CHAPTER 23:
Sakshi kept staring at him with awe. She never knew if anyone can beat her into talking. And did he say Rafi? She heard the name from Arjun's mouth once. Seeing her quite Rafi got anxious. He peered into the room above her head in search of his buddy. What if Sakshi doesn't allow him to get in? What if she refused to give him something to eat? He was starving. Just when he was about to start his blabbering again Sakshi moved from the door and speak up.
Sakshi: Andar aye. Main breakfast banane hi wali thi.
Phew. Rafi sighed in relief. At least she didn't shoo him off from the door!!
Once inside Sakshi showed him the living room and told him to seat there and went to the kitchen. Sakshi went to the freeze and was about to bring out vegetables when Rafi spoke up from behind.
Rafi: Bhabi kuch biscuits milega? Bohot bhook lagi hai.
Sakshi jumped from her place.
Rafi: Bhabi maine aapko dara dya?
Sakshi turned around.
Sakshi: Nehi nehi. Woh bas chouk gyi thi.
She brought out a packet of Oreo and handed it to him. She was about to warm up the milk when Rafi stopped her.
Rafi: Bhabi thanda dodh hi de dijye. Garam karne ki jarurat nehi.
Just then Sakshi understood the he really was very hungry. Sakshi's heart wrenched. For some unknown reason she felt a motherly affection towards him.
Sakshi: Aap khana suru kijye. Dodh garam hone mein bas do minutes lagenge.
Rafi nodded. He liked his bhabi very much.
Rafi (in mind): Wah Arjun. Tu wahke mein bohot lucky hai. Aur main lucky hoom aisi bhabi pakar. Sach mein. Bilkul Ammi ki tarah mera khyal rakh rahi hai.
After warming up the milk Sakshi poured it in a glass and handed over the glass to him. After that she became busy with making breakfast as she knew Arjun will be up any moment.
Arjun slowly woke up from deep slumber. He fumbled his fingers around him but found none. He smiled.
Arjun (to himself): Jaror uth gyi hogi. Aur aab khana bana rahi hogi.
He got up from the bed and went to bathroom. After finishing his chores he came out. He was about to comb his hair when he heard some muffled voice coming from kitchen. He frowned. Who is this Sakshi talking with? He came out from his room and went to the kitchen. The scene inside the kitchen amazed him.
Sakshi was making paratha with some chatni and roast. And Rafi was eating burning hot food without hesitation. He was eating like he had been starved for years.
Sakshi was watching Rafi eat with amusement. She never saw anybody eating at this speed. Not even Chotu. Just then her eyes fall on Arjun who was watching Rafi with arms crossed over his chest. But he had a small smile in his lips. Feeling her gaze on him he turned his eyes towards her. His eyes wander over her whole body. She blushed under his heated gaze. She averted her eyes and became busy with works.
Arjun came near Rafi and slapped on his back lightly.
Arjun: Kya bat hai Rafi? Atehi meri biwi ko kaam pe laga dya?
Rafi: Bohot bhook laga tha. Isslye.
At least that's what he wanted to say. But due to mouth full of food it sounded like bowa bowa bowa.
Arjun: Oye pehle muh ka khana khtam kar le. Phir bol.
He went near the kitchen counter and Sakshi gave him paratha with chatni and roast.
He sat on a stool and started eating.
Arjun: Sakshi tumne khaya.
Sakshi nodded no.
Rafi: Shawhar mia ne nehi khaya. To Biwi ke gale se kaise khana utarega?
Arjun: Rafi agar tune aapna muh bandh nehi kya na to ek aur paratha bhi tujhe nehi milega.
Rafi pouted like a little boy but decided to stay quite. His mouth was itching to pass comment when he saw Arjun feeding Sakshi. But remembering his threat he stayed quite. He silently prayed to the Almighty to keep the couple in front of happy always.

Sameer was sleeping peacefully hugging his pillow. He was seeing a beautiful dream. In dream there was Aisha in the place of the pillow. They were about to kiss when his mobile rang. He decided to ignore it and kept staring at his Aisha. Then slowly he claimed her full pink lips. But wait!!! Why the hell it tasted like cloth? Just then his phone rang again. He opened his eyes and found himself face to face with the side pillow. A certain place was wet due to his kiss. Yack!!!! He sat up in the bed with a jerk and threw the pillow aside.
He took the phone and checked the caller ID. It was from Aisha. He picked up the call.
Sameer: Hhhello.
Aisha: Hello sir. Sir you all right?
Sameer: No. Woh pillow abhi abhi mera ijjat lutne wala tha. Thank God ki tumne sahi time pe call kya.
Aisha: What!!!!!!! Sir yeh aap kya keh rahe hai?
Realizing his mistake Sameer slapped his forhead.
Sameer: Woh woh kuch bhi to nehi. Tum batao itni subah subah call kiyu kya?
Aisha: Aapne kal hi kaha tha ki aaj aapko jaruri kamse kahi jana hai. To socha ki aapko call kark jaga du.
Sameer: Thank u Aisha.
Aisha: Issme thank you ki kya jarorat hai? Okay sir. Aab mein phone rakhti hoom. Mujhe office ke lye bhi nikalna hai.
Sameer: Okay. Aur maine jo kaha usska khayal rakhna. Bhale hi office ki sare jimmedari aab Aryan ke hatho mein hai but tum mere tarafse sari cheezon pe kari najar rakhogi.
Aisha: Right sir. Bye and take care.
Sameer: Bye. You take care of yourself too.
Sameer cut the call and rubbed the palm over his face. God Aisha must be thinking him as an idiot.
He chuckled under his breath and went to the bathroom. After coming out he got ready and took the phone. He checked it once. Six missed calls from Arjun. He frowned. Now what?
Sameer: Rawana to ho hi raha hoom to call back karke kya karo?
After sometime he went out from his apartment and took a cab. A pair of eyes was watching him from a distance. Seeing him taking cab he frowned. He dialed a number.
Man: Malik woh ACP Rathod nikal chuka hai. Par ussne apna gadi nehi lya.
Malik: Gadi nehi lya ka kya matlab!!
Man gulped down his saliva.
Man: Malik ussne ek cab pakda hai.
Malik: Dekh Sahil tu mujhe ullu to nehi bana raha na!! Kahi tu uss ETF ke lye to kaam nehi kar raha na!!
Sahil: Nehi Malik. Yeh aap kaisi bate kar rahe hai. Haam bhala aisa kiyu karenge?
Malik: Good. Kiyuki agar tune mere peeth pe choda marne koushish bhi ki to tu khud iss dunya se hi gyab ho jyega.
Sahil: Pata hai Malik. Aap fikar maat kijye.
Malik: Ja aur jakar uss ACP ka cab ka peecha kar. Woh jinda nehi bachna chahye.
