Shree: haan... uska naam "Sam___" ... (stops before completing the name, shocked at the thought that the person named Sameer, referred in Ashima's diary, is actually his boss, ETF chief Sameer Rathod))

Arjun: Sameer... Sameer Rathod... wohi hai... jo tab bhi ussey pyar karta tha aur aaj bhi karta hai... aur usko aaj tak bhool nahi paya hai... aur usi ki khatir aaj tak usney shadi bhi nahi ki... kisi aur ladki ko wo us nazar se dekh hi nahi paya... uski aankhon mein sirf ek chehra tha... Shree's senses went numb for few seconds. It took him some time to accept the situation. Everything he had read about Sameer in Ashima's diary, he tried to relate with Sameer. He was touched to see Sameer caring for Ashima even after she left him and Sameer's undying love for her. Tears welled up in his eyes. He felt a bit happy imagining the happy life that she could have lived if she had married Sameer but next moment it hurt him remembering the torture that Ashima had to bear.
Arjun puts him palm on Shree's shoulders and he is snapped out from his thoughts.
Arjun: tumne kal sahi kaha tha Shree... Ashima bahut khush rehti agar wo Sameer ko chunti to ...
Shree barely managed to nod his head and looked again at Sameer and Ashima.

A Little while back.
Sameer saw Ashima lying on the bed. She was in deep sleep. He went close to her sitting on a chair next to her and held her hand.
He felt like gathering her in his arms, talk to her but her silence was hurting him. He sat there gliding his fingers in her hair. All his memories and good times spent with Ashima flashed in front of his eyes.

He remembered when he saw Ashima for the first time.
Flashback begins*
He was doing his regular work out in the morning in his balcony when he saw her. She was putting a dupatta for drying on a rope in her balcony. He kept looking at her. She was just out of bath and her wet hair were draped in the towel. After putting clothes for drying she removed the towel from hair and started wiping hair. That is when she happened to look at him and found him staring at her. She felt awkward. She turned back and stormed inside her house banging the door behind her.
Sameer's gaze followed her till she went inside and he was snapped out with the banging of the door. That's when he realised that his wrists are paining because he was holding 5 Kgs Dumbbells in his hands. He winced in pain and kept the dumbbells aside and went inside wearing his shirt scolding himself mentally.

Sameer remebered the happy moments spent with her.
Flashback begins*
Scene 1: Sameer jogging in the garden outside their building. Ashima was stealing glances at him from the window of her room and Sameer slowed down and happened to look at the window. Their eyes met and both were embarrassed. Ashima hid behind the curtain and Sameer moved ahead ruffling his hair.
Scene 2: Sameer and Arjun were back from Duty and Ashima was back from her college and they enter in the lift together. When they reach their floor and lift door opened, Sameer and Ashima tried to leave the lift together and collide. They are embarrassed and move aside giving each other way asking each other to leave first. Arjun is frustrated and he moves forward pushing Sameer towards Ashima leaving the lift. Sameer and Ashima collide again and are shocked at this sudden attack.
They balance themselves and Sameer glares at Arjun and finds him smirking and saying a sorry in a teasing manner. The lift door was again going to be closed and Ashima panics but Sameer pushes the button to open the door again and gives way to Ashima to go out. Ashima quickly sprints towards her flat, opens the door and quickly gets in. Sameer slowly follows and finds Arjun whistling and waitng for Sameer to open the door as Sameer had the keys. Sameer lightly punched Arjun and moved ahaed followed by Arjun wincing in pain.
Scene 3: Ashima had got Gajar ka Halwa for Sameer and Arjun. Sameer was about to put a spoonful Halwa in his mouth when Arjun comes in between holding Sameer's hand pull the spoon and puts it in his mouth. Sameer is mad at Arjun and they are running around Ashima and Ashima trying to calm them down.
Scene 4: Sameer and Ashima having coffee together on the terrace of their building. Sameer is lost looking at her as she was telling him about her college fun.

He felt tears welling up in his eyes. He let them flow. He felt a sense of relief finding her close to him. He vowed that he will find out everything that happened after their separation and will not leave anyone who was responsible for her condition. He promised himself that now he will not let her go away from him at any cost and under any circumstances.
He didn't know how long he sat like that.
Suddenly he turned and happened to look at Shree who was looking at him helplessly with teary eyes.
He got up and moved towards Shree and put his hand on his shoulder. Shree burst into crying hugging Sameer. Sameer patted Shree's back trying to calm him down.
The silence in the room was broken by Sameer's voice.
Sameer: Nahi Shree... ab aur nahi... bahut ro liya tumne aur bahut seh liya Ashima ne ... (he parted from Shree, wiped his tears) ... Ab mai aa gaya hoon na ... Bharosa rakho... Ashima bilkul theek ho jayegi ... Mai hoon na... Trust me
Shree was happy to have Sameer with him.
Sameer: Rawte! Shree ko ghar le jao ... mai thodi der Ashima k paas rukta hoon
Shree: Koi faayda nahi sir... abhi aapke aane pehle hi Di ko injection diya hoga ... wo 3-4 ghante aur nahi uthengi... fir shaam ko unka therapy session hoga, uske baad dinner aur dinner k baad wo fir so jayengi... aur wo kisi ko pehchanti bhi nahi hain ... to yaha rukne ka koi matlab nahi hai ... aap bhi chaliye ... please... yaha ruk ke aapko bhi takleef hi hogi ...
Sameer looks at Ashima once and nods in agreement to Shree. They move out and talk to the doctor for a while who assures them again that Ashima is improving and a specialist doctor will be visiting soon. Later they leave for Sameer's place.

Daadu welcomes Shree with open arms and gestures him blinking his eyes to come and hug him. Shree couldnt hold himself and hugs Daadu and again bursts into crying. Daadu calms him down.
Daadu: Hey... mera partner ... aise bachchon ki tarah ro raha hai ... no... you are a brave boy ... abhi to humein kitne saarey records todne hain ... come on ... aansu poonchho...
They part the hug and Shree wipes his tears. Aisha comes from behind and ruffles Shree's hair and gives him a warm smile and hugs him.
Shree was feeling at home here. He had found a family in Sameer, Arjun, Daadu and Aisha.
To distract him Daadu forces him for a fighting game on their gaming console and they get busy with their game. Shree happily enjoys the game.
Sameer feels happy looking at Shree who was smiling again.

Ashima woke up from her injections induced sleep. But she felt a bit different today. There was something which she couldn't point out. Something unusual yet familiar. She took a deep breath and realised the difference was in the air around her, the fragrance around her. It didnt smell like hospital and medicines. It was a fragrance of a perfume that lingered in the room. The perfume... she felt she had smelt it before... but where? Was it like the one that HE used? No... indeed it was the same perfume.
She got up with a jerk and sat up in the bed as she thought of him and his smiling face flashed in front of her eyes. She was lost in thoughts
Ashima(thinking): Did he come here? No... that's not possible... wo yahan kaise aa sakta hai? mere sheher chhodne k baad hum kabhi nahi mile... usko nahi pata ki mai kahan hoon (She felt a slight pain in her head thinking about herself. She jerked her neck to get rid of this pain and his thoughts)
A nurse comes and takes her to washroom to help her freshen up for the evening and after that she is taken to the therapy room.
She responded well in the therapy room, or rather she had something to think about so her mind was busy. She was not blank as always.
She felt like talking and asking something to the doctor but she felt as if her tongue was frozen. Se couldn't find words to speak. Doctor noticed this and made a note of all this in her health report. Doctor was happy with her progress. After a while, he told a nurse to take her back to the room. Doctor decided not to give her sedatives that night and observe the changes in her body. He prescribed the sedatives to be given only in the extreme condition, that is if she was extremely restless or violent.
While she was out for therapy, a cleaning staff member came for cleaning the room and the room now smelled of phenyl that was used for cleaning and it supressed the previous fragrance.
Ashima came back to her room and noticed the smell of phenyl. She thought the previous fragrance was some kind of hallucination. It never existed.
The nurse helped her to settle in bed and and got dinner for her. After dinner nurse gave her other medicines and informed her that no injection was to be given that night. She responded to it with a nod. Nurse noted this in her report file.
She lied down on her bed thinking about today's weird incidence. Why all of a sudden she felt his smell around her, his presence around her. What was that? Hallucination? A Dream? She felt tears welling up in her eyes and she didnt attempt to stop them. She felt suffocated and helpless.

It was late in night and she was not able to sleep.
Shree's face flashed in front of his eyes. For last months she has started recognizing people and things around her. And few weeks back she had recognized Shree... her little brother. She had seen him crying and it hurt her.She had a feeling that she was the reason for his tears and this made her feel miserable. She felt helpless when she couldnt do anything to stop Shree's tears and turned her face away. She also got the flashes of her past life, her husband's misbehaviour in front of her eyes and she closed them.

All this had become a routine for her. A never ending routine. She was desperately waiting for this pain and suffering to get over but it didnt. There was struggle going on inside her. She didnt know what to do, what to think. She felt like she was a burden. Her parents felt so. She made Shree cry and now she didnt want to go back to Sameer to cause trouble in his life. She felt she was always a trouble for him and her sufferings are a punishment for breaking Sameer's heart.

She was tired of struggling. It was all dark around her. She just wanted to die. Tears were flowing from her eyes. Everyday she was under the effect of medicines, but today she was wide awake and she felt and urge to cry loudly... cry her heart out but she felt her voice was caught in her throat. She just kept on sobbing praying for Sameer's happiness.
Though she was not given any medicines today, still she had become weak because of long term medication. She drifted to sleep when she felt exhausted.

A new case... A 15 year old girl kidnapped. Her father worked as Arjun's father's driver. The driver comes to ETF office asking for Arjun's help and the chase begins.
