hey guys, I know it is been a long time to update but I got caught up in reality and now that my exams are over I am finally free. so here is a short update, I will give a longer update later in the day and pm. and I am thinking of shifting this story to a blog and start a couple of new stories which will be a mix of some of my favourite couples. but enough of my bak-bak now and here is the update. hope you like it and please press the like button or comment.

Chapter 6b

Shocked would have been an understatement for arjun. He was'nt able to comphrehend that what he heard was just right. He looked at sameer who had by now collapsed into a chair and held his head in his hands. This sameer was not the acp and chief of etf but the one who had lost his best friend and made the other best friend his enemy. Sameer never felt this helpless except at that time when his best friend's life was snuffed out. he was in a rage and in that rage he took it out on the only person he knew was responsible for it or so he thought. But now he was even questioning that thought of his. But this news shook him to the core. For the first time in his life, he felt anger towards roshni. For the first time he was unable to think how to tell arjun this. he looked up to see arjun stare at him in rage.

Ar: what joke is this rathore? How can I be a father?

Sa: it is not a joke arjun. But the bitter reality.

Ar: I don't believe you. who told you?

Sa: karan.

Ar: and you are believeing him?

Sa: give me a reason of why should'nt i?

Ar: did you meet him before?

Sameer remained silent.

Ar:have you met him before?

Sa: no

Ar: then how can you believe him?

Sa: because he is roshni's brother.

There was enough shocks arjun thought he would receive in a single day.

Ar: sam, what the hell is going on? Are you saying roshni had a secret from me?

Sa: yes (in a dead voice)

Arjun collapsed on the chair and thought or not. He always felt that roshni shared everything with him. Even if she did hide something he was always able to catch her in the act. But this, this showed that roshni was'nt completely honest with him.

Sa: I knew that roshni had a brother but I felt that she will have told you so. When she did'nt I confronted her about it.

Flashback

Sa: rosh, you have'nt told arjun that you have a brother.

Roshni hung her head in shame.

Sa: rosh, he is your husband. He has the right to know about this.

Ro: I know he has the right to know. But I am helpless. Circumstances have forced me not to tell arjun about karan.

Sameer was going to say something further but by that time arjun came.

Flashback ends

Arjun looked towards the glass wall which is now shut by shutters. He was unable to comphrehend what to do now. Then his phone rang.

Ar:hello

Voice: hello acp

Chapter 6c

Ar: who is this?

Voice: oh right! Hoe stupid I am. How can you know me when we have'nt even met. But you do know me or you know my name.

Arjun became alert.

Ar: sonia.

So: ha, right acp. You do know me?

Ar: why have you called?

So: well I have to admit acp nothing escapes from your eyes. I mean who would have thought that you would have found a diary with my name on it.

Ar: seems like you are pretty confident about yourself.

So: I am. You see I love challenges. And you handsome are a challenge.

Ar: why have you called?

So: oh right! Thanks for reminding me the reason of calling. Since we are going to be engaged in future why don't we have a face -to-face interaction. I have seen you and you have'nt seen me that hardly seems fair. I mean chess only becomes fun when we are able to see our opponent. And also I don't want you to think that like villains in movies I will backstab you from behind.

Ar: honourable woman.

So: something like that. and just because I am woman that does'nt mean that I can't be honourable. Aurat ke kabiliyat par kabhi shak nahi karna chahiye acp.

Ar: when are we meeting?

So: we will meet today, we might meet tomorrow or we will meet maybe next week. Never trust when we will meet because time just goes by. Oops, right now I have to leave. You see your friend karan seems to have started to gain consciousness. And acp my phone's location also will be at the hospital.

Arjun looked at shree who nodded his head stunned.

So: until we meet next time acp.

And the phone cut. Etf team immediately rushed to the hospital where karan was admitted.

Precap: is karan okay and will arjun believe what sameer said. A new character and arjun's children.
