Arjun was numb at the sudden shock he got. But soon……..he rushed out of his house. He started his car and drove like a maniac. Soon he reached in frnt of her house. Her father was also a business man.
He stopped his car in front of the gate…. The wachman asked him, 'Kisko chahiye?'
Arjun was not in his sences…..he was behaving like a …..like a mad man…. He replied, 'Ussi se milna chahta hu…..jiss ki shadi hone wali hai!'
Wacthman: oo….to apko bebi ji se milna hai? Rukiye, mai puchke aata hu.
Arjun litarelly shouted, 'I JUST WANT TO MEET HER………NOW!'
Another person came out of the house hearing some noise outside the gate. He was her uncle…..
Uncle: what's happening here? What's wrong?
Watchman: dekhiye na sir, iss admi to kisi baat hi nehi sunn raha hai…. Bas chilla raha hai ke unhe bebi ji se milna hai…
Uncle: beta, kya baat hai? Kyun milna hai tumhe use?
As I said before, Arjun was out of his sences, he shouted, 'Kyun ki ye shaadi nehi ho sakta….. wo kisi aur se shadi nehi kar sakti….. Wo sirf mera hai….mera hai…..'
Watchman to uncle, 'Sir, mujhe iss admi ka ya iss admi ka deemagi halatthik nehi hai, ya phir ye bebi ji ka koi paagal deewana hai….'
Uncle: hmm….
Then he looked towards Arjun & said, 'dekho beta, usski engagement ho chuki hai…..kuch din baad shadi hai. Tumhe dekh ke to lagta hai ke tum koi achche ghar ka ladka ho…. Jao yaha se, aur tamasha maat khada karo yaha….'
"mai uss se mile bagair yaha se kahi nehi jaa raha hu…..' came Arjun's determined voice.
Then uncle was sure that he was a kind of phsyco….. so he orderd the watchman, 'Gate bandh kar do…. Kissi bhi halat me iss ko ghusne maat dena…..'
So watchman closed the gate. But Arjun was determined. So he went near his car infrnt of the gate and sat on the bonnet of the car……waiting for her!!
All the while, she was standing near the window of her room…..and she saw all of these. She was numb…!
Her uncle thought that, after some time, he would go away frm there. But nope, he was not so easy to break so early. He kept waiting….waiting. it was almost evening. It was proved that, this matter was going to be serious….
This news already reachd inside the house & her parents were hell worried. Obviously, their daughter was soon going to be married…. At this state, this kind of situation would definitely make worried any daughter's parents.
She was still standing near the window, the whole day...…..looking at Him. Meanwhile, her mom enterd in her room.
'Ye saab kya hai beta? Kaun hai ye ladka? Tum pehchanti ho use?' but her mom didn't get any answr frm her. Caz……wait, she was crying….! Tear drops were flowing frm her eyes….
Her mom didn't ask her anything else. She went directly to her father.
'Maine kahi thin a, usse puchne ki koi zarurat nehi hai. Uss ladke ko nehi janti hamari bachchi, shadi ke aur kuch hi din bache hai. Iss waqt ye sab dekhkar wo shayad bohot ghabda gayi hai,, ro ro ke halad kharab ho gayi meri bachchi ka. Aap abhi, issi waqt kuch kijiye!' her mom also startd to cry.
Dad: dekho, mai Police bula to sakta hu, par uss ne abhi taak aisa kuch nehi kiya jiss ke liye hum uss ke police complain kar sakte hai. Aur waise bhi, aisa kuch karne se baat aur bigad sakte hai….. jo humari beti ke reputation ke liye thik nehi hoga iss waqt. Sabr rakho. Raat hone wala hai……aur shayad barish bhi hone wala hai… mujhe nehi lagta ye ladka aur rukega…
It was already night, and he was still outside of her gate…..waiting for her! Soon it started to rain cats and dogs…. Butnope, he didn't even moved an inch frm his place. He kept waiting for her in the heavy rain……
She was still standing near the window….looking at Him. Tear drops were flowing frm her eyes…..just like the rain drops!
She came out of her room and was walking towards the gate. Everyone present in the hall got shocked. Her mom was going to stop her. But her father stopped her mom.
He was now sitting on the road…..drenched in the rain water…fully. Suddenly he saw someone was coming towards him. Becaz of the heavy rain, at first, he couldn't get a clear view.
Soon, he saw the person was now very near to him. He looked at the person's face. He saw an angelic face….a lady who was also now drenched in water.
A lady………wait, who was she? She wasn't Roshni……..!!
He got the biggest shock…….nope, shock would be an understatement. He kept looking at her face, a face which was definitely unknown to him……practically,,, But, didn't know why, he felt that, the face was known to him… …frm ages!
He looked at her face…….rain drops were falling on her face. But he could feel that……..he didn't know how & frm where he got the feeling……..she was crying! Rain drops were mixing with her tear drops…..and wait, she was smiling in midst of tears…..dwelling a cute dimple!
He felt an urge to touch that dimple….!
Now she was extending her hand towards Him….to get up frm the road. As she wasn't Roshni, it was a fact that, Arjun shouldn't have hold her hand. But, he could see such some feelings reflecting in her eyes for him……which he always wanted to see in the one's eyes, who will also love him…..like he loved her. All the while, he thought that Roshni was the one…..but today, as if this unknown girl had proved him wrong!
And now, she was standing infrnt of him….extending her hand….to him! He didn't even know the name of the hand's owner…..!
But he extended his hand to held her hand………like a machine!!!
'Bass uss din jo usne thama Arjun ka haath……..aab taak nehi chodi, pura zindegi bhar ke liye jo tham kiya wo haath!'
Said the man and stopped.
Priya: Haaww……Roshni ke ghar se koi aur ladki kaise aa gayi?
Man: kyun ki wo Roshni kaghar tha hi nehi. Jiss ghar ke samne Arjun din bhar baitha tha, usske next ghar tha Roshni ke ghar!
Priya: waao dude, apne to badi interesting kahani likha…
Man: but, remember…..Truth is stranger than fiction beta…..
Priya: haan, wo to hai…
At that moment, the arrival of the flight was announced.
Priya: aare, flight aa gaya…..chal Jannat…..!
Man: tumhe nehi jana Jannat?
Jannat: ye kaisa kahani batyi apne, jo khatm hokar bhi jaise khatm nehi hua? Kuch batein abhi bhi adhurireh gaya..
Man: destiny didn't want Arjun to start any personal convowith Roshni, caz that kainda convo would lead Arjun to utter those words to Roshni, which was not meant for her. It was only meant for the true love of his life. Lekin Roshni to Arjun ka manzil kabhi thi hi nehi!
Aur haan, Rathod ka intuition sehi prove hua, lekin partially. Roshni ki marriage usske family walo ne nehi, usski marzi se tey hua tha….Razveer ke sath. Usske ankho me wo sab feelings tha jo Arjun khudke liye dhundhta tha. Par wo kabhi usske liye nehi tha, worajveer ke liye hi tha.
Jannat: jiss insane ne uss din Arjun ka hath thama, kya ussko Arjun ne apna sachchai bataya hai?
Man: 'Asal me wo uss ladki nehi jisse Arjun pyar karta hai'-----issiko tum wo sachchai bata rahi ho,right?
Jannat: yes.
Man: lekin jab taak Arjun ussko wo bata paate, tab tak ye baat jhut ho chukka tha. Kyun ke uss waqt, Arjun ne samajh liya tha, ke Riya hi usske manzil hai….aur hamesha se wo hi usska manzil tha. Shayad un dono ko milane ka bhagwan ne aise likha tha…
To wo jhut Arjun ussko kaise batata?
Jannat: ussne ek din me Arjun ko dekh ke hi apna mangni todke usske pas aa gayi…kyun?
Man: usski halat bhi kuch Arjun jaisa hi tha, wo hamesha se apne fianc ke ankho me khud ke liye pyar dhundhta phirti thi. Usse bhi har ladki ki tarha apni prince charming ke intezar tha, lekin wo kabhi usske fianc ke ankho me ussko nazar nehi aya. Jab ussne uss din Arjun o aise dekha, tab usse mehsus hua, e usski prince charming to wahi hai, jo ussko pane ke liye kissi bhi haadh taak ja sakte hai!
Jannat: Kya mai uss khush naseeb ladki ka naam jan sakta hu…apki kahani ka real heroin?
Man: RIYA MUKHERJEE……! After marriage, RIYA ARJUN RAWTE….!
After saying this, he started to leave. Jannat saw that, a middle aged women was walking towards him with a dimpled smile…..wait…that means..
Jannat: excuse me sir, can I know your name plz?
'Arjun……DIG Arjun Suriyakant Rawte.' Came the reply!
Jannat: yeah, truth is stranger then fiction indeed!
And saw that, the couple startd to walk with hand in hand…..which was the only thing they wanted to do till their last breath!!!
