Part 2: Start of something Good

Dj vu.

That is exactly the word I WOULD use to describe my day today. I mean the most random thing happened in the school's hallway today. I am still questioning myself, if it is real or a hallucination.

It started as a normal day. I reached school a bit late than usual. I was walking in hurry frequently looking at my watch to see if I was going to be late for class.

This came out of nowhere but I collided with someone really hard. I lost my balance and closed my eyes waiting to hit the floor and the pain to come.

But after a few seconds I realized I wasn't on the floor. In fact a pair of hands were around my waist holding me tight. I slowly opened my eyes and his face was there.

Him...I mean the guy from yesterday's testing who was smiling at me. My heart did a summersault seeing him so close.

History was repeating itself. It was another one of those Bollywood scene jab Hero and Heroine kareeb hota hai. This is exactly what happened with me.

Oh my Sweet Lord! I think...I might faint of this intimate closeness. Too much for a balanced gurl like me to handle man!

Meri khamoshi se baatein chun lena

Unki dori se taarifein bun lena (x2)

Kal nahi thi jo aaj lagti hoon

Taareef meri hai khaamakha

Tohfa hai tera meri adaa

But I couldn't look away. I don't know how many minutes was it after he finally said something.

"Good morning to you as well."

Wow he had a deep but husky voice. Very impressive! What? Impressive? Riya what is wring with you? He is not trying to impress you. Or is he?

"Uhh...Good morning."

"Umm...are we gonna stay like this the whole day. I mean I don't mind!" he said with naughtiness in his voice.

I realized the awkward position we were in and quickly got up saying, "Sorry."

My books were on the floor because of this collision I bend down to pick them up. Surprisingly he did too. Huf! I know these tricks! Trying to be a gentleman and all. That's what the "not-so-cool" boys do in 10^th Grade. Then they start flirting. I know the drill but I am not like those "Oh! I am flattered by your flirting skills" or "Omg! You have abs! I am totally dating you" types girls. You are gonna have to try a lot harder than that Mr!

"It's okay. I'll do it myself." I said with a firm tone.

"Not it's fine! It was my fault I should have watched where I was going. I am sorry," he said with a genuine tone in his voice.

That made me look up to find a "I-am-sorry" expression on his face. He was looking like a small child right now. He really did look adorable. And Before I could hold myself I giggled a little.

"What?...Why are you laughing?"

"Ummm...it's nothing. I just remembered a joke," I lied to his face. I feel bad already.

"What was the joke? Mujhe bhi sunao na!"

Oh Shoot! Now what do I do? Uhhh...Riya think of something quickly warna teri lag ne wali hai.

"Umm...I am getting late for class. I should go. Thanks. Bye," I quickly picked up all my books, turned around and started walking towards my class.

I didn't realize that I had started running. As I entered my class I quickly sat on my seat, opened up a book to take notes and there I saw a note and said,

Tumhari smile kitne dangerous hai pata hai?

Reading that note made me smile. And I may have blushed as well. OH Lord! What is happening to me? Ye Ranbir Kapoor ka dialogue kyun mara? Matlab iss story mein he is...wait Mr. A is Ranbir kapoor and I am Deepika Padukone. Hmm...but I am not a chashmish. Oh well it still works.
