The episode did begin with the typical Aahat like Purani Haveli, meant to scare camera angles and eerie background score.Reminiscent of the girl out to avenge her family's murders ghost story. But my hopes for a hatke episode soared when Arjun and Ayesha went to interview the Shantaram killings investigating officer.That interview opened up new vistas of scenarios where this story could have been made to progress.Like Shantaram may not have been the murderer, the real murderer still out loose, a stinking police cover up , the whole Ajay knowing Shantaram from before and so on.All hopes dashed after the strange killing of that man on a roadside laughably for his I Pod.Then the attempted one of the girl for a broken moonstone.I racked my brains but could not come up with why the creatives would want to ruin it all by the time they reached the end.Its like some child losing interest in a pet project yet under the compulsion of the teacher haphazardly puts together something to escape punishment.đ
Then Chotu and Liza insistence of a ghost being the culprit right till the end of the episode.We know Chotu readily believes anything of the occult but why would Liza fall prey to such things?The woman is seeped in science and has been in the thick of all ETF cases.So then why was it hard for her to conclude that they might have a copy cat murderer on their hands? Arjun had to snap at her explaining the obvious and then some viewers complain they couldn't stand this "know it all " man who makes his subordinates look stupid.
I was glad for Aisha's presence after the misleading info via Forum 32 article.She played her part well and I am loving her tone and dialogue delivery a lot. But she did seem a bit tired and stiff in places.
As always Mr M rocked and dazzled.âď¸ Today again the camera lingered on him in some really delicious angles especially in the artifact store and the interview of that sales lady.Watching the show on the lap top is something new for me but his voice comes across even more stylish and honeyed on it. And yet again he was given some really masala lines:
"Aur agar tumne apna muh bandh nahi kiya toh tumhe aur tumhaari aatma ko ek saath apmaanith karoonga!"
"Chain se jeene ki na hi meri aadat aur na hi tabiyat!"
"I don't know why Mr Patel but iss waqt mujhe aapki munaafe aur nuksaan ki zara si bhi nahi padi"
And the most dhaasu, phadam phad line of all:
"Afsos Mr Patel aapki collection toh maine poori hone nai di, par meri collection mein ek aur case solve ho gaya!"đĽłđ
