CHAPTER 1:

Feeling someone tapping his shoulder he opened his eyes. A beautiful girl aged 23 was looming over his face. He smiled a flirty a smile and waited for her to say something. She seems to move her lips but he couldn't hear anything. He was about to ask her to repeat but then he remembered he had headphone on. Smiling a sheepish smile he pulled out the headphone.

Arjun: Care to repeat sweetheart?

The airhostess kept her measured smile.

Airhostess: Sir, the plane is about to land. Please fasten your seatbelt.

Arjun: Ohh.. Yeah. Thanks.

The airhostess waited for him patiently. She stayed there as he fastened the belt around his waist. After he finished she flashed him another measured smile and left.

The management must feed the airhostess some kind of patience pill before they get in board! The amount of patience they show it's unbelievable.

The plane land on time. After passing the immigration he went to the gate only to find his lady love standing there.

Wearing a dark navy blue shirt and tight black jeans she was leaning against the pillar. Her short curly hair was waving in the air. Her face was devoid of any make up. No ear rings or any bangles. Still she looked beautiful to him. She is very daring lady. They were in the academy when he first met her. She was two year junior to him. Her daring behavior was what attracted him towards her. After finishing academy he proposed her and they started dating. No one knows about their affair except Sakshi. But they had their reasons. They wanted to establish in their career.

He looked at her face. She had a tired look in her face. She must've come from office to pick him up. As soon her eyes fall on him her whole face lit up.

Without uttering another word he went to her and hugged her. A sigh of contentment passed through her lips. He really really loves her. After a few seconds he broke the hug and smiled..

Arjun: I love you Ayesha.

Ayesha Anand. The love of his life. Ammunition specialist of ETF (Emergency Task Force). Ayesha smiled.

Ayesha: I love you too Arjun.

Arjun Damn Sing Rathod cupped her cheeks with his right hand and caressed it. A beautiful smile appeared in her lips. She was about to say something when someone coughed from behind.

He turned around to see another beautiful girl stood there with arms crossed. She was wearing a sky blue color kurti with same color churidar. Silk sky blue color dupatta was flowing in the air with the dark thick curtains of her hair. She had a slight touch of make up with matching small ear rings. A big specs was on the perch of her nose. Dark brown eyes held a slight hint of kajal.

Sakshi Anand. Ayesha's younger sister. Ex- Crime investigative reporter and now Communication officer of ETF.

The very team he is going to join as 2^nd in command. The team leader is none other than his elder brother Sameer Damn Sing Rathod.

A slight nudge from Ayesha brought him back to the earth. He smiled at Sakshi but she remained unfazed. He never can understand this girl. A little geeky, simple and shy girl becomes hard like granite sometimes.

Arjun: Hi Sakshi! Kaisi ho?

Sakshi nodded her head.

Sakshi: Main thik hoom tum kaise ho?

Arjun: I am also fine.

Sakshi: Agar aap donoka ho gya to aab haam chale? We are getting late.

Together trio got into the taxi and it zoomed to the ETF headquarter...

A tap in the shoulder brought him to the present. He looked up to see a nurse standing there. He quickly got up from his seat.

Arjun: Koi news? Kaisi hai woh?

Nurse: Dekhye abhi haam kuch nehi keh sakte. Operation chal raha hai. Aur bhi kuch ghante lag jyenge. Yeh kuch medicines aur injections ke list hai. Please jalde se jald mangwa le jye.

Arjun nodded. He took the slip and went to a nearby shop. After buying medicines he remembered his team mates must be hungry. He went to another shop and brought some food for them.

Wasting another minute he went back to the hospital. He handed the medicines to the nurse and went to his team members. All of them were sitting there with worried look. He suppressed another sigh. He handed them the food. But none of them took a single bite.

Arjun: Guys please. Kuch kha lo. Agar bimad pad gye to Sakshi ka khyal rakhne ke lye koi nehi ruk pavoge. Please have the food.

That worked. They started eating. He went in front of the operation theatre and peeped through the glass. His Sakshi was lying there immobile. Some doctors were working furiously. She had an IV attached to her hand.

Suddenly he felt a soft hand over his shoulder. He turned and discovered Ayesha looking at Sakshi.

Ayesha: Jo ladki ek simple si needle dekhke dar jati thi aaj wohi padi hai hospital bed mein..

Arjun smiled a wry smile and shook his head.. Ayesha then took him by his hand and made him seat in a bench. She offered him some food. But when he refused she strictly ordered him to finish it. Like a good boy he ate his portion and again went back to the previous spot.

She looked at him melancholically. Somehow in this six months Arjun fallen in love with Sakshi. She smiled but her smile faded in the next instant. Angry shouts and a girl's pleading voice rang through her ear.

She wished she could change the past. So many bitter moments so many hatred. Her eyes fall on Sameer. He was looking straight at her. And those eyes told her that he understands.
