❤️CHAPTER 3❤️

"i don't know what it is ! but it feels good!"

Saakshi moved and tossed in her bed.

"ahhh!!!" she screamed and got up.

"what is this noise?" she screamed and covered her ears.

It was dark outside,guess the Sun was a little late today..or someone just woke her before the sun.

She moved towards the window from where the sound was coming.She looked down the window.

There she saw a well-built man sweating practising his blows.He moved,turned,shook that sword in his hands.That was perfection,only some people could achieve.

He was doing it in a circle which had fire burning all over.The smoke coming up grom the fire just added to his sweat.His hairs oiled,his body sweating,his devilishly handsome looks had her thinking.

It was him.

Saakshi flared her nostrils in anger and went back to bed.Arjun looked at the window.He knew she was standing there looking at him.

Here Saakshi was wide awake.The images of him flashed infront of her.His face,his eyes,his nose..chin..lips..god they were so lusty.

Saakshi smacked herself at that thought!

"kya ho gaya hain hume?!" she thought.

She turned to the other side.Her eyes didn't shut,even if they did they just saw him.Princess Saakshi had never even thought of a man.Men think of her,she doesn't think about them.But he was different.May it was his looks..naa...it was something else.

The whole time she thought about him and Arjun here practised his swords..but they weren't right for the first time.Guess he lost a grip at them after seeing her.

"damn she's beautiful!" he thought.

His deep brain was confused.

"why am I thinking of a girl?" "i have to stay focussed..i am focussed...i am.." he stumbled.

Arjun went to his quarters and let himself in a pool of water to calm his nerves...and his...heart..

Next Morning:

Saakshi sat infront of her mirror.It was always her helpers who helped her get ready..apply the mineral cosmetics..but today she wanted to get ready on her own.

She looked at herself.She was pretty..really pretty...beautiful indeed.She blushed.

She left her hairs open,applied kajal and nothing on her face.She wore a beautifully woven red lehenga and adorned her hairs with flowers at the back.

Here Arjun came into the court wearing a yellow dhoti and an a red shawl kind of thing.he didn't wear anything on his head.He didn't like it.

Saakshi dried her hair on the terrace and applied a sandalwood perfume from a small wooden bottle.

Arjun greeted the king and sat down.

"u r very early! U're the first one to arrive!" the king exclaimed clearly impressed by his punctuality.

"i am not early,i am on time,as for me day begins even before the sun gets up."Arjun said proudly.

The king lifted his hand and said "kya baat!" and patted Arjun's shoulder.

Finally she wore the dupatta and came out.

Saakshi walked.

*chann**chann*Chann**chan*

Her payal sang as she walked.She reached the court.All along the way everyone stood dumbfounded looking at her.She looked like an angel.An angel from heaven who had descended on earth to bless them.

"what beauty!" a man exclaimed.

Arjun recognised the tinkling of her paayal.Saakshi came in followed by her helper girls.

Arjun who was facing the king turned around.

*silence*

He was frozen from the root.His hands were numb,his brain,his body everything.

"how can someone look so beautiful!" he thought.

Saakshi blushed looking at his behaviour..she moved forward.

Arjun moved towards her subconsciously..

They came face to face.

Saakshi smiled and greeted him.Arjun too nodded his head..he was too impressed to have words come out of his mouth.

He then came out of his trance and moved out.

"your highness i have to attend some soldiers..if u may.."arjun asked.

"ofcourse you can go..go do your duty"The king said happily.

"aap bohut pyaari lag rahi hain beti" the king said as he blessed saakshi on her head when saakshi bowed down to touch her father's feet.

Saakshi smiled in response.

She got up and looked back if he was there.He was gone.Ouch!
