CHAPTER 1
At College
"Today is the first day of college since I and ronnie broke up over spring break. i have kept busy the whole week,spending time with my family and letting my friends to try to keep my mind off him with their crazy antics, but now it's being impossible to avoid those recollections. i was broken inside..but i decided to move on..
my name is riya..and today is my first day of college after my breakup..i've grid up my lion to face him off...i took oath to never even look at him!" She thought while standing still in between the front Gate of the college.
She close her eyes and takes a deep breathe..while keeping her eyes close...she take up a step ahead and began to walk normally..revolving her eyes all around watching the blank faces of passers by..
ronnie is the year above me,he's in 2nd year .but riya is also in this upper division class due to her overachieving ways...
She reached the entrance door of the building..and began to climb the stairs swiftly..Although she was present at the college but her mind was still in her beloved Ex's memories.. suddenly a boy called out her name from behind. she stoped and turned round with a big smile at her face..
Riya: Shree tum?
While smiling he was looking at her.
"Han main"..saying this he began to climb the stares and reached her. Riya was still smiling..
Shree: Ri...yeh fake smile mat de mujhe...i know what are you feeling inside..
"arry...nai shree i'm fine now." and her eyes began to fill with tears..knowing this that her tear can roll out at any moment..she put her eyelids down..
"No you are not...u know teri problem kya hai?'' asked shree.
"Kya" she replied in Undertone.
"Yaar tu itni mahaan kyu banti hai" asked shree
"Kya matlab" she replied while picking her lids up to him..
"Aansu aa hi rahe hain to beh jane de na inhe..?!" he said in soft tone showing his sympathy to her.
Hearing this she hugged shree and brust into tears...
He tried to console her by saying "stop crying for that unlucky ronnie riya...your tears doesn't mean for him".She wipe her tears.
Shree: Ye hui na baat..Aao andar chalein.( and the two moved in)
In the way to their class they met their third best friend Chandrakant AKA Chotu and the trio began to move for their class. Suddenly Aisha ( the fourth member of the gang) Appeared.
"Kahan reh gaye thy tum teeno??.. pata hai pichle 10 min se tum sab ko dhund rahi hoon aur tum log ho ke..khair choro sb mere sath chalo kuch kaam hai" said aisha in one breath.
"saans to le lo yaar" asked chotu.
"mjhe kuch nahi pata bas mere sath chalo i want to show you something" saying this she tried to force them backward.
"Ruko Aisha..mjhe nahi jana" said riya.
"Par kyu? ab kya hua?"
"Kuch nai bas i want go to the class" replied riya.
"Arry par.." before aisha could complete her sentence she asked to let her go and the trio went away.

Riya was standing outside the door of her class for a long second, trying to collect her thoughts and tape into her inner strength. But then the bell rings and she had no chance but to rush inside. she've never been tardy her entire life and she's not about to break her perfect attendance streak for one sleazy little Ex-boyfriend.
Her heart was pounding in her chest as she push opened the door and walked inside. At once, all eyes were on her. Everyone were aware of her scandle by now and her face heats up as she them smirking and whispering to each other.
She sanned the room.looking for a spot to sit. Before she could stop herself, her eyes land on Ronnie sitting at a lab table in the back corner. A lump formed in her throat.
Ronnie looks up at her entrance and her eyes met. To his surprise, his mouth broke into a grin and he waived at her. His new girlfriend sitting besides him catches his gaze and raises an eyebrow in her direction. Then she giggled and whispered something i his ear that made him laugh as well. There was no doubt him riya's mind that they were making fun of her.
Her cheeks redden and she quickly turned away from them and slides in a seat in the very front of the classroom, as far away from their laughing faces as possible. But she could still hear the whispering and gossiping from every corner of the room.
She couldn't believe the nerve of ronnie. The two of them hadn't broken up for more than a week, and he'd already moved on..
Aisha, Shree and Chotu along with other student enters the room , had a glimpse on ronnie who smirked at them and rolled his eyes away. trio sat behind riya.
"Yeh to kitna chaalu nikla na yaar abhi ek week mein hi sab bhul bhal gya" whispered chotu.
"Kaha tha na yeh lafangy aise hi hoty hain" Replied shree..
"Shut up Guys...agar Riya ne sun liya to kitna bura lagy ga ussy" Taunted aisha, but to her misfortune she heard all their conversion they just had. She felt awkward..then she just opened her book and pretended to bury herself in the lecture when the professor walked in and started the class. Memories of previous classes, when she sat where she( The new Girlfriend of ronnie) was sitting in back, and spent all class passing notes and flirting and messing around with ronnie consumed her mind, and she couldn't concentrate.
Unexpectedly, her eyes began to fill with tears. She hadn't shed one tear for that bast**d all week, but seeing his laughing at her she like that is salt on her wounds.
She dug her nails into her palm to distract herself and tried to focus on the lecture. But all the words the professor wrote on the board blended together in her hazy mind.
Then there opened the door. Everyone stopped to stare at the source of the rude intruction, and even the professor paused for a second.
A second later..and a boy wearing blue jeans and sport shoes strolls in.. he saunters to the front of the room and drops his late slip on the desk in front of the professor. The professor simply sighs and continued his lecture.
Riya caught a glimps on him and then moved her eyes off him and turned a page in her notebook to a flesh sheet when a moement to her right distracted her. She looked up,and found Arjun lounging in the empty seat besides her. She freezed for a second, confused.
There were plenty of other empty seats in the room. Why couldn't he sit anywhere else Irritated, she decided to pay no heed and scribbled in her notebook with renewed vigor.
After the lecture overs..the professor walked out the room. Other students also begun to move for the next lecture but riya was still sitting discomposed, so did Arjun glaring at the board.
Shree Aisha and chottu looked at eachother Stupendously.
"Guys..yeh uth kyu nahi raha yaha se?" asked aisha.
"Mjhe to lagta hai yeh zaroor koi gadbad krne wala hai" Replied chotu.
She while hitting on his arm said "chup kar..jab dekho anab shanab hi bakte rehte ho".
"Quiet Guys" whispered aisha.
Riya tried her best to get up the seat but at the moment she felt like her body was freezed at the place. With his soft loving voice he called out " Riya ".
Riya opened up her eyes surprisingly so the trio sitting behind. Her heart beat slowed down..but she prefered ignoring over sitting and listening to his Ex's best friend. She got up and begun to walk towards the door..He tried to stop her, calling her name..but she left with her friends. Arjun hits the table furiously. Closing his eyes he tried to control his anger and gets off the chair, walking towards ronnie.
"Arry arjun..Kesa hai yar..bari batein ho rahi thi meri Ex ke saath" saying this he smirked.
"Ronit..aakhir kab tak yaar?" questioned arjun to ronnie.
"Kya yar ab mene kya kiya" asked ronnie pointlessly.
"you know very well what i'm talking about" replied arjun with a bit harsh voice.
Ronnie became serious.."Arjun..tu hosh mein to hai na" he got up and checked his body temperature. " bukhar to nahi hai".
"stop it ronnie..tu boht galat kar raha hai riya ke saath" said arjun fiercely while controlling his temper.
"Mere bhai boht bhola hai tu..abhi tu janta nahi ussey..boht chaalu larki hai woh" said ronnie while laughing..
"i know her for last two years ronit...she's really very good girl, yaad hai tu khud hi to bhagta tha us ke peechy.aur ab jab woh tere paas hai to tu us ke sath itna galat kyu kar raha hai" asked arjun.
Ronnie: Yaar tere bhai ki weakness hain larkiyan..and me kisi ke sath zyada dair nibha nai pata..you know na!
Arjun: Yeah i know...tabhi kaha tha woh tere type ki larki nahi
Ronnie: Tabhi to chora hai na ussey..wo mere type ki nahi boht chipku hai uff..
Arjun smiled " tujhe samjhana na...bekar hai"
Ronnie smiled back " Tabhi to kehta hoon bro...ek gayi to dusri..duri gayi to teesri..bs enjoy the life".
"Aisi life tujhe hi mubarak ho" replied arjun.
Ronnie: Tu kabi nahi sudhre ga
Arjun: Tere saath reh reh kar tere jaisa ho gya hoon
Ronnie: Haan bas..yehi to apni pehchan hai..
Arjun: chal kuch khaa lein boht bhook lagi hai
Ronnie: Yeah let's go..Break ka time bhi ho gya
Arjun: Oh Yah..mein to bhul hi gaya
Ronnie: to chalo phir
Arjun: chalo!
And they went away..
In The Canteen
Riya was sitting distressed while shree , chotu and aisha were trying to console her.
"Riya..bas kar na yaar dekh tujhe dekh ker hum bhi kitna upset hain" said aisha.
"Haan riya itna sad toh tu pichly 1 week mein bhi nahi thi" said chotu.
'Ri...dekh..jo hua so hua..aaj to tera first day tha college mein aur abhi to tujhe roz ana hai..us ka samna krna hai..agr tu abhi se himmat haar jaye gi to aagy kya hoga" said shree disappointly.
"toh aur kya karu guys...pura ek week mere bina dil pe apne break up ki baat liye guzara hai aur tum log achy se jante ho ke kitni himmat kar ke aaj mein college aayi thi ke us ki shakal tak nahi dekhun gi..(a tear rolled out on her cheek) i know woh bura larka hai..usse koi farak nahi parta mein kya feel kartu hu kesa feel karti hu kuch nahi...par you know what guys???( silence all around) mujhe farak parta hai kyu ke.." " kyun ke kya" interrupted ronnie.
She looked up and saw ronnie, walking towards her. coming to her, he put his foot on the chair kept near besides a furious riya. "You know what riya..tumhari problem kya hai" He smirked while saying " Kitni chipku hai na tu yaar".
"Enough Ronit. Boht hua tumara tamasha..ab bas kro" said a boiling riya losing her all temper, saying this..she rushed to walk out when ronnie grabs her hand in mood of naughtiness. A displeased riya turned round.
"Leave my hand" said riya in anger.
"Chorr diya"..saying this her released her.
"Now you know what ronnie..?? You're so Wicked!" said riya while pointing her finger toward him, turned round. Before she could step forward to leave, her eyes rises on Arjun , arjun looked up and their eyes met for a moment before her daparture.The trio followed her.
"Yar kyu tang karta hi tu ussey..let her leave with peace" said arjun.
"Itni aasani se kaise chorr dun dost..abhi to bohat hisaab baqi hai" said ronnie.
Both smiled while looking at eachother.
