Arjun walked into ETF and walked towards his office after such a hectic day. He didn't know why, but somewhere inside of him he was relieved that he was able to kill the psycho who today caused so many people, including his team mate Shree so much pain. Arjun didn't know when, but slowly he starting seeing Shree as his younger brother. And there is no way he will let anything happen to Shree, and under no circumstances will he let anyone get away with hurting him!
He slowly walked into his office to find Shree waiting for him in his office.
As shocked as Arjun was, he didn't show it on his face and just asked "Shree tum yahan kya kar rahai ho? Tumhain to araam karna chaiyai is vaqt". As he spoke, unknowing the care and concern he had for Shree came out as words which instantly brought a smile on Shree's face. After everything Shree had went through because of the door-bell psycho, Arjun could see Shree was pretty badly shaken up. And as much as he wanted to, he couldn't do anything to help.
Shree on the other hand; who was still sitting there with a sweet smile on his face, got up and slowly limped towards Arjun with his crutches; but as hard as he tried to make sure he didn't show his pain, he failed miserably, because instantly the minute he took his next step his winced in pain and held onto the chair that was on his left.
Worried Arjun ran towards Shree and bombarded him with questions and also helped him sit on the chair...
"Shree tum teekh ho?" "Doctor ko bulao?" "Tumhein kisai kaha ta itni jaldi hospital sai nikal kai office anai kailyia? Tum abhi tak teekh nahi huai ho! Tumein rest ki saqt zarurat hai!"
While Arjun was busy helping Shree sit down on the chair and was yelling at him, Shree just sat there with the smile still on his face. He and the team knew that though their Arjun Sir didn't express it to others, the truth was that his Arjun Sir cared allot for others, and today once again his Arjun Sir proved that he cared allot for his team members as well. "Mein teekh hu Sir. Aap fiqar maat kijyai."
The moment Shree said those two sentences, Arjun calmed down and once he made sure Shree was comfortable in his seat he went and sat in his own chair in his office across from Shree. As Arjun sat in his chair he asked Shree if he needed anything and Shree politely denied saying he is perfectly fine.
Arjun looked at his team mate and asked once again, " Kya hua Shree. Tum itni dair yahan kya kar rahai ho? Sab jaa jukai hai ghar, to tum kyo nahi gai?"
At first Shree did not reply, but the next second he picked up a gift which was sitting at the side of the table and handed it over to Arjun. It was a rectangular shape and was wrapped in blue wrapping paper. "Sir, mein yeh tova laiya ta aap kaylai." Shree said as he handed the gift over to Arjun.
Arjun on the other hand couldn't understand whether he should be shocked or if he should be happy. Shocked because for the first time Shree was giving him a gift or happy because after decades someone finally put in the effort to give Arjun a gift. A slight tear drop was threatening to fall out of Arjun's eye. While looking at Shree and his gift , Arjun softly said " Shree yeh..", but Shree cut Arjun off and said " Sir please, mana maat kijyai. Mein yeh tova apnai senior kai lyiah nahi barkai apnai barai bhai kailyai laiya hun. Please muchai mera bhara bhai maat cheenyai."
Arjun was left dumb struck and just looked at Shree. He couldn't believe this was the same Shree who he would keep in the office all night just because he wanted to watch the CCTV footage from a case or the same Shree he would be yelling at when he didn't get the job he was given on time. Arjun couldn't figure out what he did to deserve such politeness, but he knew he couldn't break Shree's heart so slowly he lifted his right hand and extended it towards the gift that Shree was patiently holding for Arjun.
As Arjun took the gift in his hands, he looked at the gift realizing that it was not a dream and that he did in fact receive a gift. While he was busy in his thoughts, he was brought back to reality when he heard Shree say "Arjun Bhaiya gift kolkai daikyia na please."
As Arjun heard Shree say that he came out of his thoughts and said "Thank you Shree" and started opening his gift. He slowly took the tape off from each corner of the wrapping paper on the present; making sure he didn't rip the wrapping paper. His heart was beating twice as fast because after such a long time he was opening a present. He felt like a child opening a gift from Santa on Christmas morning. As he opened the gift he kept wondering what the gift was. But when he opened the gift, he couldn't take his eyes off it.
The gift was a golden photo frame with "My ETF Family" craved right into it the center on the bottom of the frame. Inside the photo frame was a collage of the whole ETF team. And everyone had a smile on their face, which was a race sight to see now days. Unknown to Arjun, a smile crept up on his lips as he kept looking at the photo frame.
As Arjun was busy with looking at his present, Shree sat patiently just looking at Arjun's reactions. The moment Shree saw the smile creep up on Arjun's face he knew his Arjun Bhaiya loved the gift. Because Shree wanted to give his Arjun Bhaiya some time with the gift, he got up and was just about to leave when he felt someone's hand on his shoulder. He looked up to find black orbs looking down at him.
As Arjun was looking at his wonderful gift he saw Shree about to leave. He hadn't even thanked Shree properly for the gift and there was so much he wanted to say to his younger brother. Yes, his younger brother! Shree, who always laughed when someone made a joke but cried along with someone when they were in pain; the person who would stand by Arjun's side no matter what happened. He put his gift on his table and ran across the table and put his hand on Shree's shoulder, stopping Shree in his tracks.
Seeing Arjun standing there with his hand on his shoulder, Shree sat back down. But as Shree knows like everyone else knows, Arjun has never been good with words. As Shree sat down, Arjun walked over to the window in his office that looked over the city. He put one hand on the window and the other hand on his waist.
For some time there was compete silence in the room. You could hear the rain pouring outside cars driving by. The silence was then broken by Arjun and his three words that shocked Shree.
"I AM SORRY" Were the words that broke the silence. Shree was shocked!
Arjun continued to look out the window. Shree slowly started getting up. He never in his dreams wanted to see a day where the person he considers his older brother would be apologising to him. He never wanted that! Slowly, but carefully Shree got up and after getting holds of his crutches he slowly started walking towards Arjun and was about to finish asking "Bhaiya aap sorry kyun..." but Arjun cut Shree off saying "Mujhe bolnai do please Shree."
All Shree could do was nod. So he did. Arjun continued.
"Mujhe maaf kardo mi mein hamaisha tumsein rudely baat ki laiken vair bhi tum muj jaisai insaan ko apna bhara bhai mantai ho. Mujhe maaf kardo ki mein kaam ki vajai sai tumhein raat raat par office mein kaam karvata ta aur aglai din bhi kaam pai paij daita ta; yeh bhi yaad nahi rehta ki tumhai ghar bhi jaana hai kio ki mujhe ghar na jaane ki aadat pargi hai. Laiken phir bhi tum mujhe apna bhara bhai mantai ho. Mujhe maaf kardo ki mein tumhein baat baat par chilaata ta jab tum kaam teekh tara sai nahi kartai tai. Phr bhi tum mujhe apna bhara bhai maantai ho. Mujhe maaf kardo ki mein tumein us haivaan sai bachaa nahi payia aur tumein choht lag gai. Liaken phir bhi tum mujhe apna bhara bhai maantai ho. Agar mainai tumhara dil kabhi dukaiya ho to mujhe maaf kardo." By the time Arjun finished saying this, he finally lost control of the tear he was holding back, and that tear slowly rolled down his face.
Shree who was standing behind Arjun couldn't stand seeing his brother break down. He moved a step forward and put one hand on Arjun's shoulder while he still held his other crutch for support. "Bhaiya, aapko maafi mangnai ki koi zarurat nahi hai. Jaab aapnai koi gallatai ki hi nahi to aap maafi kis baat ki mang rahai ho? " Shree asked.
As Shree said those words, he felt Arjun's shoulders drop as if a big burden had just been lifted off of them. To Arjun, those words did miracle to his heart. He felt like a whole new person and he felt relieved. He felt like he had found a new reason to live; and that was all because of the person standing right her, his younger brother Shree.
Shree continued talking while Arjun still looked out his window. "Aap jantai ho bhaiya, jab aap rudely baat kartai thai mein jaanta tha us mein bhi aapka pyaar chupa that jo aap dikana nahi chahtai. Jaab aap mujhe raat raat bhar office mein kaam karvatai tai tab bhi aap chup chup kai aakai vaikh rahai hotai tai ki mein teekh hu, aur agar mein soh bhi jaata to aap mujhe Jagatai nahi tai aap kudh who kaam kar laitai to jo muche us vaqt karna chaiya ta. Jaab aap chilatai tai tabh meinai kabhi bhi bura nahi maana kio ki mein jaanta ta aap uhn criminals ko jald sai jald pakarna chahtai ho ta kai who hor kisiko nuksaan na pohnchai. Muchai pata ta ki meri ek Galati kisi ku jaan laiva ho sakti ti is lai aap chilatai tai. Aur rahi baat us haivaan ki to bhaiya, aap nai to muchai kuch honai hi nahi dyia. Aap chahtai to mujhe chorkai uskai peechai paag saktai tai laiken aapnai pehlai meri suraksha diki vair uskai peechai gai. Aur agar aap time pai us ghar pai nahi ponchtai to is vaqt mein yahan ghara nahi hota. Bhaiya Sakshi nai batayia ta mijhe ki jab mein critical condition mein operation theatre mein ta to aap pura time operation theatre kai darvasai kar baar karai tai. Aap ek minute kaylai vi darvasai sai door nahi gai kio ki aapko meri chinta ti. Jaab aap team kai saath mujhe hospital mein milnai ai tai aur aapnai kahan ta aap us haivaan ko sorry bolnai ka mauka bhi nahi dai gai aur mujhe aap par yakeen ta aur jaunta ta ki aap sab ko insaaf zaroor dilvao gai. Aur aap nahi wahi kya. Aap kai us vaisali sai kai logo ki jaan bach gai. To Arjun Bhaiya, is saab mein aap ki ghalati kaha ti?" Shree sarcastically finally asked with a smirk on his face.
Yeh sab sunai kai baad, Arjun Shree ki taraf daikh ta hai aur sochta hai "Akhir merai saath kaam karkai mera sangat ka asar to hoga na ispai. Mujhe hi samjadyia isnai." he said and smiled. Arjun turned towards Shree and looked at his younger brother. He was so proud of him. He never knew the Shree who he see's laughing around with his team mates could make Mr. Arjun Suryakant Rawte understand.
Seeing a smile on Arjun's face Shree knew that Arjun understood what he was trying to say.
"Shukrya Shree. Mujhe ek chota bhai dainai kaylai shukryia. Mein waada karta hoon mein tumein kabhi kuch nahi honai du ga. Agar koi musibaat tum par ai gi to pehlai usai mujsai guzarna hoga." Arjun said.
"Mein jaanta hun bhaiya. Bas bhaiya aap sai ek bhinti hai." Shree said.
"Tum merai bhai ho. Jo bhi kaihna hai bai jijak bolo." Arjun replied.
"Bhaiya. Aap please apni zindagi mein aagai baryai." As soon as Shree said that the smile on Arjun's face vanished, but Arjun stood there ready to listen so Shree continued. He knew this was important and had to be done. "Mein jaanta hu jo Roshni Bhabhi kai saath hua who acha nahi hua aur aap revenge laina chahtai ho to aap lijyai. Mein aapko nahi roku ga. Laiken Bhaiya, aap us kaylia apno sai door mat huyai. Aap Rathore Sir kai saath apni dosti please vapas lai aoe. Mainai daikha hai jab aap dono kai beech larai hoti hai toh aap dono boht dukh hota hai. Jab aap late night office mein rehtai hai to maihnai daikha hai Rathore Sir kaisai door sai karai hoqai aapkai cabin kai taraf taiktai hai yeh daiknai kilai ki aap teekh to hai ya nahi. Aapkai dost wahi hai, bas aap apna haath bara di jyai. Saab teekh ho jai ga."
Arjun knew in a way Shree was right. But Arjun was just afraid to make the frist step. Yes, ARJUN SURYAKAUNT RAWTE was afraid. He can always fight criminals but with relationships he was afraid. He didn't want to loose them again. Thats when Shree spoke up, "Bhaiya aap fikar maat kijyai. Hum sab hai aapkai saath. Jab bhi aap akaila mehssos karai to mera tofa vaik laina. Aapko ehsaas hojaiga aap akaila nahi ghai."
Arjun was glad he was not alone anymore. Now he had a slight hope that everything will be ok. "Teekh hai Shree. Koshish karu ga."
That brought a big smile on Shree's face. He thought since his brother is ready to listen so why not ask one more thing. So, he asked anyways. "Ek aur baat kaho Bhaiya?"
"Han kaho Shree."
"Aap please Sakshi sai naraaz math hoya karu. Who aapsai boht pyaar karti hai. Woh bas aapki madat karna chahti hai. Who aap ko dukhi naahi daikna chahti. Who chahti hai ki aap usai apni takleef batao. Takleef batanai sai man halka hota hai."
That brought a shock to Arjun's face, but somewhere inside of him a little part of him always knew that what Shree was saying was true. So all Arjun did was give a little smile back in return. "Teekh hai Shree. Jahan pana ki hor koi kawaish ho to abhi batado. Baad mein agar nahi maana to vair math kaina maihna mauka nahi dyia puchnai ka ."
Is baat par Shree boht zorsai hasa.. laiken bichara pool gya ta ki usai choht lagi hai. Hastai Hastai usai dard hon lapa. Dard ki vajai sai Shree flinched which didn't go unnoticed by Arjun. Worriedly he asked Shree" Tum teekh ho na. Tumhein araam karna chaiya is vaqt. Chalo mein tumhein ghar chor d
aita hoon."
Arjun gave Shree his other Crutch and was about to walk about when he suddenly stopped right at the door. Then as a whisper, he quietly asked, "Shree, ap tum hi mera parivaar ho. Tum mujhe chorkai to nahi jao gai na?"
Shree walked up to Arjun and happily said," Aap chaho to bhi nahi jao ga. Aab mein mein aapka peecha nahi chornai wala. Samjai ya samjaon?"
Arjun was glad to hear that from his brother. He took one step forward and hugged Shree; his only family. "Thank you Shree. I won't let you down. " After a quick hug he pulled back and said "Chalo Shree, mein tumein ghar chordu ga." Arjun took Shree's bag and helped Shree to his ETF SUV.
They both walked out happily talking like two brothers who met after ages.
