He came out of the trance, when he heard someone calling his name. He placed the photo frame back in its place, and turned.
"Kisine bulaya..." he asked.
"Meine Rathore Sir..." said Liza, who was standing at a distance.
"Oh...khadi kyun ho, have a seat..." he said.
"It's ok Sir...woh mujhe kuch baat karni thi Sir.." she said.
"Haan bolo..." he replied calmly.
"Rathore Sir...kya mein kal ki leave le sakti hunn?" she asked.
"Haan...par tumne already next week 3 din ki chutti le rakhi hai Liza...if you don't mind...would you like to explain ki tum itni chutiyaan kyun le rahi ho? Sab theek hai na?" a concerned chief asked.
"Woh Sir...woh...woh next week meri...meri shaadi hai..." Liza replied.
And every single person present in the room was shocked. And specially Shree.
He didn't knew why he was feeling sad. He didn't love her. He hated her. Didn't he?
Suddenly,
"Wah! Shree Liza tum dono shaadi kar rahe ho aur humein bataya bhi nahi?" Sakshi spoke up.
Both of them looked at Sakshi.
"Nahi nahi...Shree is just my colleague and nothing else..." Liza said.
"And we thought that you guys are dating each other..." Riya said.
"Tu bhi kya Ri..." Shree said, and shook his head.
"Congrats! Par lagta hai koi humein invite karne ke mood mein nahi hai...par phir be...being extremely kamina's, hum khud hi apne aap ko invite kar lete hain...Sam tu chal raha hai na?" said Arjun.
"Khud hi toh bola ki being extremely kamina's...ab tera dost hunn...kamina just like you...toh off course...aaunga hi..." Sameer replied.
Liza just passed them a weak smile. And Sam granted her the leave. She walked out of the conference room, as Shree left behind her too.
"Liza..."
She turned and looked at Shree.
"Kya hai Shree?"
"Tum sach mein..."
"Haan, mein shaadi kar rahi hunn...uske liye I guess mujhe tumhari permission lene ki zarurat nahi hai!" she said and walked away, but Shree stood there, almost freezed at his place.
Suddenly, someone came from behind and patted his shoulder. It was Vaishali.
"Shree, woh codes chahiye..." she said.
But Shree was lost somewhere. She stood in front of him and waved both her hands in front of his eyes.
"Haan kya huya?" he asked her as he came out of the trance.
"Woh hacking codes chahiye...(after a few seconds) Sab theek hai na?" she asked.
"Hmm..." was his only reply.
Aasman tu mera...
Ya hai mera khuda...
Dekhta hunn jahaan...

Nearly 2-3 hours later,
Sam's cabin,
"Rathore Sir..." she said.
He lifted his face and noticed Riya.
"Haan Riya...any problem?" he asked her.
"Woh...Arjun Sir kahaan hai?" she asked.
"Arjun? Pata nahi...ik minute...(checks his phone for any msg from him) Oh yes! Woh Sakshi ke saath dinner pe gaya hai..." he replied.
"Acha? (after a few seconds) Sir, agar aapko problem na ho toh aap mujhe drop kar sakte hain aaj?" she asked.
"Haan Riya...ismein problem waali kya baat hai? Jab jaana hoga toh mein tumhein bata dunga and will drop you at your place..." he replied.
She flashed her dimpled smile, and walked out of his cabin.
Even though she was the one, who rarely got jealous of anything or anyone. But she always felt a bit jealous and insecure, when Sakshi was around Arjun.
An hour or so later, the chief had called it a day. Except for him, Aayesha and Riya, everyone had left. The trio took an ETF SUV, and drove to their places.
The ride was a silent one. But Sameer had some things to clarify. He wanted to talk to both Riya and Aayesha. But for now, talking to Riya was a much better option.
The SUV came to a sudden halt.
"Aayesha hum pahunch gaye..." Sam said.
She stepped out and bid the duo and left. Suddenly,
"Riya..."
"Yes Sir..."
"Aage aa kar baithogi please..."
She looked at Sameer confused.
"Kya huya Sir?" she asked.
"Kuch baat karni hai..." he replied.
Riya stepped out and sat on the passenger seat, next to Sam.
"Kahiye Sir..."
"You like Arjun...Don't you?" he asked her with a smile on his lips.
And she was looking at him shocked.
"Sir woh..."
"Riya, bahane banane se koi faayda nahi hoga..." he replied.
