A cool breeze flew from the open windows into a dimly lit room.. The only light that seemed to light the room was the one coming form the laptop.. It was a girl, her hair flying in all directions while she was busy staring at a photo frame kept in a distance...
A slight voice coming from beside her made her come out of her trance... She placed the laptop beside and turned towards the side... A child was sleeping beside her shivering coz of the cold breeze holding onto her saree's end so that she comes and protects him...
She slowly untangles her saree and hurries to close the window lest her child catches cold... She comes to the bed, closes the laptop has one last glance at the photo and then turns around engulfing the child in a hug, lovingly caressing the kids hair... After a few minutes she peeks up to see another child of hers sleeping in a blissful slumber.. She stretches herself and kisses the child's forehead... She pulls up the comforter for both the children...
Sleep was far away from her eyes.. She didnt feel at peace... She tried to engage herself in all possible works so that it would take a toll on her body and she would fall asleep but no avail... She knew he wouldnt be sleeping and had almost forbidden herslef from sleepin..
Riya.. Yes that was her.. Riya Arjun Suryakant Rawte... Wife of Super Cop ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte...Special Intelligence Bureau... Now the second in command in ETF.. Chief was ofcourse Sameer Damsingh Rathore...
And she was as well a member of the ETF... Now just a research specialist.. No, Arjun never asked her to do so. She had done so for the sake of her kids... As much as she loved field work and was a trained officer, she loved her kids and couldnt risk their lifes.. Ofcourse Arjun was busy.. He did managed to take some time for them.. But Riya knew very well how much time kids needed and she was more than happy to let of field work.. Ofcourse they were many more additions to the ETF family... Shree had got a partner in Ayush Khaterpal... Yea, the tech expert both nerds, curly hair and pakke yaar.. They would go on and on without any interruption.. More than teenagers in love...
Riya smiled at that... Shree and Ayush...
She was married to Arjun Suryakant Rawte.. Arranged.. Naah it was Love... She didnt know. Whateva it was just name sake... She was never his wife.. She never considered her one... Yea but he did believe she was the mother of his two kids... She hoped he did...
Was it her mistake that she fell in love with him?? Was it so wrong to fall in love at first sight??
She knew the circumstances were wrong but kambakht dil ko kaun samjhaye???
And hadnt she left quietly?? Did she do something to him regarding her feelings that he blamed her for his misery... She loved him selflessly.. She didnt want his happiness to be snatched away... Why would she???
She was happy coz he was happy... And yet deep down he blamed her for everything that happened... It hurt her.. Everynight while sleeping with the kids, she felt guilty that coz of her he had distanced himself from his kids...
Why?? The one question she asked herself everyday... She couldnt blame him, she would never blame destiny coz she was the one who took everything that came her way... She was rock solid did not mean she could bear everything... Chot lagti hain.. Dard mehsoss hota hain, dikhaya nahi jaata yeh alag baat hain...
Kaise lagi??? How are Riya and Arjun together?? Mystery, soon to be revealed... Please tell me what did u think about this... Update by tuesday if i get good comments...
