"Arjun take her in your cabin." Sakshi said hurriedly.

Picking her up in his arms, he walk in his cabin while others followed behind.

After making her lay on the couch, Arjun again started patting her cheeks while Shree passed him a glass of water to sprinkle. Chotu return back to them along with Liza, who rushed in with her kit and start checking on Riya.

To calm Arjun down, Sakshi said "Arjun relax. It must be weakness, she will be fine."

"Haan Sir, Riya hadn't had her lunch na? That's why she was feeling dizzy at Mr. Sethi's house also." Shree chipped in with reason but his words made Arjun more tensed.

"What she was feeling dizzy there? Shree, are you idiot? Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Arjun whispered yelled, still sitting beside Riya patted her cheek gently.

Hearing Arjun's yell, Shree caught his stupidity and bowed his head mumbling "Sorry Sir."

"Relax, I am fine."

They all heard soft yet weak whispers and immediately turned towards Riya, who had woken up by now and trying to sit up but was gently pushed back to lying position by her beloved hubby, who glared at her while worry lines were still clearly visible on his forehead.

"Can we talk about the missing part in our investigation!?" Riya said softly with a sigh. Though she is trying to show she is fine but her weak hoarse voice give in the reality.

And the anger Arjun felt at the time was unexplainable. But he controlled the urge to shout at her seeing her weak and also he don't want to scold his wife infront of all. So pushing his anger back, Arjun called her in stern voice "Riya!" Which is enough for Riya to stop her rendezvous mind and rest.

But Riya being Riya. Had she ever felt intimidated by him? Never. Uh, okay only once when she tried to research on Roshini's case. Okay, she was intimidated by him twice when that aunty call him her (Riya's) husband in Kalki Desai case. Alright many time but now she is not afraid of him anymore as she is not a mere junior of his but his better half, his wife and she have lots of retort to throw at him on this certain matter. And she did that only as she said tauntingly

"Why? Only you are allowed to work in any condition - with high fever, on holiday. Huh!?"

This statement zipped Arjun's lips knowing very well that he cannot get back at her on this while others had to bit their lips to control their chuckles and laugh.

Seeing no reply coming from Arjun, Riya knew she had upper hand here but still respecting his care and concern as well as her weak health also didn't let her do much, she said softly "Okay listen, I'll take rest but just hear me out."

Knowing her stubbornness, Arjun found it much better solution than forcing her to rest. So he nodded his head but Liza interrupted saying "Yes Sir, it will be fine. You listen to her then after some rest took her to the doctor as she was the patient of virus once, I don't think my conclusion will be right. Doctor who treated her will check her more thoroughly."

Hearing about virus, Arjun's worries raised to more higher level while his face lost its colours and seeing his worried face Riya took hold of his hand and gesture others to leave them alone for a while. With a sigh, Riya whispered pleadingly "Relax, nothing is happening to me and it's some weakness only. Please Arjun."

Not wanting to stress her more, composing himself Arjun said nodding "What did you found about the case that you were telling us?"

"Haan. We missed two things in this case - first, the presence of holi colours near dead bodies and second both the murders took place on the day of festival which means either that killer is psycho who might be waiting to kill his prey for the next festival that can be holi. And if he doesn't want to kill more also he might have something obsessed with the holi colours, as in he faced something cruel where he saw lots of colors or he is very fond of colours."

Understanding her point, Arjun called Shree in and said "Pata karo dono families aur unke relatives mei kisi ke saath koi haadsa hua hai? As in any accident or any cruel traumatic incident?"

Suddenly that pathetic room flashed in his mind. So stepping away from Riya, Arjun whispered "Any kind of molestation? Maybe in childhood."

"Okay Sir." Shree said.

"Tum aur Liza yeh sari details nikalo. Ask Chotu and Sakshi to do a background check on Ritwik. I mean his health background- ask them to find out whether Ritwik had any kind of therapy session or not." Arjun ordered in low voice.

Shree nod while Arjun added "It's over for today, you guys go home while I am taking Riya to her doctor. Will inform you about her later. I want the details tomorrow before noon."

Listening 'Alright Sir!' from Shree, Arjun went back and sit beside Riya who closed her eyes keeping her head on his lap. While Shree went out of the cabin with an admiration shone in his eyes.

City hospital

6:45 P.M

"What is it doctor? She is fine, right? Anything serious? Should l...?"

A worried-sick Arjun asked the doctor.

Interrupting him in mid, doctor said calmly "Relax Mr Rawte, relax! She is fine. Its normal in this condition after all once she fought with the deadly virus, so these dizziness, nausea, fainting is expectable in her condition."

"Virus? Her condition? What condition? Till yesterday she was absolutely fine, then about which condition you are talking? What happened to Riya?" Arjun asked again this time with fear galloping his heart. Fear of loosing his love, his Riya again.

"Oh, I am sorry. You don't know.. I thought you are aware. Anyways. Well, first tell me ACP Arjun are you aware about your wife's monthly days?" Doctor asked him.

Arjun got distracted on hearing such question but gradually compose himself and reply "Uh! Sorry. Oh yeah, I am aware about it. But she hadn't had them from last month. On my asking she said maybe this time it got late or something."

Doctor exhale a deep breathe with small smile on her lip as she said "Ok, this means you both weren't expecting anything right now."

"What do you mean doctor?" Arjun asked confused.

"I mean..." She stopped on hearing footsteps. Both doctor and Arjun turn towards left and saw Riya along with nurse coming inside. Arjun quickly help her and made her sit on chair beside him before looking towards doctor with questioning eyes.

Doctor continued "It means your wife is pregnant ACP sir."

Next the doctor heard was two loud gasps which reverberate in the room, making both doctor and nurse shocked the couple shrieked "WHAT!!?" loudly before getting lost in each other's eyes which talked thousands and thousands loving words without any volume.

Seeing them lost, Doctor Sunita Vallabh chuckled while her eyes shone with admiration for the love of the couple sitting infront of her. She has seen almost every phase of this lovely inseparable couple - she had seen almost dying Riya, broken Arjun, loneliness and longing in Riya's eyes during her undercover mission, the glint in Riya's eyes on seeing Arjun on news channel, their togetherness, Riya's fear and pain, Arjun's support and care, their love and worry for each other, Everything, she has seen every phase of their life and now going to see their parenthood. Sunita felt proud of her for taking this profession on seeing so-much-in-love couples like Arjun and Riya, which is very rare to be seen in this world full of greedy and fake people.

She came out of her thoughts as she heard a sobbing sound and look towards them. She saw Riya crying on Arjun's chest with hiccups frightening the wits out of Arjun who is rubbing her back to sooth her while saying "Riyu please, stop crying. You are scaring me. Aren't you happy with the news? Don't worry we will do whatever you want but don't cry please."

Sniffing loudly, Riya shook her head negatively making Arjun's breath stuck in throat, thinking she didn't want the baby but next second he exhaled in relief on hearing Riya "I am so happy."

"Riya! Relax. You are straining yourself. Look I know it might sound scary but the truth is due to that virus consumption your immune system has become weak and during the stage of pregnancy the baby needs strength to develop which weakened the immune system of the mother more. So this means that your immunity level might be equal to zero during pregnancy which will make you prone to the diseases. Therefore you have to be careful while eating and must take ample rest every day. Okay?"

Doctor said with serious yet calm voice.

Arjun just gulped down worriedly while after wiping her tears, Riya nodded her head slightly.

"Good. Then there is nothing to be worried about." Doctor exclaimed before turning to the nurse and continued "Veena ask the dietitian Ms Sonal about diet plan according to this file."

Turning back to Arjun, Doctor said "To be on saver side, you have to take care of her diet which should be nutritious and I am prescribing few vitamin tablets along with anti nauseatic pill but use them only when needed. Okay?"

Arjun nodded his head noting each details carefully in his mind. Riya was lost in some thoughts not listening to the doctor. Suddenly she sit straight and asked doctor in desperate voice "Doctor I can work, right? Please don't deny this request. Please. Please. Please.!!"

But before doctor could say a word, Arjun whispered yelled "Riya, Shut up! ETF wouldn't stop working if you didn't came for few months. Just keep quite."

Huffing in irritation, Riya pouted her lip while doctor bit the inside of her cheek to control her laugh. Not able to control, doctor said chuckling "Relax ACP, she is not sick or something to be house arrest. Its just she have to be extra careful now and rest more, that's it. And Riya you can work as you are two months pregnant only and but after four months you have to increase in your resting hours and shouldn't stress or exert yourself too much."

Hearing this, Riya happily nodded her head vigorously while Arjun sulked with worry lines visible on his forehead.

Soon they left the hospital after buying the prescribed medicines and diet plan. In the car, there was disturbing silence between them as both were pleasantly surprised with the news as well as stress that instead of celebrating other had to be worried or angry.

But like always her love heard her silent plead unknown to her. Seeing the direction the car moving in opposite of their home towards outskirt of the city. Confused Riya asked looking at him "Where are we going? Weren't we going home?"

Arjun look at her silently before turning his gaze back to road and smirked knowing soon her reaction will be changed.

And was he right...
