wow touching lines, and true. maybe they never understood us, thats why say move on...they want us to be happy, but have they thought we want to be happy or move on or not? maybe staying in past give us solace, peace?

live and let live. caring is not bad thing, but first, leave it to us we want to move on, we want to be happy or not

sorry if i am sounding confused...

You don't sound confused at all😊. It makes perfect sense-we want people to move on because seeing them in pain make us uncomfortable. So it is the most convenient way of helping both ourself and the person in question. But not everyone is lucky enough to indulge in this escapism. Some tragedies uproot you from the depths, as in Arjun's case. No floor below your feet and you are expected to move on!

So true!

I always wonder once Sikander is vanquished just how will Arjun get through each day? The reason for his existence is solely Sikander.Take him out the teflon coated Super Cop is just a shell of his former self. I was sure they planned to kill him at the end of the series. But Mr Malhotra himself clarified that Arjun will not die. Then what? How?

Methinks he will strive for the rest of his life to make sure no other Arjun is separated from his Roshni by any cretin like Sikander.

Exactly!!!
People tend to cover their pain by showing hate!
It's because they want to feel the pain 😕
But, at the end of the day we are all humans and it's in our nature to feel!!
As much as we try we can't stop feeling!!
It's the one thing that shows that we are human! 😳

"You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, or who had ever been alive."

The other peraon tells u to move on, its not because they never understood u, its because they really care abt u...they might not exactly understand your pain..but they are all right in telling u to move on because they can see what u going through...
When a person lose someone and that too unexpectedly, lot of dreams, lot of plans or lot of moments u wished or planned to live togehter, u lose them them..trust me nothing is worst than feeling thinking no matter how long u live, in this life birth u will never be able to see that person, u will never be able to live those moments u wished for, u will never be able to say those things which u wanted to say...
Every human being craves for love, everybody wants to get rid of pain..(arjun wants to kill sikander not only because he wants to take revenge but also because he thinks this might ease/reduce his pain little bit of losing roshini)...
Its very hard for a person to move on becoz everytime u want to take one step u think u r betraying ur partner but trust its better to move on..moving on does not mean forgetting other person , u can still keep other person alive in ur memories but living with those memories alone is only possible in movies not in real life...honestly the person u loved immensely and whole heartly can never be dead for u..it will always be there in ur heart because he taught u to love..he made u realize of this beautiful feeling called love but again i will still say its better to move on..the other person will say that to u too..he would definitely wanna see u happy ...u know everybody deserves happiness in life no matter hw big and worst tragedy is and if God is giving to another chance to be happy with someone..its better to accept it...moving on does not only mean having another partner in life..it can also mean living a normal and happy life...
It might sound all philosophical to u but trust me its just something ...
Thats what i think..sorry if it does not make sense..i m not saying ur post is wrong or something..its only my view on that

Thanks for commenting😊. And no worries, firstly they were not 'my' words and secondly not everything is judged on right and wrong😛
Coming to ur post, wonderfully written👏. And very deep perspective. I am not speaking from personal experience of loss and I pray no one here is. Thus I can stick to the context of the show. I completely agree that everyone deserves to be happy and lead a normal life, but since when did our Arjun Rawte start belonging to the common category of 'everyone'😉. Jokes apart, everyone also deserves to have a life free of tragedies. Fate violated this right of his. And the cruelty of fate could violate the happiness right too. It is not the individual in question,it's his wicked destiny which prevents him from carrying on.
And secondly,I agree Roshini would want him to be happy, but if things were to go her way she would have never left him! So we can agree that her choices don't really have much of a say in Arjun's life, unfortunately. But even if she wants happiness for him, which gospel tells that it can be found only by replacing the relationship which was lost? I loved ur line that moving on does not really mean finding a new partner-for me Arjun would have moved on the day he finds not love but peace. With himself, with his life. And I too would not accuse him of betraying Roshini if he did find love. But assuming that his love for Roshini was not something which could not last a lifetime,I would find him to be loving two people at the same time. Not sure of what to call that😛
