CHAPTER 8:

Sakshi woke up at the sound of phone ringing. She sleepily pick up the phone and press recive button.

Sakshi: Hallo.

Other person: Hallo.

Sakshi sat up in the bed with jolt. Crap!! It's Buasa.

Sakshi: Namaste Buasa. Kaise hai aap?

Buasa: Haam thik hai. Aap kaisi hai?

Sakshi: Haam acche hai. Fufasa kaise hai? Aur Shruti (Sameer's little sister. This role will be played by Shritama Mukharjee aka Rajkumari Jaynandini from DEK)?

Buasa: Saab thik hai. Dekhiye beta aap Sameer ke bohot kareeb hai. Unhe aapse jiyada acchese koi nehi janta. Issliye haam aapko ek daitta (duty) swpna chahte hai.

Sakshi was a little taken aback by Buasa's talk.

Sakshi: Kaisa daitta Buasa?

Buasa took a deep breath to compose her words.

Buasa: Dekhiye Sameer ka shadi ka umar ho chuka hai. Haam chahte hai ki woh apni life mein settle ho jaye. Likin jab bhi haam shadi ke bare mein kuch kehte hai toh woh hamesha baat ko taal dete hai. Issliye haam chahte hai ki aap jara pata kare ki unke dil mein kya hai. Unki koi niji pasand ya affair. Woh khud toh aake hame batayenge nehi.

Sakshi's detective mind had started working already. Hmmm. Could it be the beautiful receptionist? Or that girl they met during a case? Or could it be the culprit they captured few days ago? She was qute beautiful. What if he is a gay?? Buasa's voice brought her back to the reality.

Buasa: Kya baat hai? Aap kaha kho gyi?

Sakshi: Nehi Buasa. Haam yehi hai.

Buasa: Toh karengi aap hamare madad?

Sakshi: Of course Buasa. Aap fikar maat kijiye. Haam jaldi hi dhund nikalenge.

Buasa: Thik hai. But dhyan rahe yeh baat Sameer ko pata nehi hona chahiye. Sakshi: Ok. Don't worry. Usse kuch bhi pata nehi chalega.

Buasa: Aab haam phone rakhte hai. Aap apna dhyan rakhiyega.

Sakshi: Aap bhi.

Buasa: Ok.

Saying that Mrs. Mohini Sing Rathod cut the call and turned to face Bhabo.

Mrs. Rathod: Lijiye Bhabo. Aapka kaam ho gya. Paata hai main aapko samajh nehi paati. Kuch din pehle aapne Bhabisa ko dekar Sameer ko call karwayi aur yeh kehalwayi ki woh Sakshi ki dil ki khabar janke unhe bataye. Aab mujhse Sakshi ko call karwayi aur yeh kehalwayi ki woh Sameer ki dil ki khabar janke haame bataye. Yeh aap dono bhai behen ko ek dusre par spying kiyu karwa rahe hai? Aap ki soch toh hamare samajh ke bahar hai.

Bhabo smiled.

Bhabo: Issliye haam apki Ma hai.

Mrs. Rathod just shook her head..

Eventually Sakshi reached office. Whole way she kept her head running with various plans. How to bring the cat out of bag? Today she dressed in sleeveless black kamiz with black geans. The dress hugged her slender body tightly. Everybody were watching her. She got down from the auto and went to elevator. She pressed button four and stood still. Elevator was quite empty except one man dreesed in white shirt and blue geans. His face wasn't visible. Sakshi didn't spare him a second glance towards him. But seeing him her mind went back to her Arjun. She sighed and touched the ring that is now hunged in a chain around her neck. Suddenly a pair of arms hugged her from behind. Sakshi was about to scream when she heard a familiar voice.

Voice: Good morning Miss Publicist.

Sakshi: Arjun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arjun chuckled. He made Sakshi turned toward him.

Arjun: Ha main.

Sakshi: Tum yaha?

Arjun: Tumhe dekhne ka maan kar raha tha. Tumhare ghar gyi toh dekha tum auto pe baith chuki thi. Toh socha yaha ake tumhe surprize de doom. Par aaj yeh tumne kya pehna hai.

He gave Sakshi a detailed look. Sakshi blushed.

Sakshi: Woh kya hai na ki main aaj ek mission haat mein leke ayi hoom. Issliye spy dress pehenke ayi hoom.

Arjun controlled his laugh by great difficulty.

Arjun: Accha? Kaisa mission?

Sakshi: Top secret. Nehi baata sakhti.

Arjun was about to say something but then the elevator stopped and the door opened. Arjun pressed the close button and preesed for 7th floor means terrace.

They reached the terrace. Arjun pulled Sakshi in a tight hug. Sakshi's hand went to his neck. She laughed nervously.

Sakshi: Kya baat hai Arjun? Aaj itna pyar kiyu de rahe ho?

Arjun: Isski adat dal lo Miss Publicist. Yeh to bohot kaam hai jab main tumhe officially apna banaunga tab isse kahi jiyada pyar dunga.

Sakshi blushed and lower her gaze. Arjun pulled her chin up and kissed her lips. His hands were aching to touch her. To feel her soft body curves. But he restrained herself. She was dressed to kill. He was having a hard time to control himself. If he touch her now he would lose control completely. So he tried to be happy in a single kiss. After some time he reluctantly parted from her.

Arjun: Tumhare liye kuch laya hoom.

Sakshi looked at him enquirily.

Arjun pulled a packet from a shoping bag that was in his hand and opened it. Inside was a small heart shapped chocolate cake. Sakshi got tears in her eyes. Once there was a time she thought Arjun will never love her back but now seeing his love gestures she felt like she got heaven in earth. As if sensing her mind Arjun wiped away the tears and kissed softly on her lips.

Arjun: I am just yours Sakshi. As you are mine. Never doubt that.

Sakshi just nodded. Arjun smiled and feed the cake. Sakshi also feed him. After eating Arjun kissed her again and bid goodbye. After Arjun leave Sakshi went down to office.
