Upto school Sakshi's world kept revolving only around her Dumb Head Arjun...but never ever she felt any pull towards him...the way other girls felt... or maybe she was too much convincing herself about them being "Just friends"

Then they came to college...and Minal entered their self made group...

She was a nice girl...infact she was the only one whom sakshi found a bit kind and generous...not that she was weird...even she was a beauty boys used to talk about...she hailed from a rich family...but she was just like how sakshi was 4 years back...dat was the point which gained sakshi's attention...Minal found a bit odd of sakshi and arjun's friendship...she never shared a healthy friendship with sakshi's DH...she was kind of a reserved girl...but soon she started to find a true friend in sakshi...it was after months she told sakshi about her long distance boyfriend...

Then after a semester came the HOT NEW GUY Aakash...and the rest is history...

But apart from all these...there was some special person in her life...it was a person whom sakshi trusted a lot and dependent upon...she had even shared her deepest secrets with dat one person about which even her DH was clueless...

The person was Aisha Kapoor...two years senior to Sakshi's batch...

She had helped Sakshi in many ways to mention...Sakshi respected her and her friendship very much... any problem...whether it be personal or education sakshi would 1^st contact Aisha... she had now became an emergency number for sakshi to call whenever and about whatever...and Sakshi Anand...well she was the magnet for problems and emergency situations...

Aisha too called her Birdie... but sakshi never mind it... It was true dat sakshi loved it when HER DH called her Birdie, but Aisha...she was an exception... From the day sakshi had known her...she had felt an envy towards her...she always wanted to be like Aisha...Mature...understanding...independent...caring...and even daring and brave when time demands...Aisha was in the Journalism Batch of ZIMA (Zee Institute of Media Arts) and Sakshi and Arjun were in technical Studies Batch... Aisha wanted to become a crime reporter... she is kind of a rebel in this otherwise typical world... and for all these positive traits of Aisha, Sakshi always envied her...

Not that sakshi had known Aisha from years...she had just known her from the last 1 year...and she had became her very very very close friend.

"I am sorry Aisha"

"I know...tell me something new..."

"Aww...miss cool is getting hyper...aaj fir kisine propose kiya kya..." and sakhsi started laughing...

"Shut up Birdie its important...check my messages right now...aur ha, muhe tumse milna hai ASAP..."

"milna chahti ho.." Sakshi makes a bit worried face...

"Par Aisha aj to mai DH ke saath bahar jaa rahi hu...we didn't get much time to spend lately..."

Woaho Birdie and DH not spending time together...if somebody had told Aisha dat Obama has invited Laden on Tea...she would have believed...but this lame excuse...HELL NO... "Sakshi...don't try to fool me around...ok...take YOUR Dumb Head along too...and meet me at the caf...bye"

Before sakshi could say anything the call got disconnected..

"kya hua?" Minal asked Sakshi.

"Nothing...ab mujhe fir se ek date plan karni padegi..."

"WHAT? U and dat Arjun...no way...sakshi have u gone..."

She couldn't even complete when someone came from behind and hugged her tight...

"hi baby! Missed u..." Sakshi just frowned at the word baby'

"I missed u too baby...where is Arjun?" minal asked aakash...

"Yeah, yeah...he is on his way...just talking vid Alisha..." said Aakash...smiling a bit vid the mention of Alisha...

Alisha...the hottest girl in the college...at least boys thought so...oh really...Sakshi hated her to the core... Reason? Dnt' knw...actually she never knew why she hated Alisha so much...

Just because she was way too beautiful than her...or may b coz she was very arrogant...or maybe she had the best collection of short skirts...or may be coz she always taunted Sakshi for her relationship vid Arjun... Or was the reason dat this Alisha was always hell bent to jump on HER Arjun with 1st chance available...she always used to flirt vid Arjun...and the worst thing...Arjun never stopped her...as if he enjoyed all of that...

Sakshi quickly cursed dat Alisha under her breadth and got busy checking Aisha's messages on her phone...

"hey Birdie...sorry huh...got late...pls order a black coffee for me..." Arjun came and sat beside his birdie...

But he didn't notice dat his sakshi was too busy planning something in her chotusa dimag...

When Sakshi heard Arjun asking her to order a coffee for him...she got reminded of aakash's given info about Arjun being BUSY with ALISHA...

She snapped out...nd replied sarcastically... "kyu Mr.Rawte...aapki Ms.Famous Short Skirts ne aapko coffee nahi pilai...haww!! so sad..." she made a oh so sorry' face...

Arjun got her meaning and in a serious tone said it... "kya karu Ms.Anand tumhari aadat lag gayi hai na... coffee order karne se lekar coffee pilane tak sab kuch tumhare saath hi achha lagta hai..." and he smiled to her...as if conveying something...

Arjun's sudden serious tone and his words whn sank in sakshi's mind...she tried processing thm and get the actual meaning of them...but she was again snapped out by a message beep on her phone...

It was from Aisha...

"pls Birdie do something... HE is free tonight...and I wanna make a best of it...kuch plan bana...aur haan agar tumhare chotuse' dimag me kuch nahi aa raha...to apne uss Dumb Head ki help le lo...he is not dat Dumb as he seems to... 1 o'clock...X'press coffee Caf... I'll be waiting..."

Then it clicked her...Aisha needed help...she needed to think and plan something quick...she was thinking hard about some plans...when she heard the thing she was unknowingly to herself waiting for...

"Someone needs my help I guess...!!" Arjun smirked looking at her...

Arjun was watching his birdie from the time she peeped into the phone...though their tiny eye lock had broke the moment she chose to give her due attention to the damn phone rather than him, but he was still looking at those lowered lashes...he always ends up doing this...unknown to himself...he always ends up staring at her...lovingly...one sec...lovingly? He chuckled at his thousandth realization... But then he noticed the changing expressions on his birdie's face... She looked worried...no mischievous...no worried...no planning something...no she's not sure about something... Phew... "I got it...something related to Aisha or ... " he chuckled at his own thought...how well he knew HIS Sakshi...

But no...Sakshi was still holding onto her... Why were u with Alisha ' look!!!

With her same accusing tone she shot back... "NO...I don't need anyone's help...but I guess Alisha will need your help na..."

Now it was getting BIG...he had to calm her down or herll end up in messing things...

"Oh c'mon Sakshi...Alisha was just asking me about the project in hand...she wanted some reference...and I gave her some names of good books..."

No this was getting the wrong way...she thought she'll tease him...anger him and he'll try to manofy her...but he was giving EXPLANATIONS...this was the last thing she wanted from him...she never needed any explanations from her DH...their friendship is not bound to such things at all...but now when she had provoked him to give one...she was feeling embarrassed...

She said with the same indifference... "haan haan... thik hai...thik hai ...itna explanations dene ki koi jaroorat nahi hai..."

He smiled at her attempts to now indirectly manaofying him instead of her...and still trying to pretend as if she needs a "SORRY"

Arjun said with a cute smile as always... "ok...meri good manners ki kitaab...I AM SORRY...ab khush...and haa mai agli baar Miss.Short Skirts ko Aakash k paas bhej dunga thik hai" He received a glare from Minal on this and an exciting Smile from Aakash, which didn't last for long as Minal's glares now turned to him...

Now when sakshi had got her official APOLOGY... The queen accepted it with her royal style...she just turned her head a bit to Arjun and with a casual tone said... "It's ok...agli baar yaad rakhna...your 1st priority is always has to be ME...did you get that straight..." But then she caught some words from Arjun's apology and her nose went red again...

"Hawww!!! Tumne fir se uski SHORT skirts notice kii...arghhh" and she started hitting him again...and again started their session of "U idiot"... "U jerk" ..."Bas uski short skirts dekhte ho ya aur bhi kuch..." ..."argghhh"

After getting somewhat to their normal mode of Sakshi gossiping about something with minal and Arjun busy with aakash...again something clicked with sakshi...It was then she remembered that she had to help Aisha and she must be waiting for her...

"oopsie...Arjun I need your help...vo aisha hai na..."

But now the ball was in his court...how can he let go of the golden chance... "Well maine to pehle hi poocha tha but badle me mujhe sirf tere hitting mile...huh...ab mera mood nahi hai HELP karne ka.."

Sakshi said with a pleasing tone now... "Pls na Arjun.ek baar sun to lo...Aisha ka boyfriend use milne aa raha hai...and she needs OUR help..." sakshi went and sat near him and held his hands in hers...and with the best possible puppy face she said the last bit of her emotional attyachaar.. "Arjun...U'll not do this for me...!" It was more of a conclusion than a question...and that was all arjun can handle...

He rolled his eyes and said... "Phew...c'on sakshi is it necessary always to make that best puppy face...every bloody time?"

Sakshi just smiled her naughty smile...actually she grinned profusely...and gathering her stuffs...she got up and tagged him along... "Ok...so tum bhi mere saath chal rahe ho..."

"hey...Kahan?" asked a visibly confused arjun..

"Aisha se milne" Sakshi answered as it ws so obvious and still this Dumb Head was asking.

"But birdie mujhe Library jana tha..."

He tried to reason but all in vain...he already found himself walking out of the canteen with sakshi literally dragging him along and saying... "c'on DH...don't be a spoilt sport...and library...! (she made an eww face) Aisha's company is way far much better than those boring books and guys donning those big round specs... and yeah I know ki tumhare mann me already laddoo photo raha hai Aisha se milne ke liye...ab chalo bhi...I cant' drag you all the way Mr. Hippo Rawte"

"Hey don't call me that huh...i've increased my work out time in gym yarr...hey BTW u never told about Aisha has a boyfriend too...whats his name"

Sakshi turned to him... "Oh yeah...sorry I didn't tell u...even I got to know sometime back...and then you were so flity talks with her...I thought... let him be' ... Well his name is something..."

Arjun... "hmm...Something...nic name..."
