Purpose: to meet with Aisha"

"What crap sakshi...har baar apni iss boring si diary me sab kuch likhna jaroori hai kya..?" asked an irritated Arjun.
"Ofcourse...aur tum itna irritate kyu ho rahe ho, i thought itne saalon mein tumhe meri wierd aadaton ki aadat ho gayi hongi..." Sakshi smilingly answered keeping her diary in her bag. She had this habit of writing every place with time she visited in the whole day...and later writing a whole overview of the day at night. (Yeah..a bit wiered...but thats the way she rolls.)
Arjun: oh c'on birdie kahan hai tumhari aisha madam...hum kabse wait kar rhe hai and uska koi ata pata hi nahi...
Sakshi: hey u...dekho meri friend ke bare me kuch mat bolna ha...and wat late late? bas 10 mins hue hai hume yahan aye...
"13 mins to precise..." said a lively chirpy voice from behind...
All arjun's irritating face had gone and got replaced by a cute smiley face seeing her...as if he was never the one complaining about the time..
Sakshi: Aisha! hi!
Sakshi said and hugged Aisha who settled herself besides sakshi and arjun.
Aisha: sorry arjun...mumbai ka traffic..,even god cant help it..
Arjun: its ok aisha...ho jata hai kabhi kabhi...aur waise bhi tumse milne ke liye thoda intezar to banta hia na...
Sakshi: Haww...ab dekho kaise party change kar raha hai...abhi mujhe puch raha tha ki tumhe itni der kyu ho gayi...
Aisha couldnt help getting amused with her friends's talks...
Arjun: haan to maine kab mana kiya...(turning to Aisha) dekho aisha i agree i was complaining...afterall i was eager to meet you na...
Aisha: bas bas...ab jyada butter waste karne ki jaroorat nahi hai...waise hi bohot mehngayi hai desh me..remeber hum yahan kyu mile hai... (turning to Sakshi) Birdie...Sam poore 4 mahine baad aa raha hai mujhse milne...i need to look gud...i mst plan something gud...i mst make him feel gud...isnt it...
Sakshi: why not...chalo we'll plan for shopping for u...and...
Arjun: woaho...! hold ur horses ladies ye shopping and all ke talks se mujhe dur rakho pls...and aisha mujhe laga tumne mujhe milne bulaya hai...par tum to apne Mr.Special ko lekar hi busy ho...khayalon me bhi...
and gives a naughty smirk to aisha...
Aisha: haan haan...tumse bhi milne ayi hu arjun...warna sakshi se kyu kehti tumhe le ane ke liye...but samjha karo na...Sam se 4 mahine baad mil rahi hu...and beware...mai kuch bhoolti nahi...ye baat bhi yaad rakhungi...jab tumhe pyaar hoga na...tab ye same line tumpar use karoongi...
Though she had said it in an im[pulse as the witty reply to Arjun's comment but she knew it meant deeper to him..atleast...him...

They talked a lot on the topic...actually to be precise they planned a lot of things...Sakshi being a die hard romantic and SRK fan suggested many cute and even wierd plannings for the evening...and Arjun being a bit matured ws giving quite impressive thoughts in the discussion...he suggested being simple with the meet...as the only thign most essential for people in love should be thier LOVE...and not the materialistic and surroundings things we plan... Aisha agreed with him and the whole sole an hour long discussion finally led to the conclusion of aisha meeting sameer in a short stroll way...
Aisha: huh! hamesha aisa hi hota hai guyz...mai sochti hu ye karoongi...vo karoongi...par finally i stick to my 1st option...(chuckles a bit)...but its fine...waise bhi Sam ko jyada chamak dhamak pasand nahi...he likes being simple...in everything..
Sakshi: well...ye to ab tak mujhe pata chal hi gaya hai...tabhi to usne hamari seedhi saadhi...bholi bhali...Aisha ko choose kiya hai...
Aisha: hmm..i'll take it as a compliment lil' birdie...
Arjun: actually she meant...simple yet beautiful yet elegant yet gorgeous...yet...
Aisha: ummm...Arjun mai samajh gayi...ab chalein...?
Arjun: chalna kha hai...? jana to tumhe hai na tumhare Mr. Perfect ke paas...mai aur birdie are not going naywhere...hum thodi der yahi rukenge and fir mai isse drop kar doonga..
Sakshi: accha dumbhead? kya ye jaroori hai ki tum har baar ye proove karo ki u deserve the name 'dumb Head'...
Arjun frowns a little when sakhsi continues..."ye Talk of the Town kya tumhare DAD ne kharid rakha hai...jo yahan ka staff humein ghanto tak entertain karta rahega..."
Aisha just shrugs their start of a new verbal argument with a smile and gets up to leave...
Arjun: dekho dad ko beech me lane ki jaroorat nahi hai sakshi...theres no need to mention anything about or related to him...did u get that straight...!
oopsie...wrong take sakshi...mentioning anything about Arjun's dad is always a wrong take...Aisha sensed the seriousness in Arjun's voice and to ease it off she casually suggested...
Aisha: hey hey...cool down... ab choti si baat par lad mat padna...Arjun, Sakshi why dont' u guys join me and Sam tonight...? waise bhi Arjun to Sam se mila bhi nahi hai...
Sakshi too sensed that she had touched the wrong nerve of Arjun and this would surely annoy her DH...she also got Aisha's hint to change the topic as well as mood of Arjun...she mentally smacked herself for the slip and mentally made a note to thank aish alter for her much needed help.
Sakshi: yeah...why not...wat say Arjun...mai bhi Sameer se mili nahi hu abhi tak...bas ek do baar uski photo dekhi hai...(with a slight nervousness) hum milne chalein Arjun, Sameer se?
Some things had surely flashed before his mind with even a mere mention of the person he never wants to think about...he has his own reasons to stay away from the person who pulled him away from th only person Arjun was close to...but then he cant let it out in open and ruin the happiness of both the ladies sitting opposite him who were both by now concerned and waiting for his reply..
uptil now he was doning a straight face from the moment of Sakshi's slip...but he knew better than bieng a spoiltsport...his lips curved into an assuring smile and he said with his usual tone again..
Arjun: Aye Aye Captain...the plan is on.
Sakshi's worried expression changed to smiley face. But...
Sakshi: NO! hum aaj tumhare saath nahi aa sakte Aisha!
Woaho! out of the blue...
Aisha: par kyu? ab to Arjun bhi maan gaya hai...tumhe kya problem hai..
Arjun: oye...ab kaunsa bulb jala tere dimag me?
Sakshi: how mean of you Arjun...aisha to fir bhi chalo theek hai...she is a sweetheart...par tum bhi jhat se maan gaye..i really doubt u being straight!
Arjun: hey u ! dont u dare huh..
Aisha now done with this girl's antics...she couldnt take it anymore..
Aisha: sakshi...ab ye jyada ho raha hai...stop ur drama...mujhe sam se milna hai jaldi se jaldi...u both go and get ready...i'll pick u guyz up and...
Sakshi: Wohi toh. mai wohi to kehne ki koshish kar rahi hu Miss Queen of Jhansi...tum apne boyfriend se itne long time baad mil rahi ho...and ur tagging along two bones in the yummy kebab.
Aisha and Arjun: WHAT!
Sakshi: arey i mean kebab mein haddi u idiots...tum Sam se milne ja rahi ho...romance shomance karo...gaane vaane gao...hum dono ko kyu le ja rahi ho...
Arjun: well...for a change i agree with birdie..Aisha, tum dono ko AKELE thoda time spend karna chahiye...aur ek baar apne boyfriend ki feelings ke bare me bhi to socho...he must be so eager to meet you...tumse baatein karni hongi usse...pyaar me dooriyan bohot dard deti hai aisha,...and ab jab nazdeekiyon ka daur aya hai to tum hum jaise bandaron ko saath le rahi ho...ur really a sweetheart aisha...but apna ye innocent wala love apne sam ke liya bacha kar rakho...samjhi ya thoda aur samjhau..
Aisha: nahi...samajh gayi...thanx guyz...mera to pata nahi...but u 2 really are sweethearts...but mai tum dono ko Sam se milwa kar hi rahungi...aur waise bhi iss baar Sam ek long vactaion ke liye aa raha hai...i'll make sure ki uske jane se pehle we make an awesome "Fantastic 4" team.
Sakshi: sure Aisha...mujhe bhi sameer se milna hia...par kisi aur din...(checks time)...hey u go and get ready...aur haan...for a change thoda make up...touch up kar lena..
Arjun: birdie...apni ye cosmetics ki advertise apne paas hi rakh...aisha to in sab ke bina hi itni beautiful hai...she dsnt' need anything else...
Aisha just smiles over it.
Aisha: ok guyz..then i'll take ur leave...aur tum dono jyada ladhna mat..bye
Arjun and Sakshi too leave the place and goes to a nearby beach...Sakshi always loved beaches and thus Arjun too loved them. they both settled on the sand...Sakshi was continupusly smiling over something...Arjun hada very strong urge to ask her about it..but then it was not daily that his ever so chirpy birdie used to be silent and smiling at the same time ...he couldnt help smile to himself when he found himself gazing at her cute pink lipswhich were beatifully curved into a heart contented smile.
Still looking at the horizon Sakshi said to him without even looking at him.
Sakshi: agar kuch poochna chahte ho to poochlo na Arjun. You really are such a dumb Head.
Arjun couldnt help but smile at her obviousness.
Arjun: puchna kya hai...as if u dont know ki mai tumse kya puchne wala hu...u know me better than me sakshi... Accha batao...itna muskura kyu rahi ho.
finally turning her head towards him...she said with a composed yet exciting tone..."I am happy for her Arjun."
"Aisha?"
"Yup!"
"Me too."
"hmm."
"kuch bolo na..."
"idiot! kitna acha monosyllabuls me baat kar rahe the...link tod di..
actually i am happy for everything good happening in her life Arjun...usse vo sab mil raha hai...jiski usne chahat ki thi...uske parents ka support hai uske saath...vo jo banna chahti thi...hamesha se...uss manzil ke raaste par aagey badh rahi hai...aur ab to sameer bhi hai uske saath...maine bohot suna hai uske bare me aisha se...he seems a nice guy...she'll be happy with him...bas kuch mahine aur...and then she'll leave th college and the city too...usse delhi me ek internship offer hui hai...u knw...AAJ TAK channel se...its a big thing na.. (Arjun nods in positive) i'll really miss her...but i am even happy for her..."
all this while arjun was patiently listening to Sakshi...he knew her well...she had found a support in her...he knew about their bonding. and he even knew that sometimes all his birdie needed was to talk her heart out to someone...wait...someone? no its him..its always him.
He again felt proud of himself...again...for he was so much important in his birdie's life that she always spoke her heart out to him. and what about her importance in his life...Oh...was she so much important...ofcourse she was...she may have many friends in her life...but for him she was the only one...she may have many people near and dear ones...but for him, she was the only one...she may have many people in her life she loved...but for him...again the same answer..."yes Mr.Dumbhead...she was and always be the only one...whom you..."

"kya hua? tum kuch bolte kyu nahi?"
Sakshi's sudden question brought him back from his own analytical session...he shrugged and said.."nothing birdie..."
She again smilingly averted her gaze to the beautifully setting sun ahead...
"Tum usme apne aapko dekhti ho na...?"
Yup...she was caught offguard...but how can she even dare forget whom she was talking to...this guy besides her knew her better than herself...
Sakshi: haan Arjun...mai bilkul aisha jaisi banna chahti hu...i really envy her...
Arjun kept his hand over hers and said with a tender look..."tumhe kisike jaisa banne ki kya jaroorat hia Sakshi? tum jo bhi ho...BEST ho... atleast mere liye..!"
Sakshi grinned widely and mocked him..."i know arjun...tumhe to tumhari birdie best hi lagegi na...but i am serious...i mean dekho na she has everything a girl can wish for...a loving and caring family...a career of her choice...ok ok not yet...but soon to be...such a loving boyfriend...it seems so perfect to be true...hai na?"
Arjun: Everyone has their share oof problems sakshi...humein kya pata...shayad aisha ke life me bhi problems honge hai na...
Sakshi: honge arjun...jaroor honge...but thats what i am talking baout...positivity...we should look at the brighter side na...accha tell me...mujhe bhi aisa perfect life milega na...
Arjun: ofcourse my lil' birdie...loving family toh tumhare paas hai hi...jo ki itni jyada loving hai...ki even i share it with u...and about career...i told u na...u are the best in everything...and u'll surely make it to the best level...aur
Sakshi: aur pyar?
They both looked at each other...something suddenly changed in the air around them...words ceased for them...
he wanted to answer it but something stopped him everytime he looked at that prettiest face in the world.
Arjun: Milega Sakshi...pyar bhi jaroor milega...vo bhi saccha wala...bas tum usse pehchanne me der mat kardena...
it ws only a smile he could offer.
and it was only this she could answer..."ofcourse mere Dumb Head...koi aur nahi mila to tumhe hi bali ka bakra bana lungi..."
And they both started laughing...unaware of the innervoice which was saying the same thing in both of their minds...
"Again...u missed the chance!"
