I am going to be brutally honest here, so I am asking you in advance to kindly forgive me.😳
As an ardent fan and viewer of "Arjun", I am deeply concerned about the content and future of the show.
For the past two months or so, I am feeling that the show has lost its zing.
- It all started with the serial killer series and the exit of Rathore (who was played so wonderfully by Behzaad). Forum 32 didn't even bother to explain that an actor playing a central character has left, and why. They just left it hanging in the lurch...and that has left a bad taste in the mouth of many viewers.
- And now, I think Shree's character also had an inexplicable exit!!! He has not been spotted for the last two-three weeks.
- We still keep getting these "serial killer" episodes focused on Arjun combating a killer who is pretty much known to us right from the beginning. If they did manage to make the process of finding him interesting, I wouldn't mind. But frankly, the episodes are so loosely knit that I am plain disheartened by what I see!
- The episodes are becoming dry, and... plain uninteresting. No doubt, Shaleen and the others are trying their best with the material given to them, but it is just not enough.
- Incoherent and uninspiring story lines, lack of whodunits, bloopers galore...It almost seems as if the writers themselves have lost interest in the show!!!
- And THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON OF THEM ALL. Even after a full year with Arjun and the others we have no information about the main antagonist Sikander or Arjun's perseverance and efforts to track the killer of his wife.Even if they do manage to resolve it at the end, where is the chase??? What about the hero's journey trying to find and capture such a dastardly villain???
- If the writers don't pay attention to the central story arc...it's bad news indeed😕
- And I will also say this- the female lead, Sakshi Anand just does not get enough screen space. No progress on her pairing with the protagonist Arjun as well! That is bound to make many viewers feel unhappy!!! FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, WRITERS! SHE IS THE FEMALE LEAD!!!
- I am going to be honest here... I may not be a shipper of the current lead pair, but I was ready to accept them with all my heart when the character was introduced some months ago.I feel so bad for ArAkshi fans, and I feel that they've been cheated!!! We know practically nothing about her or her history.
- All this has led to the downfall of the show.
- And yet I keep watching the show for all its shortcomings because of one amazing, talented individual. Mr. Shaleen Malhotra, who is clearly putting in his blood and sweat to make two episodes a week for us viewers. Carrying the show alone on his lean, strong shoulders:) And providing him able support, in spite of their limited screen space- Sheetal, Ketan, Mrunal and Ritu.
- The TVR's have risen again this week to a 2000+ after a long time, which means that we have touched a TRP of 1. After a long, long time.👏
- But is it enough to sustain the show and help it get another extension from the channel? And that too, a TRP hungry one like Star Plus? I honestly do not think so :(

No offence intended to anyone...it's just my personal opinion. Feel free to disagree. I just wanted to rant and express my feelings, I guess!😛
