CHAPTER 14:

Rathod was stuck in traffic jam. He was getting irritated. "dammit ye network ko bhi abhi jana tha'" he was not getting Shree's calls.

Arjun's home: 7 30 pm:

Arjun was ready to go for party. "yaar ye ladkiyan ithne time kyu lethe hai?" he turned and stopped in midway.

Riya was looking gorgeous in that blue gown. Hair on her shoulder, minimum make up, and a cute dimple smile. "ya kya pehna hai Riya? Hum case solve karne ja rahe hai. Party karne nahi"

"tho kya party mien suit, boot pehnke jaana hoga? Oh come on Arjun'aur aap ye kya pehna hai?" he was in a black shirt and black denim pant. "kyu acha nahi hai?"

"nahi. Balki bohot hot hai" he raised his eyebrows and she bit her tounge. "I mean' agar aap aise peeche gun leka party mien hoge tho bohot ajeeb hoga"

"tho kya karu?" she winked at him. "just a minute" she went to his room and returned back with a brown leather jacket. "how about this?" he took and wore it. He was dashing. "hm' tumhe kaafi jaankari hai mere dresses ke bare mien" she didn't want to answer it so they went to the vehicle.

Hell fire disco:

"sir ek minute, ye pehniye" she put forward a black shiny mask to him. "ab ye kya hai?"

"yaha pe aaj masquerade party chal raha hai. Tho aapko ye mask pehenna hoga." He wore it and she wore a blue mask that matched to her dress. She was about to get out of the car when he called back. "Riya' tum aaj bohot achi lag rahi ho" she was so happy. Though her face was covered, her smile and the shine in her eyes proved that she was really happy. "thanks'" she mouthed and they went into the disco.

They were observing everyone. But due to the mask worn by everyone, it was tough to find something suspicious. "Sir, mien iss tharaf dekthe hu, aur app uss tharaf dekhiye"

"nahi Riya. Something tells me ke yaha pe kuch bohot bure chal rahe hai. So don't go away. Stay with me" she loved the concern in his voice. Knowingly or unknowingly, she was getting a hint that some where deep inside he felt something for her. She was waiting for the day when all walls would break.

"lekin agar hum yaha ek drink ke bhi bine khade hoge tho ajeeb hi hoga na?"

"ok, tum yahi rukho, mien abhi aaya" he went to the drinks counter.

In a corner, someone was watching out for the girls in the disco. It was grazing on every female, until it stopped on a particular girl. Slender figure, long hai, blue gown' "wow' what a beauty. Kash wo mask nahi hothe" even with a mask he could feel that she was beautiful. Peter was watching him. "kya hua saab? Koi aaya hai nazar mien?" the boss didn't reply. So he followed his eyes. Peter saw her.

"are wah saab, aap ke choice ke koi muqabla hi nahi" the devilish smile was back. "tho saab, kisiko bheju uske paas, usse liptane keliye?"

"nahi Peter, isse mien dekhthe hai" the boss took a glass and moved slowly to her. Riya was unaware of all these.

He was so close to her, when a brown jacket man came in and gave her a drink. "dammit, iske saath koi hai. Koi baath nahi baby. See u soon' very soon'"

He came in their direction and crossed the path. While doing so, he hit the jacket man on his shoulder. The jacket man and the boss turned to each other. "sorry" he mouthed and went by. The jacket man nodded and turned and then froze.

Arjun had felt a small hit on his shoulder by a passing man. He turned to look at him. A white shirt man, with open hair, and a mask on face turned by. He mouthed a 'sorry' and went by. When Arjun turned to Riya, he was frozen. "those eyes' it looks familiar' he knew those eyes. The one which he would never forget' but who's?"

"kya hua Sir? Aap ithne pareshan kyu ho?" Arjun was disturbed. The headache was coming back.he was trying to remember those eyes. Those cold dark eyes. Yes, he knew it, but whos?

He turned and started following the way the other man took. Riya was confused. Arjun looked really worried. And above all he was not answering her questions. "Arjun Rukiye'" she kept calling and followed him. But he was moving away. He was searching someone. It was clear that he was irritated. He kept moving ahead and she followed him, calling his name.

Rathod:

He somehow reached a point where network was available. On the other side, Shree was constantly trying to call him was able to reach him now. "Sir aap hell fire mien math jaiye. Arjun sir aur Riya waha hai. I think both these cases are related."

"dammit. Call Riya and tell her to get out of there."

"I tried sir, par wo phone nahi utha rahe hai"

"ok, I am coming back"

ARIYA:

Arjun followed the man. But he was nowhere. He came out of the disco and moved towards their car. He was frustrated and slamed his hands on the car. Riya was rushing behind him. She was worried to see him so disturbed. She kept a hand on Arjun's shoulder. "kya hua? Aise pareshan kyu ho? Kisse dhund raha hai?"

He jerked off her hand and moved away from her. "Riya, just leave me alone"

"kyu? Baath kya hai? Please tell me"

"Riya, I need some time alone. Wo aadmi' I know him. Wahi ankhein, wahi attitude' I know him. Dammit' mujhe kuch yaad kyu nahi aaraha hai."

"relax Arjun'. relax' please ithna zor math kijiye." She tried to pacify him. He was getting angry. "Relax' kaise Riya? I felt like killing that man' aur mujhe ye nahi patha ke wo kaun hai? Aur mujhe ye kaya ho raha hai"

He turned to her and threw away the mask. The head ache was killing him. He held onto his head' and was losing control. Riya rushed to him and threw her mask. "Arjun, sambhalke'." He helped him to the passenger seat. And rushed around to get into the driving seat. Arjun was weak again. She gave him water and stroked his hair. "Relax Arjun' relax" he looked confused at her concern.

"Riya' please aaj yaha jo hua uske bare mien Rathod se math kehna. Warna usse ek aur wajah milenge mujhe iss case hatane keliye. Promise me."

"ok, I promise. Bas hume ab chalna chahiye. Hum kal office challenge. And no, ab aap sirf meri baath sunenge." She said when he tried to protest. He agreed. Yes he was tired and leaned back in the car, closing his eyes.

Few feats away from ARIYA's car:

The boss had walked out of the disco when he saw a man with the girl. He got into his car. And that was when he saw the same blue gown girl in the rear mirror. He adjusted the mirror. She was following the brown jacket man who was a bit angry. They were facing his mirror but he couldn't see the face due to the mask.

"hm'. Lagtha hai ke GF aur BF ke beech jhagda hua hai" he smiled wickedly.she placed a hand on the man's shoulder but he jerked it off and moved away, saying something. He couldn't hear them.

The man turned towards the girl. Now the boss could only see his back. The brown jacket man threw his mask. He was holding his head. Maybe because of headache. The girl rushed to him, throwing her mask. Now her face was visible. "wow'. What a beauty'. Pehle kyu nahi dekha isse? Don't worry jaan' now as I have seen u, ab tum iss pure duniye mien kahi bhi nahi chupenga'" the devil smiled.

She was supporting the man to the car abd rushed to the driving seat. After a while they drove in the opposite direction.

"bye' mere jaan' c u soon' very soon''" Sikander already had locked his next target. Now what he waitng for was his best chance.. yes he would wait' in fact she was worth waiting for'.
