A yellow bulb was hanging trying to give light at least to the person sitting on Chair rather than whole room. The group of Officer was gathered around him.

He looked up and smirked at the Senior ACP Arjun Rawte. Arjun occupied the chair in front of him and put his loaded gun on the table then asked sternly

"Shinde lala Pathan kahan hai..."

Shinde smiled wickedly at him and spoke "Rawte shayed tune mera bayan theek se suna nahi tha mujhe nahi pata Lala Pathan kahan hai mein to kaafi mahino se Delhi mein tha..."

Arjun took his gun and started to analyze it then looked at him and called his Officer "Ram Singh...:" not moving eyes away from him.

The officer came forward "Yes Sir..."

All the other Officers smirked at the poor Shinde who was soon going to be busted by the ACP Arjun Suryakant Raute.

He was still staring at Shinde and spoke "Statment likho ke Simla Route par jitni bhi larkiyan gaib huyi un sab mein Shinde ka haath tha or wo apna jurm qubool kar chuka hai..."

Shinde's face turned pale as he heard that. The Officer replied to add fuel in fire "But Sir Delhi mein jahan ye rehta tha wahan ke logon ne is baat ki gawahi de hai ke ye wahan tha..."

Shinde sighed but still nervousness was visible on his face. Arjun smirked at him and spoke "Logon se jaake kaho unho ne kuch nahi dekha..."

The Officer replied with slight Smile "Yes Sir..."

As Shinde saw the Situation he screamed nervously "Nahi Raute tum aesa nahi kar sakte..."

While Arjun replied calmly "Abhi meri baat khatam nahi huyi..." He paused then stood up from chair took his gun and walked to him addressing his Officer "Ram Singh report bhi taiyyar karo ke Mujrim Shinde Police ke saath hathapayi karte waqt Police Encounter mein mara gaya..."

Ram Singh replied smugly "Yes Sir..."

Shinde was now trembling. Arjun sat on the table in front of him and spoke gravely "Lala Pathan ko to mein kahin se bhi dhoondh nikalun ga tum apna batao..." he again paused then brought his face close to him and added "Marna hai ya saza kaatni hai..."

Shinde was profusely sweating.He wiped the sweat from his forehead and tried to speak but his throat was dried out completely to see ACP Arjun so near to him that to holding gun. He gulped and managed to voice out "Mein...mein bata hoon..."

Arjun shrugged and moved back speaking "tumhare paas or koyi option hai bhi nahi Shinde..."

All officers passed a knowing look to each other.

Simla Seharan

Riya received a call from Shree early morning that he will reach Saharan soon. She asked Bibi about her plan and told her about Shree's arrival. Bibi told her that she was going to attend a function at "Aashiyana" and will return till evening. She can call her friend here and ask him to stay here till his holidays are there and have a good time. Riya thanked Bibi then prepared herself and went to receive Shree.

She stood at bus stop waiting for his arrival and after every five minutes checking her watch. At last her wish came true and bus arrived. Many passengers came out but he was no where to be seen.She moved towards the other side and saw him getting out of the other door.

He came outside put his bag on shoulder then looked forward for Riya. He turned his side and noticed a girl wearing shalwar,kameez along with a long stole waving at him. At first he ignored her but then he saw her calling his name so stared at her for a moment then realized she is Riya. "She looked do different in that avatar..." he thought and then without wasting a moment rushed to her.

Riya hugged him warmly by throwing her arms around him and holding tightly.He hugged her back whispering "Missed you so much...". After sometime they separated but still Shree was holding Riya's hand. He was to speak something but stop in the middle and observed Riya. There were faded marks on her neck and at observing her face he saw a light scar on the left side of face though it was light but was visible.His eyes travelled to her hands and there he saw some burned marks on it. Shree left Riya's hand and asked "Ye sab kiya huya hai Riya..."

Riya was expecting this question but not so soon. She tried to calm him "Kuch nahi huya tum chalo Bibi ke ghar pohanch kar baat karte hain..." but Shree didn't accepted he got furious at her "Kuch nahi huya" and hold her shoulders "Kiya matlab kuch nahi hua halat dekhi hai apni aesa lagta hai Simla ghoomne nahi balke hospital mein admitt hone aayi thi..." She put her hand on his mouth and gestured him to shut up then removed it and spoke "Jab tak hum ghar na pohanch jayen koyi sawal nahi hoga or jo kiya na to yahin se ek bas mein bitha ke wapas bhej dungi..." Her threat worked and he became Silent but again the restlessness took a toll on him and he tried to ask but Riya noticed it and put her finger on her lips "Ssshhh..." and he pouted.

They reached Bibi's home and she put her luggage in guest room and asked him to get refresh. Shree however was not agreed to it he was restless to know what happened but Riya ignored that and went to kitchen to bring some Refreshment. She returned with a tray in which Coffee and some snacks were present but as she reached at the Door she saw Shree pacing in the room. She entered and put the tray on the table. Shree saw her and strode towards her then hold her hand made her sit on the Sofa beside him and asked "Please Riya tell me ye sab kiya hua hai..." Before Riya could ask him to have some snacks or coffee he spoke annoyingly "Ab yeh mat kehna ke pehle Coffee pee lo phir snacks khalo phir Sojao kal baat karen gey..."

As he completed Riya excalimed "Tumhe kese pata mein yehi kehne wali thi...". Shree understood her mischief and glared at her to which Riya cutely hold and ears and said "Sorry...". He freed her ears and hold her hands pleading "Please Riya tell me..."

Riya was really touched by his gestures she slowly freed her hands and closed her eyes.It is so difficult to answer "What's wrong" when nothing is Right.She opened her eyes looked at him and spoke "Shree mein yahan simla visit karne nahi balke Arjun ko dhoondh ne aayi thi..." {She paused waiting for shree to question her but her gestured her to continue} She sighed and turned her face then stared at her hands and spoke

"Shree Arjun Sir left ETF may be everyone accepted the truth but I couldn't. Every night I use to Sleep with the fear of loosing him and wake up in tears.My heart was shattered into millions of pieces and every piece use to pain daily hurting me and my Soul, For me it was near to impossible to live without him and as I realized that he loved me too the fact gave me Strength to come here and find him... I tried my all tracks and came to know he is in Simla so that's why i came to Simla. I was habitual of him being always around me so couldn't resist my feelings..." She smiled lightly.

She didn't turned once to see Shree but She got up from Sofa and went to stand near window. She knew if she watched Shree she won't be able to share any part of her recent past with him. She spoke while staring at the sky "Shree I was aware that i will have to face the consequences but I never ever thought in my worse dream that so soon i will come across the vision of my death. I couldn't believe I'am still alive breathing..."

Riya asked Rathore to grant her some holidays and give her some break from work. Rathore understood her condition she was very disturbed by Arjun's sudden resignation so he granted her holidays.

At Bus Adda

Bus arrived and so the passenger relaxed themselves in Bus. Riya comforted her and rested her head with the back of seat when the person sitting next to her cleared his throat to grab her attention.

She opened her eyes and turned to see him. He would be forty plus fat person watching her intently and at her turning passed her a weird smile. She awkwardly smiled back and turned her face when man spoke "Ji aap Simla jaa rahi hain..." Riya felt irritation and thought to reply "Nahi America..." But that would be counted as un ethical behavior on her part so she sighed and replied calmly "Ji...". She was to close her eyes when he again disturbed her "Ji mein bhi wahin jaa raha hoon wese myself Rajiv Saigal..." with that he forwarded her hand but Riya inspite of Shaking hand joined her hand and said "Namaste mein Riya Mukherji..."

The ting of distress reflected on his face but he covered it soon and reciprocated her act "Namaste..."

For Riya he was so Barefaced person that despite of knowing she is getting irritated he kept on talking till they reached Simla. Riya got oout of bus and took a heavenly good sigh "At last I'am free..." but that man was really weird for her as before leaving he handed her his contact card and asked her to call whenever there is need. Riya took the card and put it in her Silver Clutch half heartedly.

She had already booked a room for her in hotel so didn't faced any kind of trouble of finding accommodation. She reached hotel and the first and last thing she did was to slip into her night dress and retire to bed.

Next Day

She decided to visit Jhaku Temple and from there she will start her search for Arjun. She didn't knew how will she find him yet she was confident that she will find him. She put on a suitable traditional attire that was Blue Chiffon Anarkali with Churidar. The frock was adorned with silver embroidery and beautiful silver border was covering her waist side. She took her phone in her hand and put her spare mobile that she even don't use in her Silver Clutch and attached it to her dress by the help of safety pin.

She arrived at Jhaku Temple. It was beautiful place and many monkeys were wandering there freely, She was afraid of monkey so kept herself at a suitable distance from them. She was having hundred of hopes inside her breathing. She stood at the stairs which lead to the door of Temple.

She sighed and took first step but it never landed on floor. Someone put the cloth on her face and something sharp as knife touched her neck. She didn't got time to protest and then what happened she didn't know just in a moment every thing went Dark.

She opened her eyes and found herself in a dark room lying on floor in such a way that her knees were hugging her body and her head was stiffed and sticked to the wall.. Her eyelids felt heavy she hardly held them open.She realized that she was present in a conjusted Room where there was lost of suffocation and she was surrounded by the heavier things.

She tried to get up by the help of her elbows but she moved ahead she felt herself dragged back. She pulled her wrist and heard a metal jingling. Her left wrist was handcuffed and it was attached with the wall. She pulled her wrist tightly to herself but nothing happened.

Her head and waist were badly paining as if she had an injury on them or they were wounded. By putting lots of effort she steadied herself a bit when a soft weight started to fall on her. She pushed it away and it rolled on the other side.

She turned her neck and with a reflex pain ran down her body making her wince.The wall was made up wood and there were light holes in it.As her eyes accepted the darkness around her vision became clear. She peeped from the small hole and saw there was water outside.She turned and her hand on the floor became wet. She picked her hand and tried to see what it was from hole but couldn't so she smelled it and as she smelled it her throat hitched. It was "Blood" she touched that soft weight and realized it was a girl and this was her blood. She hysterically wiped it with her frock when her hand touched the silver clutch on attached with her frock.

She thought she was kidnapped that's why they had snatched her phone but they didn't took the clutch because it was attached to the silver border on her waist and as both were of same color they wouldn't have seen it.

She immediately opened it. Her spare mobile fall from it. She picked the phone and touched the screen and it shined causing twitch in her eyes.She checked the contacts but the sad thing was there wasn't anyone's number as she remembered she deleted all contacts.She even didn't know when last time she recharged the account. She checked balance and came to know she can make just 25 seconds call to someone.

Her head was really paining she tried to remember anyone's number but couldn't remember in the panic. She touched the keypad closed her eyes and thought of Arjun. It was miracle that her fingers on it own accord dialed his number.

Unfortunately his phone was switched off. She huffed and rested her head with the wall. It was when she heard some people voices coming from outside.

Man 1: Kiya karna hai iska...

Man 2: Abhi gadi aane wali hai pehle to ise is port se shift karna hai...

Man 1: Agar chillai wagaira to hai bhi police wali...

Man 2:(spoke wickedly) Hum use chillane den tab na...

Riya was hearing all this and came to know she was in any port sort of place.She again checked the clutch and a card fell down from it. It was contact card of Mr.Saigal for Riya it was a silver line in dark clouds because she even couldn't remember the police contact number in such situation.With trembling hands she dialed his number.

On third bell a guy picked up the phone "Hello..." She spoke anxiously "Hello..Hello Mr.Saigal mein Riya..." her voice was trembling. The guy replied "Papa to bahar gaye hain..." Riya's heart sunk but still she emerge out from her hopelessness and spoke "Please Please Mr.Saigal se kahiye help me...I have being kidnapped...Help me out please..."

The guy became conscious and spoke "Aap bata sakti hain ap kahan hai koyi clue..." Riya gulped "Mein jhaku mandir gayi thi or abhi in logon ne mujhe kisi port mein rakha hai...kuch dair mein Shift karen gey...Please help me..."

The guy replied "Dekhiye mein police ko inform karta..." The call ended. Riya couldn't hear the further voice. She screamed "Hello..Hello..." but nothing happened. The phone fell down from her hand and tears streamed down her face.

The door opened and man came inside. She hid her phone inside her clutch that was still attached to frock. The man headed towards her then bend down and open the handcuff. He then grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the room mercilessly. Riya winced many times but he didn't paid heed to it.

He brought her into another room and tied her with the chair. Riya was protesting so he put a tape on her mouth. The room was big enough her chair was lying in front of the fire logs.She turned her neck and saw some steel rods head put on fire and were getting hot. Her chair was lying very near to the fire logs and the intensity of fire was burning her.She tried to push her chair backward but she was too weak for that.

Her long hair were lying on shoulder and some strands were stick to face due to sweat.Her throat dried out and body sweating profusely. The sweat beads slipped from her forehead to cheek then to chin.She was trying her level best to stay awake.

The door again opened and the man came inside.He came close to her and removed the tape. Riya gasped and saw him he bend down and brought his face close to her then wiped her face with his dirty hand and spoke wickedly "Miss Mukherji Naya naame chahiye..." Riya nodded in negative and spoke "Dekho mujhe chor do meri team ko pata chala to wo tumhen zinda nahi choren gey..." she spoke hiding her fear. The man smiled shamelessly and caught her hair "Chor doon tumhe aesi khoobsurat bala ko...Haye na jane kese sabar kar rakha hai par is khoobsurati ko humesha ke liye apne laiq bhi to bana na hai na..." Riya stomach filled with disgust seeing the lust in his eyes she in anger spitted on his face.

The man got hell angry and slapped her harder. Riya's mouth started bleeding.The man didn't stop but beat her till there was scar visible on her face.He huffed in anger when they heard the phone ringing. Riya got scared it was her phone ringing inside her clutch. The man noticed the clutch and snatched it tearing her frock. He took out mobile and broke it then caught her hair again "You called someone han..." She nodded in negative.

He then moved back and took the steel rod. Riya was half lifeless but as she saw him picking the rod. She sensed his intention and shrugged her head in negative screaming "No..." she was hysterically shrugging her head.The man came near her and brutally put the burning rod on her shoulder. Riya screamed her lungs out "No...No please..." but he wasn't listening. As the rod burned her body mass so her screams were getting louder. Some parts of rod touched her neck and hands burning them too.

He again took the other rod it was limit of cruelty but he pressed that too on her other shoulder burning her. Riya was protesting screaming loudly but he didn't stopped.

Riya's head hung on one side. She couldn't breathe, suffocated sobs were escaping from her mouth. Her life just revolved in front of her eyes. The way she lived her parents, Then arjun as they met his scolding than saving from truck, The moment she hugged him in washroom crying, He made her understand, then when they became friends, and the last when he gave her locket and kissed her forehead.

The room soon started filling with the smoke and the man threw her chair near fire logs.The last two things she saw before fainting was someone banging the head of that person with the wall hardly and the last fire that caught her frock.

Present

Tears were flowing continuously from her eyes she continued "Jab aankh khuli tab khud ko yahan paya mene...mein kese aayi kon laya kuch nahi pata..Par Shree ek ehsas hai jo jata nahi or wo ye ke mujhe yahan Arjun laaye unho ne hi mujhe bachaya..." She turned to see Shree who was just staring at her in shock.

She then saw him heading towards her and hugged her. Riya hugged him back she can understand her feelings now so also let her pain flow with the tears.

At Aashiyana

Bibi was standing and watching children playing after the function. She sat down on swing and remembered that she and Rizwan both use to sit here and plan there future, He use to hold her hand and she use to keep her head on his shoulder cherishing the beauty of moment.

Today she was alone but still she kept her hand on the other side hoping he would come and hold it.She felt his touch on her hand tough he wasn't there and tears flew down her face. She felt him hugging her to himself as if he wanted her not to cry and she cried more and hugged herself feeling him inside her.

Arjun sat on the chair and took out his wallet. He opened it and saw Roshni's picture inside it. He took out her picture kissed it and turned the picture as on the other side Riya's picture was there. He caressed her picture as if caressing her and kept it near his heart "It was Riya who again brought Roshni "Light" in his dark life..."

Then rested his head with the back of the chair and closed his eyes remembering her and all the lovely moments he spend with her and words escaped from his mouth "I love you Riya..."
