heya I am back😃
as usual, I know no excuses for being late and the story was ON HOLD and I thought to move ahead with it. Some things would never change and the due to the revelations of Riya's secret by Gorky Sir made me think clear..it was Always them. And compelled me to write on them more and more. 😳

the thing changed only is, i am eating your head with note at starting not at the end🤢😆

so here it starts again,

Chapter Eighteen

A new day started with five steaming coffee and a special cutting chai. Riya placed the coffee on the table and all head turned to the lady apporaching them. She offered everyone their coffee truely concerned with their taste and at last landed her tray upon Arjuns side looking at him normaly. He just looked up blinking his eyes , which indicated particularly nothing and she sighed , which never made him clear what is in her mind.

She looked at others enjoying their coffee and obviously the two devils wont ever stop chattering and she felt a little sad not being part of it and smiled thinking so silly about it. Then her eyes drifted towards Aisha and Rathod sir , and they were looking like two lonely souls made for each other exchanging looks of assurance or longing..she couldnot guess actually. Her mind made a quick conclusion if she is really missing something.

"Umm..Rii, I need your help..will you please get this file ready, i am really stuck at some research part ", shree pleaded '' and this is awesome as usual'', he added in a folksy manner raising up his cup .

"Yeah sure!! Why not"?..she grabed the file placed right on the table and marched towards her desk sensing nothing queer about the matter. Least did she know her tow devils are already cooking something under her nose.

Shree waited for her exit and elbowed Chotu and he nodded. They were actually waiting for Rathod to say, "Guys, we have got no case today so complete you paperwork'', which he did exactly, and left for his cabin leaving behind the team to complete their work. Only he didnt know , they ain't going to do any of paperwork.

Aisha looked at the duo concrned as the two started conversing something secretly that is hardly audible and she hissed them pointing a finger on her lips eyeing at her 2nd boss.

''He won't mind", shree whispered.
"Then would you please mind telling what you two are cooking up"? Aisha growled.

"Yes", chotu replied, "Okay!! Tomorrow is Rii's birthday" chotu whispered to Aisha signalling her to shout but her nerves went weak and before his sign she shouted 'Riya's birthday'' excited but the fact Arjun heard it all. And he looked at her astonished with her shout and excitement. But chose not to emabrass her and dumped his head back at the file.

Arjun's POV

''Her Birthday..hmm", he could not express what exactly he is feeling , when her looked at her through the glass wall silently working at her the file sometimes relaxed and sometimes frowning.

It wasn't his excitement , nor he was blank at all. It was just that, he could not behave as a teenager boyfriend grow nuts in the excitement for his girlfriends birhday not he wanted to keep himself cold and stern and make her feel being with a 70 year oldie . ''Err..she isnt even my girlfriend... I am confused". He accustomed with dismay.

He took a deep sigh gaining the attention of his onlookers. He knew , getting anything from him was never her expectation and he thought what he will give her on her special day ..atleast he wanted to be the reason of her that heart melting smile through all the pain he have given to her.

he found his team working when he looked back tem coming out from his thoughts and walked out .

After that the trio bursted upon laughing . "He must be thinking about how to plan a birthday party for but not getting what to plan actually ", she said as if smashing something between his fingers and that cracked both Aisha and Chotu and they had a good laugh. "Come on! No need for that, if he will even offer her a black coffee she will be in cloud nine", chotu said in between the laughs.

"Nah...let him his own way to do something for her"..finally Aisha sighed.

At this point the team already knows what is the much secret things going in between the both but these two are much smarter beyond their thoughts and acts like as if every meeting was their second ever meeting of their life. And they didnt ever dared to ask it to both of them, also the chief even cant help as the team cant risk to nag the Tiger for it.
