Ayesha quietly strolled about in the kitchen.. picking the utensils... then keeping it back...

Sameer's gaze followed her... he didn't want to make the mistake like Arjun.. but what if she rejects him?

"Tab bete usse patane main lag jao..." A voice said from behind..

Sameer jerked back to see Nani smiling at him...

"Aa..aap... mujhe koi baat samaj nahi aaya..." Sameer scratched his head...

"Toh apne Damaad se samjhaye kya..." Nani smirked...

"Aap gussa thi na uske upar..." Sameer said...

"Beta... tha toh zaroor... par ab nahi... joh darr tha woh nikal gaya... usske aankhon main main yahi pyaar saamne dekhna chahti thi... ab toh dono shayad kal se pehle kamre se nahi niklenge!" Nani chuckled...

Sameer turned red as the meaning dawned on him...

Nani shook her head negatively... "Sameer bete.. agar tum aise sharmaoge toh Ayesha ka kya hoga..." she sighed dramatically...

Sameer's eyes turned round... "Arrey Nani... kya keh ..." Nani raised a hand to stop him...

"Beta... yeh safed baal sirf tumhare Nanu ko dekh ke nahi hue..." she smiled...

Sameer sat down foolishly...

"Kya itna obvious hai..." he said softly...

"Tumhare aur Ayesha ke sevai sab logo ko pata chal chuka hai ki tum dono ek doosre se mohabbat karte ho..." she laughed...

Sameer looked away in embarrassment...

Nani sat next to him... "Dekho beta.. ab joh main kehne jaa rahi hoon dhyaan se suno... ladkiya pehle kadam nahi rakhti... not because she is not strong... but rather because of the fact that she wants to feel comforted... chote chote cheezein jo tumhari yeh nazre notice karte hai... zubaan pe bhi leke ao... she gives up her everything to be with you... kya bas tum khulke usse pyaar nahi kar sakte... aur Arjun ki tarha sirf pyaar karna nahi... par usse nibhaana... baatein karna... ek dusre ko jaan na... chahein jo bhi baat ho... uska haath pakad ke rakho... and the bigger thing... let her know that you have held her hand..." she fondly ruffled Sameer's hair...

"Chalo.. main kuch khaana tayyar karti hoon... lagta hai ki aaj mere chaar bachcho mere saath rahenge... aur na mat karna... ab jao jake chup chap beitho..." Nani smiled...

Sameer marveled at the way at one point the woman was jovial and at the next minute... sombre... truly...

"Aap sach main Sakshi ki hi Nani hai!" Sameer smiled...

Nani laughed and went to the kitchen to find Ayesha lost...

"Arrey Ayesha beti.. kya hua?" Nani asked as her experienced hands started making the special dal makhni for them..

"Kuch nahi Nani... kuch madat karoon?" Ayesha asked...

"Haan... woh atta aur cheese aur thoda sa tel...woh soch rahi hoon cheese pakoda banau..." Nani said and started boiling the dal...

Nani sat patiently on a stool next to the dal when Ayesha brought in the items... "Lo.. hmm cheese pakoda excellent Idea! Arrey Nani... dal ban chuki hai... aap stove band kar do..." Ayesha said...

"Nahi... abhi tak poora dhua nahi nikla main nahi nikaalne waali..." Nani said...

"Par Nani khushboo mehak rahi hai... agar dhua ke liye intezaar kare toh jal sakta hai dal..." Ayesha reasoned and then herself took the dal away...

"Par Ayesha kyun side main le liya? Maine toh dhua nahi dekhi..." Nani asked pouting...

Ayesha giggled "Nani... aap sach main Sakshi ki hi Nani hai! Aur rahi baat dak ki... sirf dhua dekh ke jaanch thori na kar sakte hai.. khushboo aur rang... isse bhi farak part hai na... humesha dhua ke liye intezaar karoge toh jal jayega dal!"

"Toh yehi baat zindagi main kyun nahi daalte?" Nani asked... wiping her glasses...

"Matlab?" Ayesha asked...

"Tum intezaar kar rahi ho ki woh kuch bole... tum woh khaas pal apne dimaag main nahi leti ki shayad woh unkahi baat keh chuka ho... agar zyaada intezaar kiya... toh dal jal sakta hai na... Sakshi jaisi ghalti kyun kar rahi ho? Arjun ke jealousy dekhne ke baad bhi pagli ko kuch samaj main nahi aayi...aur tum ho ke daal ke bare main kafi kuch jaante ho... par zindagi main woh chote chote signals miss kar deti ho... Just think about it..." Nani said softly and started baking the Naan's...

"Aap sach main Sakshi ki hi Nani hai..." Ayesha thought...

Ayesha walked into the garden confused...

And then she smiled.. "Kya baat hai Nani... dal se pura haal hi badal diya!" to see Sameer sitting on the bench...

He was looking at something on the phone... on seeing Ayesha he immediately put it aside...

"Umm.. main beithoon..." she asked...

"Sure!" Sameer smiled and let her sit next to him... and then his heart started a marathon...

And for Ayesha her heart hammered against her chest... "Nice weather..." she said...

"Idiot.. yehi baat aayi!" She scolded herself in her mind...

"Yup... bohot acha... actually Sakshi and Arjun should stay back idhar.. to complete their honeymoon..." Sameer chuckled and found Ayesha averting her eyes with the mention of honeymoon!

"Stupid! Bol... AYESHA I LOVE YOU!" His mind shouted at him...

"Fine!" he shouted out to see Ayesha staring at him... "Umm... woh actually I was thinking something... sorry..." he muttered...

"Sameer I have to tell you something..." Ayesha said... gathering up every courage she has...

"Wah yehi baki tha... arrey bol apne dil ke baat!" Sameer's mind berated him..

"Sameer tum dal ho..." Ayesha blurted out... what.. WHAT DAL!!!

" I mean sorry... matlab... oh sh*t.. tum kuch bolo.. don't be silent.. I am freaked out..." Ayesha said...

But Sameer shifted closer to Ayesha and gently tucked a strand of hair away... "Bolta toh zaroor par kya bolun... yeh hi ki jab meri daring cop main yeh feminity dikhti hai toh kuch hota hai... ki jab she is ready to face any wrath to make someone else realize their feeling toh kuch hota hai... ki jab woh apni coffee brown aankhein lege kisiko ghurti hai toh kuch hota hai.. ki jab she fumbles with her speech toh kuch hota hai... ki jab woh bewaja utt patang cheezein karti hai aur mujhe darr lagta hai... tab bhi kuch hota hai... kya bolun main Ayesha... kya..." he said softly...

Ayesha's eyes turned round... she turned her face aside to find her cheek cupped in his hand... the sincerity in his eyes melted every hesitation away... she didn't realize since when her own tears came out of her eyes...

She gently wrapped her hand around his... and nodded...

Sameer himself was astounded... he didn't realize what all he said and how... he pulled her into a hug and closed his eyes...

"Marry me Ayesha..." he said slowly...

Ayesha burst into tears of happiness... he pinched her little red nose now.. and that is when the mist slowly started dissipating...

Ayesha looked at the spark in his eyes.. she put her head up and kissed his slightly pink cheeks... "Samjho kya jawaab tha Sameer..." she said...

As the temperature dropped lower he gently touched his forehead on hers... she smiled and rubbed her nose against his... looking into their eyes they knew it... they had been royally foolish... his thumb slightly skimmed her soft cold lips... she closed her eyes... clutching on his jacket... and he dropped his warm mouth on hers... ecstasy.. was an understatement...

Chuppi Bhi Lage Ke Bhi Gazab Yeh Dhaye

When they parted... they looked at each other's eyes... breathing heavily... and then... the blush crept up to her cheeks... and his smile reached up to his eyes...

He locked his hand with hers... kissing her knuckles they both just sat next to each other... passing loving gazes every now and then...

"Waise Ayesha... the first day why were you civil with me?" Sameer asked out of the blue...

"Cause I saw you looking at me..." Ayesha smiled...

"It was sort of love in first sight for me... but then why did you smile at me..." Sameer asked...

Arjun gently parted and tucked away the tendrils from Sakshi's face... "Sakshi..." he murmured... kissing her forehead...

"Hmm..." she answered... snuggling close to his chest... an unknown feeling swelled in her heart... she needed nothing else...

He chinned her up and looked at her pretty eyes... the two of them still were not perfect... there might be moments of silence between them...there might be days where he would be angry...

But she would pull through no matter what... and he knew that... cause there was just one thing that both knew... the only thing that was in between them was their love...

"I know Arjun.. that maybe abhi tak saare cheezein settle nahi hue... but I will know that you lov.." Sakshi couldn't complete as she found his lips locked with hers... Sakshi's eyes momentarily closed and she clutched Arjun's hand...

Aaja chanda baaho mein tujhmein hi ghum hoi jaaun mai,

He parted for a few minutes and looked at her lips... still pouted... he chuckled slightly... cupping her cheek he said...

"I love you Sakshi... and we would pull through everything... ab aank kholke mujhe ek baar dekh bhi lo...itna sharmani ki kya baat hai... pati ne kiss kiya... koi aur toh nahi..." he smirked to find her eyes shot open and turn aside in the bed... showing fake anger...

Mera dil khushi se jhoome gaaye raatein.

Pal pal mujhe doobayein jaatein jaatein,

He gently wrapped his hands around her waist... she lovingly came back to his arms... "Tum zyaada der gussa nahi ho sakti mere saath na.." he said and gently caressed her cheeks... "Itna mushkil se toh paayi hoon... agar phirse chale jao.." her voice cracked... he closed his eyes in pain...

Tujhe jeet jeet haaron, yeh pran-pran waaru,

Haye aise main ni haru, teri aarti utaaru.

"Bharosa nahi hai Sakshi?" he asked.. his voice pained...

Tere naam se jude hai saare naate,

"Haalat pe nahi..." she sobbed out... it was his fault.. he always let the situations take care of them... never their love... cupping her cheeks he dropped a few feather kisses and claimed her mouth softly...

A soft cry broke open upon the contact of his warm lips... they gently fit themselves against her soft ones... her hands wrapped around his neck... she fisted his hair as he gently transferred wet kisses onto her neck... "Arjun..." she softly moaned as he sucked the sensitive area of her neck...

He looked into her eyes.. he had her bundled in his arms... her warm aura bounded him to her... and he swore to kill himself if he ever hurt this woman again...

He looked into her eyes which were full of need, love, want, anxiety and questions.. she shivered slightly as he tugged on her grey shirt...

Yeh naram-naram nasha hai badhta jaaye.

Koi pyaar se ghunghatiya deta uthaye,

He kissed her forehead.. before he could say anything to her she placed her fingers on his lips... she smiled but he kissed them and whispered.. "I want you to be the mother of my children Sakshi..." as he was going to say something further she sealed his lips with hers... tears overflowing her eyes... guess they didn't need anything else to convey... she slightly rose as his hands worked on her clothes... "I have loved, love and will always love you Arjun..." she whispered as he gently held her...

Ab baawara hua mann,

Jag ho gaya hai roshan,

Gradually he removed every barrier from them... not just physical.. but emotional as well... slowly he made himself a part of her... tears were shed... chaste kisses were shared...their hands ached to feel each other... her breath hitched every time she felt his light stubble on her bare skin as showered his love and passion for her... he slowly caressed the parting of her hair... where the auspicious vermillion lay... as if he gave her a promise... she wouldn't lie to say that she felt as if she were to be wedded again...

yeh nayi-nayi suhagan,

ho gayi hai teri jogan,

He gently whispered in a ragged breath "Hold on Sakshi..." and raised her hips to meet his...she couldn't stop but burst into tears of ecstasy and happiness whenever he claimed her as his own... each and every time he looked at her with an unfathomable amount of love in his dark orbs... for a second he didn't shut his eyes... he loved her throughout the night... redeeming for all he lost... she trembled and was on the verge of shattering... and that is when he would capture her safely in his arms... collecting her soul... and kissed her deeply in her heart... and she knew that she could never shatter under his love...

koi prem ki pujaran mandir sajaye.

Saiyaaan, Saiyaaa...

After hours he pulled her soft warm body next to his hard one... she buried her face into the crook of his neck as his hands tightened their grip around her bare skin... she shivered and trembled... it was too much for her in a single day... she was afraid that it might turn into a hallucination..
