Chapter Three

The tires of the SUV screeched to a hald, and both the ACPs untied their seatbelt, got down from the SUV and walked towards the officer from the parking.

In the conference room Riya, was so much engrossed with the Machines and the new softwares & Inventions of Shree that , both Shree and She forgot the sole reason of her being here. Even Shree was so much busy with showing his inventions, thathis mind skipped that she is the Witness of their IMPORTANT case. The imporatnt point of their discussion was photograpy as Shree to himself is a passionate photographer. In the vesy first meeting he succeed to gather some of information about her profession, he never planned but that was automatic normal when two people talks. And She, she was happy, excited for no reason particulary. Today she got a chance to go out and meet around people with out the Dog like gurads who could even trace if she would gasp a breathe. Then she liked the company of this curly haired guy, who never gets bore with her while talking. Literally she like it. Usually she hates Chatting or any sound of chattering irritates her, but only when the person is busy with other, If someone is talking with her with specially her that would be the pleasant for her !!

Aisha barged into the room iterrutping both of them, and then said, "Shree, tumhe nahi lagta tum kuch jada hi kaam kar rahe ho''? While Riya was confused. But she ignored.

Shree : nahi toh maine aaj kuch kiya hi nahi Aisha!

Aisha : apni bakwas band karo aur chalo, Arjun Sir and Rathod aa gaye hain!

Shree : achha chalo!

He walked out of the room before saying Riya to stay there untill she was called. And she happily agreed.

Here Sameer and Arjun were in the conference room. Aisha and Shree entered followed by Sakshi and Chotu!

Coming to the right point sameer asked; Sameer : Aisha kya pata chala hai?

Ayesha : Ek important baat pata chali hai jiska ek witness bhi hai!

Sameer's face relaxed a bit up hearing that and he asked, '' Kya pata chala hai''?

Ayesha : sir ek witness mili hai, jiske paas se kuch bahaut hi imporatnt saboot miley hain!

Sameer : Saboot? Kaise saboot! Aur witness kaun hai ?

Shree : sir , Riya Mukharjee!!

Sameer looked at then with anticipation while Arjun maintained his sternness.

Sameer : toh kya pata chala saboot se?

Shree didn't wait further and played the Video , that he and Ayesha had recovered from that studio. And Sameer and Arjun both stared at the screen eyes wide open, but again maintained their normalcy . They noticed a girl comes out of the gate of the Springs Valley Enclave and waited for sometime. Then they noticed a guy stopped his bike there, right in front of her . The girl covered her face with the scarf, and then seated on the back seat of the bike and both left.

Then the voice came, '' oh ho, Camera band karna toh mai bhul hi gayi! Shit, itna bhul chuki hun ki ab ye choti choti batein bhi yaad nahi rahata! Huhh''. With that screen went blank .

The information they got from the video is indeed important. It showed the girl herslef went with the guy, without any force! So how could it be a kidnap. They all are confused.

Sameer : ye ladki toh khud uss aadmi ke saath gayi hai!

Arjun : ho sakta hai, jis ladke ke saath ye gayi ho wahan se ye kidnap hui ho!

Sakshi : par ye bhi toh ho sakta hai ki, wo ladka hi usse le gaya ho?

Ayesha : par , ye khud apni marzi se waha gayi ho toh?

Sameer : tum logon ki baat ka har ek angle check karna hoga! Aur witness kahan hai?

Ayesha : sir wo control room main.

Sam : what??

But the later reply was shocking as Arjun said it was a 'good' desecion.

But instanly he managed to divert them ordering them to bring her to the interrogation room.

Shree : but sir she is not any suspect! She just gave us a very imporant clue for the case.

Arjun and Rathod were surprised seeing Shree offending to bring Riya to the IG room, which they also do not want so withou dragging the matter heSameer asked Shree to bring her to the conference room.

Ayesha and Sakshi went inside to bring Riya. After sometime she entered the hall. All of them behaved with her so normal, while the very person was a little nervous to behave and his friend succeed to control him.

Riya's eye fell on three more stranger people. Her sparkling smile was surprising for everyone as there was not a single trace of fright in her eyes, which are directly matching with them.

She looked confident, as if a new spirit of a pure soul. But the reason of her normalcy was different, as she barely knows the process of interrogation.

Sameer : Hello Miss . Mukharjee!

Riya : hii!

Sameer : thank you very much for the informations and we owe you fo the help. You have fulfiled the duty of a responsible citizen.

When she heard thosed appreciating words, her mind flew away to the seventh sky as this words sounds so good and encouraging unlike the usual grumbling of her Aunty.

Then sameer ordered Shree to drop her in her place. She looked around while all of them smiled at her due to her childish antics, and her her eyes drifetd towards the person who was just staring at her, top to bottom without any expression. She made a face. Sameer looked at Arjun and shook his head while Arjun just left the room witout any response. This is usual to the team. Now this is the time to go home Riya thought, when sameer asked Chotu and Shree to drop her in the Crown leaf enclave.

Uninterestingly and with a sad face she looked around the office which impressed her a lot. Then walked out of the room along with Shree and Chotu. Sameer smiled back at her when she bid them bye raising her hand.

The whole rde to her home was fun as Riyas everywords seems a joke. They aren't aware of the fact that, she lost her memory and a little not normal like them. It is not abnormality but she asks questions too much and for the first tme shree and chotu liked something like this. Never know they felt a sudden attraction for her. The SUV stopped in front of the big gate of Corwns leaf Enclave and the guards ranned towards the SUV. After some formalities Riya went inside .

The two guards accompanied her to the 2nd floor of the building earning her galres and then she pressed the door bell of her flat. Aunty opend the door, a little worried. She knows, when Aunty won't scream or glare on her or when she was sweating and long deep lines on her forehead.. Means her Auntry is worried.

She walked inside still looking at her aunty. Finally she asked, " everything Okay Aunty"? Aunty just nodded and said, " Tum jao fresh ho kar aa jao, mai dinner set karti hun"! And she replied okay, as she was too hungry and the thing she realized that, The ETFians never even asked her a coffee. Err! Okay no problem they behaved well with her and even appreciated her, except the person who was busy staring at her. Umm he was weird! She she thought. Picked up the towel , and entered into the washroom.

...In the hall...

Aunty set the dishes on the right places and waited for Riya. Then the land phone rings and she walked ahead to attend the call. She spoke in a very low voice with the caller.

'' Haan wo pahauch gayi hai''!

'' Nahi, koi paresani nahi hai''!

'' haan, mai koshis kar rahi hu na, wo aage se aise kisi bhi situation mai involve nahi hogi''!

Aunty abruptly shut the phone when she heard the sound of opening door of Riyas room, and she greeted her on the dianing table instanly. They both setteled on their usual respective seats and started eating. Her Aunty could notice the peace and calmness on her face. Then she thought, that she really need to do some conclusion. She have no right to put the free bird into the cage, no matters if it is made of gold.

ETF Office
Arjun's cabin

He played the video again and again as if his life stuck there in the video. He stared at the figure on the wide screen of the projector wall. Her hair floating like the the waves of the sea, as like her nature not in peace. He closed his eyes, capturing the view for saving it till life time... A knock on the door broke his dreamy trance, when he found Sameer at the doorsteps.

'' tumhe andar aane ke liye knock karne ki jarurat nahi''! He said, when Sameer made his way inside.

'' tum busy the Rawte'' , added sameer eyeing at projector screen and Arjun hurridly shut that down. He smiled at Sam which didn't reached his eyes as if something is deliberatly bothering him. Sam somehow knows the reason of these lines forming on his forehead.

Sameer : Come on Arjun ab aise Majnu ki tarah mat baitho! Aur ye case kuch bhi nahi hai, mujhe lagta hai ki ye koi prank ho sakta hai ya phir unki beti se related koi personal matter. Jo bhi ho hume unse kal subhe jaa kar baat karni hi hogi. Aur abhi tak koi ransom call bhi toh nahi aaya!

Arjun : par ajib nahi lagta Sam?

Sameer : Nahi, sayad sirf tumhe hi aisa lagta ho? Tum baat kyun nahi kar lete?

Arjun : woh ami already kar chuka hun! But I think, there will be something horrible gona happen. That thought deepened the lines of tension more.

Sameer : aisa kuch nahi hoga! I assure you Arjun! Arjun smiled at his best friend and chief!

Sameer Damsingh Rathod , the only person of his life on whom he could trust till death. And he is sure about it. They both share a very cordial relation , and understanding for each other. It is as if Sameer is the only one who have read all the flipped pages of his life. And he never wanted to lose a person like him. He have seen enough in life, and there was a lot many thing he have lost. And now life again put him the same situation. Again he was brought back from his trance by a tap on his shoulder .

Sameer: Chalo , I will drop you !

Arjun : okay tum chalo mai aata hun!

Sameer: Abhi tak man nahi bhara?
He smirked looking at the screen when Arjun again picked up the remote.

Arjun : tumhe jane ke liye deir nahi ho rahi? He smiled at the teasing .

This would be surely a view to watch for the team, as the way these two have maintained their professionalism in front of the team member.

Arjun took out the pendrive from the laptop and kept that inside his pocket.

At Riya's place

Riya was peacefully chewing down the bread, and in between she asked her aunty, " Aunty , mera course toh abhi khatam hone wala hai, so mai soch rahi thi ki kahin internship ke liye apply kar dun''! Her Aunty taken aback by her sudden wish and she pondered over her words.

She wiped her mouth with the tissue as she is done with her food, and setteled herslef on the couch waiting for Aunty , for her reply about her plan. Her Aunty finished the kitchen chores and joined Riya on the couch.

Riya : Appko kya lagta hain?

Aunty : kya? Kis bare main? She pretended as if not rembering.

Riya glared on her and said, " internship ke bare main! Ryan ne bataya tha mujhe "!

Aunty : Ryan? Tumhara online guide?

Riya : yess aunty . Ab jaldi se batayiye?

Aunty : mujhe thoda waqt do sochne ke liye. Aur tum aaram kyun nahi karti beta ?

Riya : aaram..aaram..aaram.. Sara din toh wahi karti hun! Huh, ek achhi tarah se baat bhi nahi karte aap. Badi khatarnak Saas banogi app. She joked and left the hall area and locked the door behind!

Her Aunty is now short of words, she couldnt figure out what made her say that! ' Daily Sopas' ugh, !! Then she thought, whatever happened that WAS her past and now she want to start her life afresh. Just fearing about the future she also did not want to spoil her present. This girl have the rights on her life, and she could not stop her from living the way she wanted! Shr really needs to talk to him. She waited for a while and she was sure that riya won't open the door this soon.

Aunty again dialed the number and the otherside picked up her call.

Aunty : abhi baat karni hai!

Haan , wo so gayi hai! Hum bahar balcony mai milte hain!

After some good Thirty minutes, Aunty heard foot steps on the staircage and she peeped down looking for the person. He walked up stairs and reached to the desired floor.

Aunty engulfed him a very warm soothing hug, and he wraped her in his embrace.

The person : Aapne itni raath ko kyun bulaya?

Aunty : Jaroori tha Arjun!

Arjun : itna bhi kya jaroori tha aap samajh kyun rahi, mera bhi yaha baar baar aana thick nahi hai!

Aunty : par mai bhi kya kar sakti hun Arjun! ?

Arjun : ab kya problem hai? Sab kuch toh thick chal raha tha?

Aunty : haan, magar ab uska course khatam ho raha hai, toh ab wo internship karna chahati hai!

Arjun : what???? He barked at her with disbelief.

Aunty : haan! Aur planning bhi kar li hai usne. Bas mere haan ka wait kar rahi hai.

Arjun : toh kis baat ka wait kar rahe ho aap, aapko pata hai ki aapko kya jabaw dena hai!

Aunty : nahi Arjun! Hume usse uski aazadi chin ne ka koi haq nahi hai!

Arjun : Par!

Aunty : par kuch nahi Arjun, usse apni zindegi jeene ka haq hai . Already bahaut kuch seh chuki hai wo! Aur kya chahate ho tum?

Arjun stood silent , not able to answering those accusing eyes.

Aunty: mujhe pata Arjun tum koi na na koi raasta dhund loge!
Arjun just nodded his head and walked down stairs. Aunty locked the door behind and she too slept switching the power off.

Okay I know I am super late.
Kisiko yaad bhi nahi hoga tab bhi chalega.
Just felt like , aaj toh likhna hi likhna hai! So wrote it.
