LOL.. I know, the title is so random!
But, Piracy is definitely a bad thing.
And it was proved yet again in Sunday's episode.. well, not that it was the direct cause.. but didn't it contribute to the crime along with Shambhu's greed??? 😉
Ouch.. the writers are making it tough for the new lead..! Please writers, it's a sincere request, keep her sensible! Yes, her accusations were baseless! How the hell was it Arjun's mistake, when he was doing his duty? Second thing, please mention her designation.. because she seems to be a little superior in position to Shree and Chotu.. or is it just her attitude? If it is her attitude.. then I'm going to talk about it after a few episodes.. because this is just the starting.
The writers are, maybe, trying to represent the audience through the members of the ETF team..:
1. Shree: Represents the set of audience who are comparing Riya and Ayesha and still haven't accepted her..
2. Chotu: Represents the set of audience who have accepted her for the sake of the show, like Chotu is working with her because it is his duty.
3. Arjun and Rathore: No question of comparing Riya and Ayesha. She is accepted and is a part of the team!
They should definitely be careful, as that might turn out to be a wrong move. Sheetal's entry hasn't gone well with many people and this is not the time to be experimenting.
Please, start with the transformation; solve the issues she might have with Shree and Chotu and let her role in the team be a pleasant one. I know the writers know better than me and her character sketch is different, but it's just my opinion. Make her brave and strong, but not haughty and egoistic. The character sometimes gives that feel. But, there's one thing.. I definitely love her character!
And about Arjun-Ayesha chemistry, there isn't any. We don't know yet, if she would be able to heal his broken heart or not, but right now, it appears like they don't give a damn about each other. It definitely ain't impressive. Because, even if she is to be paired with Arjun in future, please start laying the foundation right from now. Before it's too late and judgments are passed..
I'm ready to give that thing some time too.. but please don't let them seem completely indifferent to each other. That is plain suicide! I know, I know this was just the second episode.. but still..
Don't steal work from one character and give it to he other.. Ayesha seems to overshadow Shree and Chotu and that definitely wouldn't work with the audience!
But, I have a feeling the writers have something big in store for us, about Shree-Ayesha-Chotu bonding.. and I'm definitely looking forward to it! [:)]
The writers have to be careful with the portrayal of the new lead because Ayesha definitely ain't the hot favourite in the present scenario..!
Though there is something that I do not want to change:
I've edited the review specially to make sure people don't misunderstand my take on Ayesha.
She is the first female cop character on screen that seems to have the right mix of everything. She is perfect for her role. Her attitude is definitely cool and is an asset to her and I DO NOT want that change. It is the equations with different characters that I want to see a change in. I'm sure it would happen.. and I'm looking forward to it!
The case:
The case didn't impress me this time.. that definitely isn't because I had high expectations or something. It was a little 'pheeka' or maybe, bland.
Good Points:
1. The plot of the episode: The way the culprit was caught, starting with just a pair of tickets!
2. I liked how Ayesha adjusted with the team and is quite smart, when it comes to work.
3. The car driver was suspicious, but the reason for the crime was the question! At one point I felt it was Deshpande who killed Rastogi, but when Deshpande died, the culprit was confirmed. The way the reason was revealed; thanks to Arjun excellent skill of abservation.. was amazing!
Specially the fourth man taking the photograph thing.. superb!!! 👏
4. The beginning.. Arjun's desperation to find Sikender..! I somehow got a crazy idea yesterday while watching the Comissioner-Arjun convo.. What if the Commissioner is actually involved with Sikender? And he has transferred Arjun to ETF, to sideline him and deviate him from his goal i.e., searching for Sikender; in which he would definitely be successful, if he concentrated on it. This is just my crazy theory guys! Please don't kill me for saying it loud..! 😉
5. Last but not the least.. her name Ayesha! Loved it! 😃
The flaws:
1. I don't know.. the biggest draw back was that the episode couldn't somehow keep me hooked.
2. The story seemed disconnected at times.
3. The BG score sometimes felt awkward, but it's ok.. I know it takes a lot of hard work into making the episode, I choose to ignore it!
4. Not many complaints regarding the loopholes in the case because, I somehow couldn't spot any such glaring flaws.
Hmm.. all in all it was good episode! I'm looking forward to next week's episode. I hope the writers start working on the bonding issues in the team and Arjun-Ayesha chemistry. Like I said, before it's too late. And it is something I would be definitely be looking forward to in the next episode!
