taraf tumdono ki koi khabar nahi aur dusri taraf shree ko sahar bhi nahi desakthe sabke samne...please bhagwan unhe jaldi bhejdijiye."
Even Liza observed his state who had not said a word after the shouting match with the security, she didnot know what to think of that interaction, as she saw his new face...who was shouting on the person with authority. While they were in their thoughts Arakshi entered inside.
Watching their state the team looked shocked as both had few injuries. Shree who saw them got up with tears taking long strides towards them. Arjun, Sam and Sakshi knew if they won't stop Shree would call them bhai-bhabhi...
Going front, Sakshi stopped him pulling into a hug who hugged her tightly not even realising the surroundings. Caressing his back...she whispered slowly, in his ears "Shree shambhal apne aapko....sab dekhrahe ..apne jazbat ko control karo.... Tera bhai bilkul theek hain."Shree nodded coming out of the hug, looking at her injuries, he panicked..." Sakshi khoon nikhal rahi hai.."
This brought all attention on her, "Liza first aid lekar avo!" He said making her sit while Arjun sat beside her...even he was injured.
Liza brought first-aid, snatching it from Liza, Shree was about to clean her wound but Sameer moving foward took the cotton from him, "Rawte ka first aid karo mei sakshi ka karthi huh."
Shree nodded going to his brother....tears welled up in his eyes seeing wound on his hand....started cleaning it gently, with the help of Liza, while Ayesha helped Sameer. Unknowingly Ayesha and Liza were in a such a way that, anyone who know them can see a perfect family. Sameer cleaning the wound, closed his eyes as she hissed in pain, due to burning of medicine. Same with Arjun and Shree...
Dressing their wounds, Sameer stood aside while Liza preparing tetanus, "Sir!"
Nodding at her Arjun rolled his sleeves, gazing at her, closed his eyes feeling a sharp pain.
Preparing other one she went to sakshi, watching it.. "Liza rehne de mujhe iski jarurat nahi" sakshi said leaning back into chair.
"Sakshi chotasa injection hih toh hain.." Ayesha said trying to caloje her but she was adamant.
"Sakshi chupchap lelo!"
"Arjun...aap dur hih rahiye...aapke tarah har koi tough nahi hota...mujhe injection se bahut darlagti matlab lagti...!" Saskhi pouted while Samjun shook their head.
"Sakshi!" Sameer tried to say something but Arjun stopped him, "Joh karna hain karo...bekar mei time waste mat karo sabka!" Saying Arjun left from there.
Sakshi frowned thinking, "Wah bappa apne chamatkar kiya....iss Akdu ne itni asani se mangai.."
The team, surrounded her asking what happened while she said all details to them, at the same time Arjun narrated what happened to Sameer who was boiling in anger..."Iss pathan ka hissa humhe jaldi khatam karna hoga Arjun!"
Arjun nodded, taking Sameer phone he messaged Sakshi to come to his cabin. Sakshi excusing herself, went to his cabin..."Arjun aapne bhulaya?"
Sameer going towards her pulled into hug, "Tum theek hoh,?"
Nodding at him she gave rest to his worry..."Mei theek huh bhai...chinta mat kijiye aap!"
Going to Arjun, "aapne bulaya kyu?"
Arjun wrapped his uninjured hand around her waist, "bas aise hih..."
"Arjun kya karrahe aap....woh bhi bhai ke samne!" Sakshi wriggled in his hands but Arjun gazed ta her intently locking their eyes..."Jaan!" He whispered with love. "I love you!"
Sakshi forgetting her surroundings gazed at him, as even she was frightened with all that. Here Arjun nodded at Sam, without losing her eye contact he lifted her duppata placing on her shoulders, as she wore sleeveless.... giving a way to Sameer who had syringe in his hand.
Sakshi unaware of their plan was only gazing at Arjun with love trying to soak that what ever happened was Just a nightmare.....came out of her thoughts shouting loudly "Ahhhhh!" as pain shot through her.....
Arjun left her as Sameer pulled the needle out...."Ahahaah...." She whined rubbing her hand, stomping her feet glaring at the duo who didnot have a ounce of regret, instead just fold their hands giving their signature look.
"Mera pyaar ka faida uthaya apne...yeh cheating hain!" She pouted waving her finger at the both.
"Faida toh tum utharahi thi Jaan...humhari mazboori ka lekin yeh kaise bhulgai ki hum tere health par koi chance nahi lenghe.... tetanus lena jaruri tha, mei bhi toh liya na!" He said trying to rub her hand but she pushed him beating his chest with her fist..."apko darnahi lagta iskamatlab mujhe bhi nahi lagega..... aap bahut bure hoh." She huffed caressing her hand.
Even pushing Sameer she whined, "aap bhi!" and moved out grumbling at him.
Cursing them she didnot see shree coming from opposite side got dashed with him... steadying her he asked, "Kya huwa?"
"Yeh tum apne khadus bhai se kyu nahi puchte?" Sakshi fired at him unnecessarily still rubbing her hand wincing slightly. Noticing her actions he shook his head, "Akhir Bhai ne injection diya na?"
" Samajthe kya hain..apne aap kho woh dono!" Sakshi grumbled...
" Abh pata chali, mujhe kaise lagta.." Shree sulked as they all gang upon him..
"tu chup karega yaa tappad khayega?" Sakshi asked pointing her finger, "mere zhakhm par namak chidhane ki jarurat nahi..."
Sakshi pouted cutely, "Ghar ane dho batati huh!"
"Koi farak nahi padega, unhe..... pata haina, ulta daanth khayenge!" Shree said shaking his head, to which she nodded cutely.
They again got involved in case and solved it, before lunch. "Sab off lelo...kal subah se kaam karrahe tey tumlog!" Sameer said giving off.
Getting fresh Arjun saw her painful expression which she was masking, sat beside her.. "jaan tumhe kahi aur bhi chot lagi na?"
Sakshi looking at him, nodded... He made her lie on the bed turning her back to him, opened her dress zip and saw .. purple bruise on her skin, took the ointment gently applying on the wound... "Toh waha kyu nahi batai.."
"Kaise batati....sab haina!"
Arjun nodded gently blowing air on the wound....he closed the zip and turned her around taking into his arms....kissed her forhead...he was afraid that dangers were only increasing.
