That was a good one👍🏼. I for one had always bothered myself and people on the forum with the 'what does Sakshi do.? I promise to never crib ever again! Because I am not sure which is worse...her doing nothing or actually doing something😛. Because you cannot deceive the camera and with increased exposure your artistic capabilities and limitations get revealed. Moreover,even if it seemed more coherent to see an involved jouranlist helping in the investigation instead of drooling over Arjun,it is a fact that she was filling up for the missing members. The scenario still remains that any other member except her would actually create a vacuum to be be filled by someone. She would create just some space if missing from an episode.

Missed Arjun yesterday. ..
It was dandiya night...something unavoidable. .
I will watch the episode and yhen comment here..

I disagree, I personally found Mrunal to have acted very good in all the scenes she got. She is shown as a journo, and she stayed exactly in her role. Helping out Arjun with clues et all, she has been doing that for quite some time.

There was no overacting, nor any underacting from her side.

And yes she was filling up for the missing members the same way in which Arjun has been filling up for Rathore, like Ayesha and liza fill in for Shree/Chhotu. But that is not her fault now is it? And I have to say she filled it up pretty darned good!

Also since some people are talking about her unable to fill the void, I also want to say that no one IMHO can fill the void that Behzy sir left. He was senior to most people in this series, and that is noticeable, especially when he isn't there.

They found another lady cop, but finding a replacement for Rathore will be hard.

Moreover,appreciating someone's acting is a subjective experience-Its a match of wavelength of the actor and the audience.Thus,I would never argue about it. If I remember correctly i had appreciated her acting in the suicide bomb case. Here I found her body language and dialogue delivery very self conscious and laboured. But that is it. I am no expert performing arts critic and you do not have to take my word for the truth😊.
And about filling gaps-of course its not the poor girls fault. I would never in my right senses expect her to fill Rathore's gap when even Arjun is having difficulty doing so!! It was more like she was substituting Ayesha. And she indeed did it well. She bought in her distinct identity- For even Ayesha would not have been able to mouth a "Batao naa Arjun" which made it look as if she was asking for his favorite actor instead of the culprit😆.
