Ariya SS: Missing Puzzle Ch 5 UPDT 28th April 2016

Sun started dipping taking away the light with him. Slowly darkness prevailed in the atmosphere. Amidst the darkness, some people carried out their secret plan in a ship docked near the shore. Iqbal, the underworld don stood near the window over seeing his crew carrying out their assignments. Time to time he gave instructions to them regarding how to pack the cargo efficiently. He was a bit restless. He was in a hurry to dispatch the consignment without any problem. This consignment will help him to settle for life.

Breaking him from his thoughts, a loud gunshot was heard outside the ship. Everyone was alerted, so was he. Fishing out his gun he started firing towards the source of voice. All of a sudden he was kicked from behind. The gun flew from his hand. He turned back and saw Arjun Suryakanth Rawte and his elite team of ETF. Iqbal knew that his dream of settling for life has been shattered into million pieces.

After arresting Iqbal and gang, Sameer Rathod (Chief of ETF) instructed Arjun (2^nd in command) and Chotu (Commando, ETF) to search the ship. Sreekanth Sen urf Shree (Technical Expert) was given the duty to hack into the system, Ayesha (3^rd in command) oversaw the process of sending the criminals to the station. Sakshi (Crime Journalist) recorded everything in her video camera which will be later published as breaking news.

Chotu opened the barrels one by one. There were drugs filled. He opened the last barrel and was shocked by what he saw.

"Arjun Sir"

Arjun, who was searching a barrel, looked at Chotu as he called him. Clueless, he walked towards Chotu and followed Chotu's eyes; his heart skipped a beat as he saw a girl lying in the barrel. Her face was not seen properly. Coming out of the shock, he got hold of her shoulder and started pulling her up. He was afraid that she may be dead. Chotu also helped him in pulling her out.

As soon as he managed to pull her half way, he swung her over his shoulder, effectively taking her out of the barrel. He ran towards Liza (the forensic expert).

Arjun drove the SUV trough the busy roads. He looked towards the front passenger seat and saw the girl dozing off. She had kept her legs on the seat and her knees were drawn close to her chest. He felt warmth fill his heart at this sight. He tucked a hair strand behind her ear. He recalled what doctor had told about her condition a week ago.

"Officers, I believe she will of no use to you. I am sorry to say this, but she is mentally unstable. She just know that her name is Riya. She lives in an imaginary world where she is in love with a ghost names Arjun. I know, it's really insane. But this is common for mentally unstable people. Since you guys couldn't locate her relatives, I am referring her to a mental hospital nearby. I am very sorry that I couldn't be of any help to you officers."

Arjun was broken out of his reverie by a car horn. He straightened himself and drove towards his destination.

Miles away, Sakshi sat in her apartment's balcony overlooking the lake. Tears flew from her eyes continuously as she remembered whatever happened one hour before.

Flashback starts

On Arjun's insistence, ETF went to hospital to see Riya taken away to the mental hospital. Riya, unaware of the developments was playing with a toy gifted to her by one of the kids in the hospital. She had taken a shower and was dresses in a new frock gifted by the doctor. She saw Arjun and ran towards him.

"Hey Arjun 2"

"Hi Riya"

"You know Arjun2, doctor uncle told me that they are taking me to my Arjun"

He felt a pang in his heart realizing the lies doctor had told her.

"Arjun 2, Arjun 2, are you going to take me to my Arjun?"

She asked feeling hopeful. Suddenly she saw the mental hospital attendants and burse. Even in her mental state it was not difficult to guess that she was being lied to. She looked at Arjun with fear and tears brimming in her eyes. She hid behind him again and pleaded him.

"Don't let them take me away. They are bad people. They won't let me meet my Arjun"

Sakshi was furious to see all these interactions. She had started loving Arjun the moment she saw him. She was not ready to see him close to any other girl. So she went towards them and pulled Riya away.

The attendants came and started pulling Riya, she was crying and trying to go towards Arjun. Everyone except Sakshi had tears in their eyes seeing this. Arjun's condition was worst. He could feel in his guts that her tears and screams were going to haunt him for a long time.

After one week

True to his thoughts, he was not able to sleep for one week. He used to jerk open his eyes from the sleep seeing her in his dreams.

In office also he spent restless days. Not able to withstand the torture anymore, he decided to check upon Riya. When he informed this to his teammates everyone was against it. Sakshi was livid, Arjun couldn't stop lashing out at them.

"You guys can't stop me. I have to go and see her. It's easy for you people to tell me to forget her and not see her again. But it's not your sleep which is being haunted by her screams and pleadings, it's mine. Its torturing me every moment, I am going to see her. That's it."

With that he had stormed out of the office and gotten into SUV. Sameer and other took the other SUV and followed him.

The doctor in the mental hospital was shocked seeing Arjun Suryakanth Rawte there. Reluctantly he led him to where Riya was being kept.

Arjun's blood boiled seeing the condition in which she was under. She was being kept in a shabby room. Her legs and hands were tied to the legs of the cot. Since the chains were really short, Riya was sleeping in the cold floor. There were dried tear marks in her cheeks. Arjun's feet moved on its own accord and reached Riya, he knelt down beside her and scooped he in his embrace. He was not able to lift her up because of the shackles. His one look at the ward boy and ward boy removed the shackles hurriedly. Arjun lifted her up and made her lay down on the bed. He called her softly.

"Riya..."

She opened her eyes slowly. She gave a tiny smile.

"Arjun 2, you came!"

He nodded smiling lightly.

"I told you, they won't let me meet my Arjun. Will you please take me away?"

Tears flew from his eyes at this. Wiping his tears he gathered her in his arms and walked towards his SUV. Sakshi stopped him.

"What the hell do you think you are doing Arjun? Why are you taking this trouble on your head? We will admit her in some reputed mental hospital. You don't have to take care of her."

"What I am going to do in my life is none of your concern Ms. Sakshi Anand. You don't know me very well. SO don't try to interfere in my life. And about Riya, she is not born as mentally unstable. Situations made her like this, situations about which we have no idea. She doesn't need mental hospital. All she need is someone's love and care. It seems like I am the only person she trusts, so I will make sure that she comes back to her life. Now, move out of my way"

With that he had walked away to his SUV

Flashback stops.

Sakshi was jerked away from her thoughts by the sound of bell from the nearby temple. She wiped her tears and walked back to the apartment.
