(At Rawte's Place)
Arjun is still in his couch, in the dark... lost in deep thoughts. Actually remembering all of it ... all over again.
How Roshni and He fell in love, How Sameer backed them - supported them, made fun of them after he found out how much Arjun and Roshni were in love...
Sameer used to tease Arjun, every time he gets calls and texts from Roshni, Sam used to snatch his cell from him to read aloud the texts Roshni sent and later on making fun of them, but also He respected their relationship a lot. It was Sameer only, who let these lovebirds approach to the families. Though Roshni's father was furious at this decisions of theirs', but Sameer's family supported them and finally Arjun and Roshni got married.

(Flashback)
Chap - The Proposal
Arjun still remember the day he proposed her. It was really a beautiful day. There was heavy rain all day long, Arjun wasn't sure if he could possibly made it happen. So he asked for Sameer's suggestion.
Arjun: Sam, plz mujhe kuch soojh nehi raha, aaj ka din kya yea best rahega ... mujhe Roshni ko officially propose karna hain.
Sameer: (In a teasing tone) ACP Arjun Rawte ko aaj meri salah ki jarrorat hai? Lagta hain aaj sooraj raat ko hi nazar ayega!
Arjun: Mazak chod yaar... mein yaha chayen se beith bhi nehi paraha hu, aur tu hai ki meri khichayi karnese nehi rukta ...
Sameer: Come'n yaa, I'm just kidding. (He nudges him by the arm) Listen, yea barish kya cheez hai? Agar toofan bhi ajaye na, main toh kehta hu tu aaj hi use propose karle... kya pata kaal uska mood change hojaye! (He chuckled and winked at Arjun)
Arjun: (got shocked to listen to his friend) Kya matlab hain tera?! Tu aisa kiu keh raha hai? Roshni kiu apna mind change karegi? She loves me ... (But before he could say more)
Sameer: arrey Yaar, tu bhi qamal karta hai... tum dono ek doosre se pyaar karte ho, shadi karna chahte ho... sab kuch mutual hain, phir bhi tu propose karnese itna daar raha hain... toh main aur kya bolu?
Arjun: nehi yaar, tu nehi samajh raha hain... I want to make this very special for her. Paar aaj ka din hi itna kharab hai, yea barish... mujhe bilkool bhi pasand nehi Roshni ko aise barish mein bahar lekar jana.
Sameer: Well, Mr. Rawte... aap ko shayad pata nehi lekin Roshni ko barish se koi problem nehi hai... in fact jaha tak mujhe pata hai, she loves Rain... Bachpaan se hi ushe barish bohot pasand hai, or waise bhi uske liye tu important hai, naki yea barish yea Sooraj.
Arjun: Lekin mujhe barish pasand nehi hai na... (He made a face in disgust) par aaj ka din main miss bhi nehi karna chahta, aaj Roshni ka pehla din hai job ka. She is really excited today... kaal raat ko hi hum dono ne plan kiya tha ki aaj celebrate karenge... toh main use surprise dena chahta tha. Lekin iss barish ki wajase pura plan hi chopat hogaya!
Sameer: Rawte, ek baat bata, tujhe Roshni ki khushi se matlab hai ya barish se? Tera pyaar jyada important hai, ya teri pasand - napasand?
Arjun: (Again got shocked, what is wrong with Sam, why he is talking like this today?!) Come On, Yaar... tujhe pata hai saach kya hai!!!
Sameer: toh phir tu pareshan kiu horaha hai? Dekh, shayad tujhe teri perfect plan ki mutabik kuch bhi karneka mauka nehi mil raha hai, but you know you can make it happen anyway brother! So just forget this weather and focus on your Proposal! (He teased again, Arjun rolled his eyes)
Arjun: baas kar yaar... thik hain, jatahu. Iss barish ki aisi ki taysi... mein aapna plan kamiyabh karke hi chodunga!
Sameer: that's like our Rawte, determined... focusing... and Hahahahah (He started to laugh out loud by seeing Arjun's awkward face)

Finally the rain stopped, and its almost 5 pm. Time to pick Roshni from her school. So Arjun went to Rathod's cabinet to bid him goodbye, Rathod wished him good luck and mentioned the pending treat. Then Arjun left the (Police station) office and rode his bike to get Roshni. Before reaching her school, he got to his place to change the uniform to something casual.

(5.30 on the clock) Arjun keep on checking time on his watch, like after every minute, getting impatient to see Roshni at the gate of the school. Though Roshni text him that she might get little late as it's her first day, so after the school hour, she might need to sit with the principal and other teachers for some discussions. Finally on 5.40 she came out at the gate.
Arjun was having his cutting chai in a tea - stall on the road, opposite the school. When he saw her, he just finished the tea in one long sip, paid the guy and ran to her even before she noticed.
Roshni too walk fast to him with a broad smile on her face. Arjun suddenly felt very relaxed to see her smiling. Her smile always work as a charm on him. She came and stretched her hand to hold his. Arjun took his hand and lead her to the bike. He started the bike, she rode behind him, and both wore the helmets. Arjun took her bag in front of him, so she could held her bag including him from the back. Arjun found the trick on their second date on bike ride (while Roshni was having trouble to hold her bag and also Arjun. Arjun took her bag and put it in front of him then asked her to hold it from the back, so she had to lean to Arjun's back to hold it, also got to support her body on his. So she could relax and ride and need not to balance while Arjun sped up.)

It took them another half an hour to reach the beach. Roshni was enjoying herself all the way, in fact she used to enjoy weather like this. Arjun could sense it from her smiling face. She got off the bike, took off the helmet and handed it to Arjun with her bag. Arjun put the bag under the seat, locked his bike and took both the helmets on the handles of the bike. He was actually buying some time for himself to get prepared, he checked his pocket, the ring is safe. Then he turned around and found Roshni Spread her hands, her curls were dancing with the breeze, she took a deep breathe with eyes closed. Arjun felt like the angel is right in front of him, making him realized that he was in heaven on the earth. He went close to her, held her hands and hugged her from the back. She looked at him from her back and smiled her heavenly smile. Then ran to the concrete aisle and called out his name...
Roshni: Arjun, mujhe aapna haath do, mujhe iske upar chadhna hai...
Arjun: pagaal maat bano Roshni, gidh jaogi phir?!
Roshni: Tum ho na, mujhe sahara dene ki liye...sambhal ne ki kiye! ... plz, plz ... plz?
Arjun: Thik hai Baba, chalo. (Then he helped her climbing and let her held his hand for support)
Roshni started to walk on it, but she could barely keep her balance and fell back, Arjun held her in his arms instantly. She felt shy for her childish behavior, but Arjun smiled at her. The breeze was blowing hard that Arjun was draped in her scurf. Then she held him and touched his face softly with love. Both smiled to each other, its like without even uttering a single word of love they could read ach others mind.
Then Arjun took few steps forward, (still cradling her in his arms) then he knew this is the time, everything is just perfect, far better than his planning. So he put Roshni down, took the ring out of his pocket, got down on his knee, and asked for her hand. Without saying a word, Roshni just gave him her hand and he slipped the round band on her finger. He didn't even repeated the lines (Roshni, kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi?) he had been rehearsing all the day to make it sound more romantic. As if its all been said and done in silence. Then they both hugged each other. Arjun knew that Roshni knew and believed him with her everything that she was safe with him, and He would never let anything happen to her~ (But suddenly all his visions started to change)

It repeated again, the day Roshni was being murdered, that knife, her teary eyes, the pain... Arjun on the ground, helplessly strangling, seeing his love of life taking her last breathe, painful death, how both of them died (Arjun considers himself as a dead man, for he feels like his soul is long lost, now he is breathing without a life, he crossed every limit in his life being fearless, and now he's got nothing left in him).

Arjun wakes up suddenly, turns the table lamp on. He is sweating like hell, as if he just survived a trauma! He wiped his face with his hands. Then checked the time on his watch, 8pm. almost one and half an hour passed. He reminds himself of Rathod. He asks himself..."Itni der hogayi, Sam abhi tak nehi pohcha?!"

Sorry Guys, It's been really long. Very sorry to keep U all awaiting. Actually I find it really hard to conclude some characters (as they r no longer part of the show) but it's really hard (Trust me) really, really hard to end some character, especially when that character is so related to your story.
But had to maintain the track...
So here I'm back with my new update... maybe it'll disappoint U all a bit (for some it might look too small) but plz bear with me. I am trying to do a justice to my piece of writing, and this would be a good thing, I think!

Team ETF (Shree, Chottu, Ayesha and Sakshi) been driving almost for 2 hours now but they are not reaching any near to the address. It's just a highway that leads to the end of Mumbai.
Shree started checking on his notepad for the location, but nothing is seen on the map.
Shree: "Guys, lagta hain hum galat jagey pe agaye, yaha toh yea address kahin nazar hi nehi araha hei!"
Chottu: "Phir who jo address Rathod Sir ne tumhe diya tha, who?"
Sakshi: "Kahin Sameer ne jaldi jaldi mein galat pata toh nehi dediya?!"
Ayesha: "Come on Sakshi, Rathod Sir itna bhi careless nehi hain" (She felt it like an insult to the chief) Or waise bhi Shree ne khud wod address copy kiya tha"
Shree: (He could sense the blame is about to shift on him) "Arrey Yaa...maine double check kiya tha!"
"Ek kaam karta hu, Rathod Sir ko call karta hu" (Everyone nodded at this decision, and Chottu stopped the car at the side of the road.)
Shree called Rathod's number 3 times, but no response. Then he informed the rest that Rathod is not receiving the phone. So Ayesha suggested him to call Arjun.
Ayesha: "Shree, Arjun Sir ko call kar ke dekho shayad dono saath mei hi hain." (She is trying to sound convincing)
Shree: "OK" (And he dialed Arjun's number).

(On the other side)
Rathod knew something is really wrong. He is trapped. So he stopped his car at once. Ready with his gun, remove the seat belt.
But as he stopped the car suddenly, so the micro behind him, hit his car from the back before could even stop at a distance. With that, Rathod's gun dropped from his hand, only he managed not to hit his head.
Then quickly he ducked to pick his gun which dropped under the seat, and sit up. But as soon as he get back on his seat, something sharp pinched him on his neck. (As the window was rolled down beforehand so it was an easy go for them to get him in the first chance)
Even before Rathod could realize, the thing came out of nowhere and pierced his skin. He put his hand on back of his neck and found a small iron pin, which he took out immediately (Blood started to drip on his shirt) but the reaction started already. He understood that he has been injected with something and anytime now he will faint. Then he looked outside to see, but in the dark all he could managed to see that 3 men were coming towards his car, 2 with guns in their hands. He was feeling dizzy, everything started to get blurry, and he heard the sound of the feet of those men approaching him faster.
So the last thing me managed to do was put his cell phone on silent mode and hid it in his socks and unfolded his jean, made sure the phone is safely hidden. Though he knew they will take it out, yet he tried to buy himself sometimes, just in case...
(Back In Rawte Residence)
Arjun, still lying on the couch, in the dark, lost in thoughts again. (As his phone rang, he picked it up yet eyes closed)
Arjun: "Haa, Rathod? Kaha ho tum?" (As he was expecting his friend to be there with him, any time now)
Shree: "Arjun Sir, it's Shree..."
Arjun: (Sat up at once and turned the light on) "Haa, Shree, bolo?"
Shree: "Sir, Rathod Sir abhi tak nehi pohche kya?!" (He is sounding shocked)
Arjun: " Nehi abhi tak toh nehi. Baat kya hai Shree?!"
Shree: " Sir, Ratohd Sir ko ek call aya tha office mein, kiska pata nehi, but unhone humhe ek address diya or kaha ki woh apko lekar yaha pohchenge, and humhe pehle jakar chek karneki liye kaha."
(Before Shree could finish... Arjun spoke again)
Arjun: "Rathod hain kahan? Ushe phone lagao"
Shree: "Call kiya tha Sir, kaibar kiya, but he is not responding, and Sir yea address bhi galat hain"
Arjun: (Got tensed now, back on his full senses, clenched jaw and serious posture)
"Shree, tum log waha se niklo, headquarters pohcho and mujhe woh address sms karke bhejo abhi" (He demanded).
Shree: "Right Sir" (and he hung up to send Arjun the text.)
Arjun got impatient after Shree's call. He checked his watch ...its more than 1 hour after Rathod called, He must have reached by now, but he is not here. What could have happened? Arjun dialed Rathod's number while thinking all these. No response (like Shree told) so he called again and again. Finally he shouted in frustration...
Arjun: "Come on, Sam! Pick up the damn phone!" (He is feeling worried, tension is building up inside suddenly, which he can't even control) "Kahan ho Sam?!"
One of the men approached Rathod's car and hit him in the head, with his gun butt to make sure Rathod got unconscious early and snatched his gun. The other guys took him out of his car and dragged him to one of their micros. They tied him up with rope and covered his face with black mask, so that if he came back to his consciousness, he won't be able to fight back or to see anything. But the man from the driving sit spoke, "Arrey rehne de, yea toh ab kaal subha hi uthega, aur tab tak hum pohoch bhi jayenge!" Listen to this 4 of them started to laugh.
Then another men from the other micro shouted at them... "Eh, yea haasi Mazak chod or jaldi se nikal yahase!"
So they drove away (left the ETF SUV in that empty street) in the darkest night.
