He was asked to leave because of the lead character’s insecurity maybe, almost all the actors who have left the show suddenly have exposed her, some cameos like Sarita tai praising her won’t change the fact that she controls the show and story and gets everyone who acts better than her (which is almost everyone who left) thrown out of the show midway.

@Bold: Not just that. Before being dragged into this kachra circus called Anupama, Gaurav Khanna and Jaswir Kaur were brilliant as Inspector Kavin and Inspector Kajal in CID. Kajal even entered CID before Kavin. Both were strong, fearless, and independent investigators who hunted down criminals while fitting effortlessly with the legendary trio of ACP Pradyuman, Abhijeet, and Daya. Kavin especially became a massive fan favourite among the new-gen CID officers.

And then came Anupama. The makers here shamelessly butchered their legacy. As Anuj and Devika, both were reduced to brainless bhakts of Anupama. Anuj, introduced as a confident, self-made businessman, was turned into a spineless doormat—thanks to the writers’ obsession with glorifying Anupama at any cost. Devika, who was hyped as Anupama’s “best friend,” was degraded into a sidekick whose only job was to clap and cheer for Anupama, even during her worst blunders.

The truth is simple: the makers didn’t respect the talent they had. They only cared about whitewashing and elevating Anupama, even if it meant destroying once-powerful characters. From fearless cops in CID to shameless sidekicks in Anupama—what a disgraceful downfall scripted by the writers.
