RanVeer OS: I love you more than my stethoscope!
Veer stepped inside the apartment which he and Rani had recently bought to escape the high voltage daily soap drama which used to happen in the Rajawat Mansion almost everyday.
"Rani, I am back! " He shouted and suddenly Rani appeared from the kitchen with a glass of water ofcourse.
He smiled seeing her and took the glass from her. While he drank the water, she looked intently at him to which raised his eyebrow in question.
"Doctor Sahab, I made noodles for you! "
Hearing that Veer choked on the last sip he was drinking and coughed a bit.
"Rani, you cooked? And where did you hurt yourself this time? " He asked remembering how she was this close to burnt herself down while she was just boiling the water and this tine she had made noodles which was no less than a miracle though the image of burnt noodles or noodles that were not so looking like noodles came into his head almost immediately.
"Doctor Sahab i am fine! Vikram helped me?" She assured which did oncreased his tension because Vikram and cooking should never be talked in the same paragraph let alone a line.
'I will talk to the secretary tomorrow the first thing in the morning and get Vikram banned from coming here without my adult supervision!' Veer thought and ran towards the kitchen to find it in a mess!
"Did World War 3 happened here? What did they even do? " He thought as he continued to look at the mess!
"I will clean the mess, Doctor Sahab! Don't worry! " Rani said coming from behind. Veer turned to look at her and nodded his head slightly.
"Okay but make sure Vikram helps you in that too or you will land yourself in trouble again! " He sternly said to which she nodded her head.
"Will you taste the noodles now or later?"
"Let me change and comback then i will taste it! " He answered with a small smile and went to his room.
"Taste it and tell how is it? " Shevasked when he came to the dining table and showed him the noodles which looked fine and edible to him at least far better than what he had imagined in his head.
"It looks nice! " He complimented it, sitting on his chair while she served him some.
'It feels like she emptied the whole bottle if red chilli powder in in! No wonder it looks so red and now turning my mouth in hellfire too!' He thought.
"How is it? " She asked as if her life depended on it.
"Am.. Amazing! " He stuttered as his tongue fell numb at the moment.
"Really? Let me try too then! " And before he could stop her from trying the noodles, she already took the bite and tears spilled out from her eyes as she tried to swallow it down her throat.
"Rani, who asked you to eat? Drink water! " He ordered her passing the glass of water which she immediately drank but still she could feel the burning sensation in her mouth and only one thing could stop it! Sweets!
So she ran towards the fridge followed by him.
He got another shock of his life seeing the fridge overfilled with all kind of sweets!
'Is she planning to open a sweet shop by collecting this much sweets? Or worst, is she smuggling them or something?' he thought while she took out a box of her favorite gulab jamun and ate sitting on the counter.
After almost 10 gulab jamuns she couldn't feel the chilli in her mouth so she put the lid of the box back and that's when she noticed him standing and looking at her in utter shock.
'Maybe he is shocked that i didn't even ask him! How rude Rani, he is your husband!' She thought.
"Doctor Sahab do you want it too? Here take some, you will feel better! " He reluctantly took one piece and ate it it slowly while she put the box back in the fridge.
"Rani, do you plan to own a sweet shop?"
"What? No Doctor Sahab! "
"Then what are all these sweets doing in my fridge? "
"Because Vikram brought them when he visited today and i will finish them all, in a month! Don't worry!" She informed.
'A ban for him is the only solution it seems!' He gluped down his anger and moved towards the bedroom.
Veer emerged out after changing his clothes and got collided with her. She was about to gall back on the flior when he managed to catch her on time.
"How do you manage to catch me everytime i fall? " She asked
"I manage it the same way you manage to fall everytime when i am around! " He teased her. She was about to retort back when they heard a click sound and they looked in that direction.
"A perfect picture for your bedroom bro!" Vikram said appearing from behind the curtains with a phone in his hand.
"Remind me to change the apartment locks as you have its spare key! " Veer threatened.
"And you think i won't be able to sneak in if you will change the locks? C'mon bro i am more talented then that! " Vikram said patting his own back making Veer look at him amused.
"Ofcourse you are as talented as a monkey Vikram! " Veer remarked
"What? Bro you can't say things like that in front of Bhabhisa! You voilated our bro code rule! " Vikram complained in a dramatic tone.
"Will you go out now Vikram or do you want sone other things to get voilated as well? " Veer said calmly.
"For example? " Vikram chirped to which Veer gave a meaningful look to him and a smirk too which was enough to scare him and make him run out of the house.
Meanwhile Veer and Rani chuckled at the crazy antic of Vikram and turned to look at each other.
"He is crazy and so are you! " He said with a genuine smile while she blushed.
He then hugged her as this was his personal escapade from the reality and all the problems he had in his life. Her hug did wonders to him and sometime it makes him wonder if she should start a hug therapy session for everyone but in the next moment he dropped the idea as it could mean men hugging her which he would not like and felt like burning every other person who was not him and tried stepping close to her let alone hugging her.
'When did i became so violent?' He sighed at his own thought as he knew that his possessiveness for her had made him this much violent.
"I love you doctor Sahab! " She whispered breaking his trance of thoughts.
"I love you too Rani, more than my stethoscope! " He added the last part to make her smile which he obviously succeeded in doing as he felt her chuckle while she hugged him tightly.
