Part 2:
As the music started to blare, Arjun tries his best to keep a notable distance from the lady dancing very seductively in front of him. He know that he gets too close and he will be big trouble. More importantly, someone would literally try to kill him. The girl glances straight ahead and as if noticing something important, leans near Arjun's ear and whispers, "twelve o'clock". Arjun smirks at her words and very smoothly twirls her around, so that he is facing the direction she did.
And what he saw shocked him to the core. "Shree are you getting this? Yes, tell Rathore that she's with me. Now can we quickly do what we are here for?"
Meanwhile, Ayesha looks around to see if anyone is suspicious of their actions. Being happy with her judgment, she quickly goes over the plan set in place. "Sir, when are we meant to attack?". Looking to Arjun for an answer, she instantly knows that it's going to be Diwali in January and gives a smirk of approval.
As if reading Ayesha's mind, he deviously smirks and tells hers, "Now".
Getting the approval from Arjun, Ayesha catwalks across the dance floor, to where their suspect sat drinking a scotch martini. "Hi, I'm Avantika. Can I buy you a drink?". The man looked at her from head to toe and creepily offers to buy her a drink. Ayesha tries her best to not shudder under the man's creepy stare and at the same time strongly tries to suppress herself from punching him across the face.
Meanwhile, the rest of team, Rathore, Shree, Chotu and Arjun, get to their task of removing every single bodyguard, this man carries around with him. Knowing their seniors, Shree and Chotu knew that there lay ahead some interesting action. (guys I'm very bad at writing action, so plsss bare with me). They split in to two teams, Rathore with Arjun and Shree with Chotu. They have limited time as they know Ayesha will not be able to distract Siddarth for much longer.
(Imagine the wildest action sequence you want, up to you😃)
As Arjun and Rathore find themselves being surrounded by eight bodyguards. Arjun decided to strike a conversation with Rathore while beating the bodyguards to pulp."Rathore, how was the date last night?" Arjun came straight to the point, without beating around the bush. "What date Rawte? And can we please concentrate on this first." said Rathore, while blocking a kick and punch from different guys .
Arjun knew Sam wasn't going to give him a stright answer so easily, so he decided to add a little tadka to their conversation, "Rathore, you know you can't lie. I can see it. You kissed her last night didn't you? You were gentle right?".. "Rawteee..." bellowed an embarrassed Sam, as he kicked the last bodyguard, before rushing to Ayesha's aid. As they ran, Arjun mischievously said, "So, I was right you kissed her, not bad.".
As they enter the club again, they see Shree and Chotu already in the bar area and signal them to surround Siddarth. As they move closer and closer, Rathore can see the relief in Ayesha's eyes and assures her that he would get her out of this situation as quickly as possible. Their eyelock gets interrupted by Arjun, who witnessing all the tension between Sam and Ayesha, couldn't suppress his childish giggle.
They surround the drug peddler and extortion specialist Siddarth, catch him and hand him over to the police officers who do their work. Everyone feels like going home and talking some much required rest in order to deal with the paper work they will have tomorrow. While Chotu desperately wants something to eat, Shree craves for his gadgets. And Rathore and Ayesha, they just want to be left in peace, together. Expect for Arjun.
"Guys, so this case is finished yeah, so let's party" came the very eager voice of Arjun. As everyone was accepting this so called request from their prankster. So they all gave him the very-well practised "seriously, are you mad Arjun?" glare. But knowing his team-mates and now part of his support network, his family, he knew exactly what to say to cajole them into coming for some time out. After all, life should be full of entertainment and enjoyment, he thought.
"Oh come on guys, Chotu, for you only my brother, your dinner is on me. Eat whatever you want. Shree yaar, why are you so boring? Trust me, be a little adventurous, chicks dig this in guys yaar." Knowing what their "senior" officer was doing, Shree and Chotu couldn't help but give a smile indicating they were in. As Arjun turned to Ayesha and Rathore all he needed to say was, "It's alright if you both don't want to come. We understand" and gave a wink to Ayesha and whispered to Rathore to use some protection. As soon, as he said this Rathore, he knew that neither Sam nor Ayesha would say no.
Alas, the team enjoys their night out. They dance, sing, enjoy their time together because life should be lived to the fullest. One should never let their past impact upon their present. And Arjun was a firm believer in this statement.
If only, Sakshi could live by this principle.
Location: London
After finishing packing her bags, she goes in to Aryan's room to check if he's has fallen asleep or not. She sees Aryan sleeping, but she knows that her sumo is pretending to sleep, so that he doesn't have to talk to her.
"Aryan, I know you are awake, pls talk to me beta. I'm doing this for our own good." After receiving no response from Aryan, she knows just know to wake him up. She leans in and whispers in to his ear, "Maggi khao ge?". Before she knew it, Aryan woke and eyes clearly showed excitement and approval of Sakshi's choice of food.
"Come beta, let's go and make sure we don't wake up kaka." But Aryan stops in his tracks and declines Sakshi's offer of his favourite midnight snack. Before, Sakshi can argue back, Aryan cuts her short and bluntly asks her, "Adu, why are you leaving me alone?? First dad, then...
Before Aryan could finish his sentence, he was enveloped in to a big hug by his Adu. He knew how much the past affected her, so he just embraced her warmth and motherly gesture. Even for his age, Aryan was a very smart cookie and understood what most adults couldn't.
"Beta, remember that.. But this time around Sakshi was cut short by Aryan, who said, "I know Adu, I know that, he will always look over me. Always." Sakshi attempts to smile at her sumo's level of understanding and intelligence. Just like his father thought sakshi.
In order to lighten the moment, Sakshi pulls out a bracelet with the letter 'A' on it and ties it around sumo's small wrist. "This was yours father's sumo, he would want you to have it and yeah, keep it very it very safe. Also, don't forget school starts in a week's time, so you have to get there by this Sunday and make sure that you..."
Again Sumo stops Sakshi, "firstly, don't call me sumo and secondly I know what i have to do at boarding Adu.. You know I'm smarter than you think sweetheart"
They both start to laugh, one was a genuine tinkling laughter while another was a rather forced laugh. This was life for Sakshi and Aryan 'Sumo' Anand...
