Chapter 9

Arjun stared out of the window. he could'nt comphrehend what to think. For the first time he was stumped. He remembered sonia's words "u know I would love to agree with u but who knows how much secrets riya herself has been hiding? Like u said don't judge a book by its cover similarly I would say don't judge a person by how she behaves. We women have got a lot of secrets some which we hide from u and some which we hide even from ourselves." Liza came in and waited for her orders.

Arjun said " take the blood sample of Aryan and anoushka and see if it matches her dna. And as soon as you find out the first person you report is to me." Liza nodded her head and was going to go out when arjun said " liza?". Liza stopped.

Arjun : match their dna against mine also.

Liza: okay sir, but it will take a few hours.

Arj: make the results as quickly as possible liza.

Liza nodded and left. Arjun knew he had to concentrate on this case. He called shree and told him to keep digging on both of them. Shree nodded his head grimly and left. Arjun saw the pained expression on his face and understood that this news was as much difficult to digest for shree, chotu and sameer as it was for him. He went to sameer's cabin. Sameer stared out of the window lost in thoughts. Hearing the door open and sensing that it was arjun he said " what was written in the note rawte?". Arjun understood the reason and said " a name. I have already told shree to run it down."

Sameer: do I have to now drag the name out of you or u will tell?

Arjun: khushi kumara gupta singh raizada.

Sameer nodded his head and turned his attention outside the window. arjun turned to go when sameer said " I did'nt expect it to be her."

Arjun : I know. No one would have.

Sameer: how could she hide such a big thing from us?

Arjun: maybe because she did'nt trust us.

Sameer would have said further when liza entered. Liza saw nervously that she had interrupted something.

Sameer: yeah liza tell me?

Liza : sir,

Arjun: I think if this was said in front of the whole team it would be better. No point in keeping them in the dark about this.

Sameer nodded and called everyone to the conference hall. He then gestured to liza to tell while everyone listened with bated breath.

Liza: sir, dna reports says that arjun sir is the father of Aryan and anoushka. And?

Chotu: and?

Liza: what Aryan and anoushka says is true. Riya is their mother. She is the mother of Aryan and anoushka.
