Chapter 19:
Arjun woke up at the sound of muffled voice. He looked at the bedside watch. It was 8:00AM. He got up from bed and went to bathroom to freshen up. When he came out he saw Sameer waiting for him. He looked at him enquiringly.
Sameer: Woh ek ladki ayi hai. Naam hai Sunaina. Tujhe dhund rahi hai.
Arjun: Kiyu?
Sameer: Patha nehi. Bohot pucha likin kehti hai ki sirf tujhe hi batayegi.
Arjun scowled. Who could it be? He didn't know anybody named Sunaina. He went to the drawing room. All other were already there. A girl wearing plain ghagracholi sitting at the sofa. She looked like a typical housewife. Seeing him she got up.
Sunaina: ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte?
Arjun: Haan. Main hi hoom. Aap kaun?
Sunaina: Main iss gao ka sarpanch ki bahu hoom. Unka chota beta Thakur Dev Pratap ki patni. Mujhe Sakshi ne bheja hai.
This shook Arjun. He went to the girl and stood infront of her.
Arjun: Aapko patha hai woh kaha hai? Kaisi hai? Plz mujhe batiye na? Plz.
Sunaina: Filhaal woh thik hai par...
Arjun: Par?
Sunaina (sighed): Par agar aap logone jaldi kuch nehi kiya toh baby ki jaan chali jayegi.
Arjun was taken aback. Baby!! Seeing his bewildered expression Sunaina sighed again.
Sunaina: Sakshi maa banne wali hai.
Aisha: Par tumhe kaise patha. I mean..
Sunaina: Haam gaoke ladki hai. Gao mein pale bade hai. Kisi ko dekh kar haam batha sakhte. Aur kaal raat ko meri sasu maa ne Shangkari taayi se bhi Sakshi ki jaach karwai. Woh kabhi galat nehi hote. Mere pati Sakshi se shadi karna chahte hai issliye ussne baccha giraneka sara intejam kar liya hai. Aaj raat ko..
Sunaina couldn't finish her sentence. Arjun gripped her arms and shook her badly.
Arjun: NO NO NO. Aisa nehi ho sakhta. Suna tumne. Main aisa hone nehi dunga. Meri Sakshi aur bacche ko kuch nehi hoga.
Arjun left Sunaina and went to Sameer. Tears were rolling from his eyes but he didn't care.
Arjun: Sam plz. Mera baccha. Sam. Mera baccha.
Everybody got tears in their eyes. They shudder at the very thought of destroying the unborn child. Sameer place a hand on Arjun's shoulder.
Sameer: Tu phikar maath kar. Kuch nehi hoga unhe. Aab waqt aa geya hai. Tu usse call kar aur yaha bula. Haam saab sath mein milkar koi plan dhund nikalenge.
Half an hour later-
A handsome guy walked in drawingroom. Riya became shell shocked to see him there. He was no other but her Mr. Mystirous. Wait did she said her? What the hell? When he became hers? Sameer went to him and hugged him. Then he went to Arjun and pulled him in a giant hug. Sameer turned to others.
Sameer: Guys he is ACP Karan Purohit. Hamare ETF ka neya member. Waise toh kuch din pehle hi join karne wale the but iss case ko solve karne ke liye usse 3din pehle hi bhes badal kar yaha ana pada..(turning to Karan)..Bakiyo se toh tum Arjun ke shadi pe mil chuke ho baas yeh Riya hai. Aur ek member hai Jai jo filhaal sheher geya hua hai. Aab haame jald se jald kuch sujhna hoga. Sakshi maa banne wali hai. Hame aaj raat se pehle waha se Sakshi ko bahar nikalna hoga.
They discussed everything single thing. Sunaina joined them. Sunaina was a well educated and clever gir. In last six months she didn't seat idle. She collected so many evidence against that trio that only few of them was enough to send them behind the bars. Though any operation wasn't needed Arjun wanted to taught them a lesson. How dare Dev look at his Sakshi like that? How dare they even think about destroying their baby? Arjun closed his eyes and open again.
Arjun: Team let's move..
In Haveeli-
Dev with his maa and baba were sitting in the drawingroom. Chatting, eating snacks.
Ramla: Aaj raat ko Shangkari taayi usse dawa de degi aur kal haam shadi karwa denge.
Rajan: Haan. Par iss shadi ke bare mein kuch dino taak kisi ko bhi patha nehi chalna chahiye. Agar ETF waloko patha chal geya toh keya patha ussi halat mein usse le jayenge.
Ramla: Arre yeh Sunaina maharani kaha geyi? Sunaiana.
Sunaina came running.
Sunaina: Ji masa..
Ramla: Uss ladki ko khana khilaya?
Sunaina: Ji masa.
Dev: Teri hone wali sout hai woh samjhi? Acche se kheyal rakhna. Agar kuch bhi ulta sidha kiyana toh zinda gar dunga. Samjhi?
Sunaina just nodded. Suddenly a voice boomed from the door.
Voice: Jai Sheev Shamvuu..
They all turned to see two scary looking Sadhu standing at the door. They were very superstious. They all melted to see the Sadhu. They all joined their palm and went to the door to receive them.
Rajan: Ayie baba ayie. Brajiye.
1st Sadhu: Jai Sheev Shamvuu.
2nd Sadhu: Guruji mujhe kuch kuch lag raha hai.
1st Sadhu: Haan. Iss ghar mein ek ashubh chaya hai.
They became very scared to hear this. They took the babas inside and gather around them.
Ramla: Ashubh chaya!! Baba kuch kijiye baba. Haame bachaiye.
Rajan: Ha baba. Haame iss Ashubh chaya se bachayie.
1st Sadhu signaled to the 2nd one.
1st Sadhu (pointing at Sunaina): A ladki mujhe iss haveeli ka ek ek kona dekhna hai. Tu dikha mujhe. Aur baaki saab yaha rahe. Koi bhi iss kamre se bahar na jaye.
2nd Sadhu made a circle with salt and made Rajan, Ramla and Dev stand inside it.
Sunaina took 1st Sadhu straight to Sakshi's room.
Sakshi was sitting in the bed hugging her knees and thinking about Arjun and her baby when she heard the door opening. First she thought that it's Sunaina but became suspicious to see a Sadhu. Sadhubaba came inside and closed the door. Sakshi became scared. Why did he lock the door? Who is he?
Sadhu: Sundar. Ati sundar. Maja ayega.
Sakshi: Koun ho tum aur keya chahte hoom.
Sadhubaba started to move towards her while she started to move back.
Sadhubaba: Itna darr kiyu rahi hai. Baas thoda payar hi toh dunga.
Sakshi: Khabardar jo mujhe chune ki koushish bhi ki toh.
Sadhubaba: Kiyu? Koi mandir hai tu?
Sakshi: Yes. My body is his temple. Mujhe sirf mere Arjun hi chu sakhta hai. Yeh sharir uska mandir hai.
Sadhubaba (now in normal tone): Toh phir mujhse bhaag kiyu rahi ho candy?
Sakshi (whispering): Arjun!!
Arjun laughed. Sakshi climed down from the bed and ran to his arms. She couldn't hold back and started crying. Arjun hugged her tightly.
Arjun: Tum sach mein mujhe nehi pehchana? Buddhi kahika.
Sakshi (between sobs): Mujhe patha tha tum aaoge. Mujhe patha tha.
Arjun hold up her chin and sealed her lips with his. But Sakshi pushed him.
Sakshi: Arjun mujhe tumhe kuch baathana hai.
Arjun placed a hand on her tummy.
Arjun: Haamare bacche ke bare me na? Sunaina ne mujhe baathaya. Sakshi mein bohot khush hoom. Haamari family pura hone ja raha hai. Aisa lag raha hai ki khushi ke mare pagal ho javuunga.
Sakshi laughed and hugged him again. Arjun parted from her.
Arjun (in a urgent tone): Sakshi bahar Sunaina khadi hai. Woh tumhe bahar taak chod ayegi. Tum Liza ke sath rest house wapas chali jana.
Sakshi: Aur tum?
Arjun (smilling evilly): Main aise kaise? Abhi toh mujhe unlogo ko unke hi dawai test karwana hai.
