Few Hours back.
Sameer and Aisha too leave for their place by taxi.
At Sameer's place.
Aisha makes coffee for him, Daadu and herself after she freshens up. Sameer too joins them.
Sameer is humming a tune. It is of the Bengali song "Jodi tor daak shune keu naa se tobe ekla cholo re"
Daadu: aaj bahut dino baad ye gaana gunguna rahey ho...
Sameer: Haan Daadu!!! bas aise hi yaad aa gaya ye gaana...
Aisha: Ashima gaati thi na ye gaana?
Sameer: Haan...(goes into a trance thinking about
her) bahut pyara gaati thi ...gaane k poore shabd to mujhe yaad nahi ... par matlab yaad hai... usne samjhaya tha... Chal akela rey... chahey kaisa bhi waqt ho... koi saath de ya na dey... apne kadam kabhi peechhe nahi hatana chahiye... raaste mein mushkilein bhi aayengi... chot bhi khani padegi... par fir bhi agey hi badhtey rehna chahiye ... akele hi sahi ... hum apni kismat se nahi lad saktey ... lekin... iska matlab ye nahi ki hum kismat ka rona rote huye baith jayein... waqt bura hua to kya hua... ye bhi tal jayega...
Aisha was deeply touched by this song and its meaning and she could relate it to her.
Aisha: par sabse zyada takleef tab hoti hai jab... apne hi humein akela kar dete hain ... (controls her tears which were ready to spill out) par waise bhi ... kuch ladaiya insaan ko akele hi ladni padti hain ...
Sameer comes out of his trance when he sees Aisha in tears. Daadu too opened up relating this song with his life.
Daadu: aur ... ye baat mujhse behtar kaun jaan sakta hai ... tumhari Daadi, mera jawaan beta aur bahu sab chaley gaye... kismat ne unko mujse chheen liya ... aur meri baahon mein reh gaya 8 saal ka chhota sa Sameer ... us waqt mai bhi apni kismat se nahi lad paya ... mai bhi akela mehsoos karta tha ... par maine tay kiya ... ki ab nahi rukna hai ... zindagi ka koi bharosa nahi isliye... ab pani zindagi jeeni hai ... aagey badhna hai ... akele hi sahi... par ab rukna nahi hai...
Daadu didnt stop the tears in his eyes. He let them flow. He never showed it to anyone how he had struggled emotionally for all these years.
Aisha and Sameer quickly got up and went close to Daadu and they got into a big family hug and part after a few seconds Sameer wipes Aisha and Daadu's tears and they
smile.
Sameer breaks into singing the song to cheer them up.

Daadu and Aisha clap for him.
Sameer: Aaj mai aur Aisha jaldi aa gaye hai to kyun na kahi baahar jaayein?
Aisha: mai bahut thak gayi hoon... aur kal us criminal ko pakadne k liye bhagtey huye thoda pair mein sprain aa gaya hai ... mai ghar par hi rehti hoon ... aap dono bahar jake aaiye
Daadu(frowns): tumhe chot lagi hai aur tum ab bata rahi ho...(glares at Sameer) Sameer! tumhe to pata tha na? tumne nahibataya mujhe? (Sameer gives him an apologetic look and looks at Aisha)... chalo doctor k paas
Aisha: Daadu... chot nahi hai... thoda sa sprain hai... theek ho jayega... aap dono jaiye...
Though Sameer and Daadu didnt want to leave Aisha alone, she still forces them to go out.
Daadu and Sameer go to a nearby joggers park and chit chat for sometime and go back.

Aisha was alone at home so she started preparing for dinner.
The door bell rang.
Aisha (thinking): Sameer aur Daadu itni jaldi aa gaye?
She opens the door and a bit startled to see Arjun. Arjun too felt a little awkward. A little while back his thoughts wandered to her. The moment when he saw her for the first was still fresh in his mind. He got the same tickling sensation in his heart which he got when he saw her for the first time.
Aisha: Sir ... aap?
Arjun(lost in Aisha's eyes): Haan... wo... Chabi..
Aisha: Chabi?
Arjun: Sameer ki
Aisha(confused): Sameer ki chabi?
Arjun(snaps out): mera matlab gadi ki chabi... wo aaj mai uski gadi le gaya tha na...
Aisha: ohh... haan... dijiye..
Arjun gives her the keys she takes them.
Aisha: Andar aaiye na sir... (she moves aside and Arjun enters in)
Aisha gets a glass of water for him as he sits on the couch again thinking about Ashima and Sameer. He thanks her and she goes to make tea for him.
She returns with a cup of tea and founds him lost in thoughts.
Aisha(giving him the cup): Sameer aur Daadu bahar gaye hain... wo abhi thodi der mein aa jayenge... mai bhi jane wali thi par pair k dard ki wajah se nahi jaa payi...aaj bahut dino baad Saturday evening ka thoda free time mila na... isliye...
Arjun nods and passes a faint smile acknowledging what she said and takes the cup.
Arjun: pair kaisa hai tumhara ab?
Aisha: ab theek hai... bas thoda sa dard hai...
Arjun is lost in his thoughts. He knew he can talk to Aisha about Ashima as he knows Aisha was like a family to Sameer and she has been a supporting pillar to Sameer after Ashima left. He always felt Aisha had a special place in Sameer's life. May be she could be the perfect life partner for Sameer, but he never saw any such feelings in their eyes for each other. Sameer was madly in love with Ashima and there was no feeling of being jealous in Aisha's eyes. It was always the concern and care. And Sameer to was very protective of her. They shared a sibling kind of a bond. This he had experienced in the few months when Aisha was staying in their neighbouring apartment.
Aisha senses that something is wrong with him.
Aisha: Sir... aap kuch pareshan lag rahey hain... koi problem hai kya?
Arjun: Haan Aisha... bahut badi problem hai...
Aisha: Kya baat hai?
Arjun: Aisha... mujhe Ashima k barey mein kuch pata chala hai
There is a twinkle in Aisha's eyes.
Aisha(excited): Ashima!!! kaha hai wo ? kaisi hai?
Arjun closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before breaking the news to Aisha.
Arjun: Ashima Shree ki badi behen hai...
Aisha was shocked and was at loss of words. Shree's sister who was in mental hospital was none other than Sameer's Ashima.
Both are quiet for a few moments. Tears well up in Aisha's eyes.
Arjun: Sameer ko batana hoga...
Aisha: par kaise... wo pata nahi kaise react karenge... kya beetegi un par..meri to kuch samajh mein nahi aa raha hai...
Arjun: janta hoon... par uska ye baat jaan-na bahut zaroori hai...
Aisha holds her head in her palms trying to control her tears. Aisha bombards him with questions.
Aisha: Par ye sab ... kaise ho gaya? Shree ko pata hai ye baat? aap gaye they Shree ke saath hospital mein usey dekhne? Wo Ashima hi hai?
Arjun: Nahi... Shree ko nahi pata... aur maine usko nahi dekha... Shree ko drop karne uske ghar gaya tha to waha mujhe Ashima ki diary dikhi... uske barey mein poochha to Shree ne bataya ki wo uski behen ki diary hai aur us diary mein Ashima ka photo bhi tha...
Aisha closes her eyes and remembers how happy Sameer was few hours back remembering Ashima, humming her favourite song. He always had a smiling image of Ashima in his eyes. She was worried for Sameer now.
The door bell rings again and Aisha and Arjun are distracted. Aisha wipes her tears and opens the door. Sameer and Daadu enter inside and Aisha passes a fake smile.
Arjun comes forward and bends down to touch Daadu's feet. Daadu blesses him and hugs him.
Sameer: Shree mil ke aaya apni behen se? kaisi hai wo? kuch bataya usne?
Aisha and Arjun look at each other and look back at Sameer.
Arjun: haan... wo theek hai...
Daadu: Shree ki behen? usey kya hua?
Sameer: Mental hospital mein hai wo... uske pati ne usko bahut torture kiya tha... domestic violence ki shikar ... 3 baar abortions kyunki beti hone wali
thi... aur mata - pita ne uski baat nahi maani... unhe lagta tha ki uska pati jo kar raha hai ... wohi sahi hai... aur uske pati ko poora haq hai uski zindagi ke
faisle lene ka...
Daadu feels bad for SHree and Ashima. Aisha clenches her fists trying to calm herself down. Arjun too looks at Sameer with sympathy.
Sameer(continues talking about her intently without a hint that its his love): kitni ajeeb baat hai na daadu... pehle uski zindagi ke faisle uske mata-pita ne kiye fir uske pati ne... aur un sab galat faislon ka nateeja us bechari ko bhugatna pad raha hai... kya dosh tha us bechari ka? ab wo log kuch nahi kar saktey uska dard kam karne k liye...Aur karenge bhi kyun? wohi to zimmedar hain uski is haalat ke... Aur is sab mein Shree bhi pis raha hai... pata nahi kyun... par shuru se usey dekh ke lagta tha ki ... wo normal youngsters jaisa nahi hai... wo khul ke hasta nahi hai... chupchap rehta hai... apne laptop, Tablet mein poori tarah se involved... pehle kaga ki bahut studious type ka bachcha hai... par kabhi socha nahi tha ki wo apne andar itna bada bojh liye jee raha hai... is ummed aur intezar mein ki uski
behen kisi din zaroor theek hogi... uski aankhon mei wo dard dikhta hai ki wo apni behen k liye kuch nahi kar paya ...
Aisha pursed her lips controlling her sob and Arjun fixed his gaze on Sameer.
Sameer(continues): uski zindagi mein Rahat ki ummed kam hi hai... bas yehi dua hai ki... uska dard aur na badhey... uski behen ka future to nahi pata ... bas wo ek normal zindagi mein wapas aa jaye...
He looks at Arjun and Aisha and observes that they are intently looking at him.
Sameer: kya hua? aise kya dekh rahe ho?
Aisha: kuch nahi ... mai khana lagati hoon...
Daadu: haan bhai... bahut bhookh lag rahi hai... aur aaj bahut dino baad saath mein khana khayenge...
Aisha goes to set up the table and Arjun follows her as he knew that she might be affected by what Sameer said.
Sameer's phone rings and he gets busy with the call. Daadu was quick to notice that Aisha was disturbed and Arjun followed her.
Near the dining table.
Aisha(while setting up the table): Sir... kaise batayenge Sameer ko... ki wo unki Ashima hai...
Arjun(helping her): batana to padega Aisha...
Aisha closes her eyes keeping her palm on the table. Arjun puts his palm on Aisha's hand and presses it lightly. Aisha opens her eyes with a jerk and finds Arjun looking at her intently.
Arjun: bharosa rakho... sab theek ho jayega..
Aisha passes a faint smile. Arjun's palm is still on Aisha's palm on the table and they were looking into each others eyes. Aisha felt relieved listening to him.
A Little while back.
Daadu noticed that there is something wrong with Aisha and Arjun. Later when he saw Arjun keeping his palm on Aisha's hand and bothe of them looking intently at each other, he smiled to himself.
Sameer came back after finishing his call and was moving towards dining table when Daadu called in a very low voice not audible to Arjun and Aisha.
Sameer turned and looked at Daadu with a question mark on his face.
Daadu signalled towards Aisha - Arjun. Sameer looks at them with a raised eye-brow in bewilderment.
Daadu: kafi dino se tumse ye baat kehna chahta tha ... ye Aisha aur Arjun ki jodi kaisi rahegi? Dono saath mein kitne achchhe lag rahey hain...aur shayad ek dusre ko pasand bhi kartey hain... bhai mujhe to inki jodi bahut pasand aayi... tum batao...
Sameer was shocked at first but very soon there was a mischievious smile on his face.
Sameer: They are a perfect made for each other couple...maine to kabhi socha hi nahi...
Daadu: kaise dost ho tum...
Sameer: koi baat nahi... waise abhi chaliye dinner karne... nahi to ye love birds k romance ke chakkar mein hume khana nahi milega...
Both of them chuckle and move towards the dining table.
Sameer makes a little sound while clearing his throat to catch Arjun-Aisha's attention. They snap out and are embarrassed. Sameer and Daadu supress their chuckle.
They have dinner and Daadu insists Arjun to stay at their place in the night.
