After watching today's episode i again felt that this guy even with all his flaws is just a gem who deserves whole world unfortunately his world revolves around anupamaa

I wish anupmaa would actually realize what all she did wrong but alas we know dkp...

Also, what was that dialogue of maa k "koi safai dene ki zaroorat nahi apko " and that too after anuj had already given all his safai about their past and his reasons for getting married with shruti

Yeah even I feel bad for him as I’ve gone true something similar to this. Imagine being a simp to someone who doesn’t like you. It’s always the worst. The fact is that Anupamaa never belonged to him in the first place as she only belongs to Vanraj and Shameless Shahs. Anuj needs to realise that Anupamaa will never be his so that he can forget her and move on in life with someone who truly loves him for who he is. Simply simping over Upma will get him nowhere in life. He has already wasted 3 decades due to this and should stand his ground immediately before it’s too late. I’d rather he turn negative and show Upma the mirror for treating him like shit or he should marry Shruti, live happily with her and Aadhya and have a dignified exit.

He is marrying Shruti because of aadhya and didn't commit any realionship with her as he said he can only love unpaid maid but he is also committing the same mistake way anupama did with him

Anupamaa is too shallow of a character to understand anybody else apart from Shahs. Her love life, her udaans, her trying to be independent are all distractions for her, that she tries to build around herself, because Shahs would never truly accept her. I have now come to accept that she is incapable of thinking anything beyond them. Understanding Anuj and Adhya is a far off thing, she does not even remember them much. Even if she does they are the one who have given her pain. Unbelievably ignorant character. I agree he should move on, given that he has decided to get married, and that's what would be ethically right too, but I guess the reason he is not shown to be moving on is because loving Anupamaa is the sole USP of this character. At some point of time they will have to write off his character, as his character does a lot of damage to Anupamaa, as his presence exposes a her glaring hypocrisy. Since they are not an inch ready to elevate Anupamaa's character, his character might be needed to get finished. But then I guess the writers are unsure about him, given that he still has a connect. I wish to see him vanish from the show and then want to see the trajectory this show takes.. whether it still sails or nosedive into oblivion will be interesting to see.

Sorry to know about you facing something similar. It's heartbreaking and my heart breaks for anuj as he was ready to give her whole world oh wait he already did. Badle mai he just wanted anupamaa to love him and their daughter and give her time to them but her loyalty was always for shahs only

Word to everything you said anuj's character is the only thing which still makes me want to watch the show even with all his flaws he is so much better then everyone else

So true but i guess we can understand where he is coming from as his guilt for shruti and worry for his daughter is making him do what his heart doesn't want to do

Now had it been a sensible show it would have been possible to show him moving on with shruti as people do move on from their first love sometimes due to circumstances but since this is dkpverse we know it's not possible

Well sometimes people learn after getting their life ruined and sometimes they don’t learn till their last breath. Example: Refer to the story of a maid and her faithful puppy
