CHAPTER 24:

Sahil waited for a while and then started following the cab Sameer took. He was following the cab keeping a distance. Sahil was sweating in tension. If he fails Malik will kill him for sure. Then his phone started buzzing. He checked the caller ID and picked up the call.

Sahil: Ha Boss bolye.

Boss: Kya khabar hai? Kaha hai tu?

Sahil: Boss main uss Sameer ke peeche hoom. Wahi chief of ETF.

Boss: Good. Laga reh usske peeche. Nak mein dam kar rakha tha yeh ETF walo ne. Aab bhuktega.

Sahil: Haan Boss.

Boss: Accha abhi phone rakh.

Sahil: Ji. Thik hai Boss.

Sahil cut the call and looked outside again. Suddenly two big trucks came in front of him. Blocking his view to Sameer's cab. Sahil slapped the steering wheel.

Sahil: Yeh kya ho gya? Aaj woh Rathod jinda nehi bachna chahye.

The trucks went ahead and cleared his view. He was about to speed up the car when suddenly Sameer's cab met an accident. It turned upside down and burst into flames. Sahil stopped his car at a safe distance and got down. He grinned then pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

Sahil: Haan Malik. Aapka kaam ho gya. Mujhe kuch karna bhi nehi pada. Uss Rathod ke cab ka accident ho gya. Aab to bechara barbecue ho raha hai aag mein.

Maik: Ek photo kheechke bhej. Main dekhna chahta hoom.

Sahil grinned but obeyed his command. He clicked a picture and send it to him.

In Hansagar palace Shekhar was dancing in joy. He was jumping and clapping his hands. He went before his son's picture and pulled out his phone. He open the image Sahil sends him and turned it his son's photo.

Shekhar: Dekh beta dekh. Kaise tere dushman jal rahe hai dekh. Pehle uss Sakshi Anand phir usski ma aab woh Sameer Damn Sing Rathod. Dhere dhere main tera badla le raha hoom. Ek ek karke sabko maar dalunga. Puri ki puri ETF ka namo nishan main meeta dunga. Wada kiya tha na tere baap ne tujhse? Dekh kaise tera baap tera badla pura kar raha hai dekh.

He turned around and saw a man standing near the door.

Shekhar: Tujhe kitni bar kaha hai ki aise bhoot ki tarah mat khara reh. Agar kuch kehna hai to darwaja khat khata.

Man: Maaf kar de Malik. Galti ho gya hai. Ainda aisa nehi hoga.

Shekhar: Hona bhi nehi chahye. Aab bol yaha kiyu aya.

Man: Malik TV pe news aa rahe hai. ETF chief Damn Sing Rathod ka lash mila hai. Jalke ekdam chote chote tukre bache hai sirf.

Shekhar let out an evil laugh.

Shekhar: Sabko bula. Jashn ki tyari kar. Mere sabse bade duhsman mein se ek gya. Aab bacha Rawte. Agar usse khatam kar dya to mera adhe se jyada badla pura ho jyega. Ja jake sabko bula aur jashn ki tyari kar. Aab woh din dur nehi jab main Rawte bhi lash banke apne biwi ke paas chala jyega. Aab woh Mumbai jarur aayega. Akhir dost tha. Dost ke maut ka khabar sunke jarur ayega. Tab haam usse bhi maar denge.

Man: Ji Malik. Aapne ekdam perfect plan banya hai. Par agar Sahil pakda gya to?

Shekhar: Pakda gya to hame kya? Bewkuuf. Isslye hi to hamne itne sare gang ko involve kya hai. Unse hi sare kaam karwa rahe hai. Agar pakda bhi gya to bhi koi problem nehi. Mujhse koi bhi link nehi milega. Aab bate bandh kar aur kam pe lag ja.

Man: Ji Malik.

He went away from there leaving Shekhar behind.

When everybody reached ETF it was half past twelve. All went to conference room and slumped in the chair. Aryan and Chotu pulled off their false beard and mustache. Aisha and Shree pulled out their wigs. Seeing them Liza rushed to them who had been waiting for them.

Liza: Guys sab kuch thik thak se hua na?

Aryan: Don't worry Liza. Everything is fine.

Liza let out a sigh she was holding for so long.

Liza: Tum sab thik to ho na?

Chotu: Haan. Haam sab thik hai but Shree ko thoda chot lag gya hai.

Liza went to him and sat beside him. Shree had several cuts in places. Without wasting another time Liza took the bottle of savlon and band aid box. She cleaned his wounds and put ointment. Shree flinched. Man it hurts. In between he looked at Liza. She had tears in her eyes. Shree because confused. Why she was crying? Why his wounds were hurting her? And why the hell her tears were bothering him?

Karan entered the garage and sat in the chair with a thud. Simran, Piyali and Angali were waiting for him.

Simran: Karan tumhe pata hai kya hua?

Karan: Kya? Tujhe finally koi film mein chance mil gyi? Ya phir tu phirse reject ho gyi?

Simran: Tum kabhi bhi meri koi bhi bat ko seriously nehi lete.

Karan: Tune aajtak kabhi koi serious bat ki to lunga na!!

Piyali: Karan baat wakeh mein bohoti important hai.

Now it caught Karan's attention. He sat up straight on the chair.

Karan: Kya hua?

Instead of replying Angali went near the TV and opened it. She tuned to a news channel and stepped aside.

Abhi thodi hi der pehle Mumbai-Pune highway pe ek cab ka accidnet hua hai. Pura cab buri tarahse jal chuka hai. Andar do lashe mili ai. ID se pata chala hai ki ek lash driver ka tha and dusra lash ETF chief Sameer Damn Sing Rathod ka. Wohi Sameer Damn Sing Rathod jinhone apne 28 saal ki umar mein 37 cases successfully solve kar cuke hai. Unki kamyabi ki dastan bohoti lamba hai. Unki bheerta ki kahani logoke muh mein phirte hai. Woh iss deshke sabse brave aur honest police officers mein se ek hai. ETF members' se bat karne ki koushish ki ja rahe hai but koi contact nehi ho pa raha hai. Unki family members' se bhi kisise contact nehi ho paya. Bas kuch hi din pehle unki cousin Sakshi Anand ki bhi mout ho gyi. Kya yeh koi ittefaq hai? Yeah hai koi bohot bade sajish ka ek hissa. Kya koi family duhsmani se yeh kya gya hai yah koi puri ki puri ETF ko hi khatam kar dena chata hai. Sawal bohot hai. Par jwab dene wala koi nehi.

Karan switched the TV off and leaned back to his seat. He closed his eyes and sighed.

Arjun and Rafi were watching the news with a frown. Sakshi was working in the kitchen. She was humming balam pichkari under her breath. She looked so happy. Arjun didn't want to ruin it so he switched off the TV.

Rafi: Aab kya?

Arjun: Aab sirf intejar.

Well I know very well that our chief cannot die easily so I love this twist which u have unfolded like the caring n concern side of Liza towards shree and imagine sakshi humming balam phichkari before Arjuna if he is calm listening this news of Sam,s death then it may be his plan
