It was just my point of view of explaining what was actually shown in the show. You can have ur own view point of explaining whatever u wanted to say but can’t say this is the truth. Only makers know the truth lol. Even I know Anupamaa’s priority has always been the shah family first, it wasn’t like she went there to have fun with them every single time there was something or the other and none of them behaved like grownups and lived their own life. Kuch na kuch khand or some health issue or relationship fight and Anupamaa was forced to intervene and she can’t leave them like go to hell. Also not talking about the bas ko khichdi banake she went late to the dance show, but according to me, she was a mother of three and a dadi, not just normal children al three troublesome even Samar after marrying dimpy and somehow she has just been tied to her past which she couldn’t completely let go, whenever problem araised in the shah family she was like forced to go there and those times unfortunately she missed a lot of times she needs to be with choti. Shah family is not someone who is that understanding that the parents are divorced and their mom should move on with her life and let us take care of our lives on our own and they weren’t even letting her go they wanted her to solve al the problems. I guess if Anupamaa moved on with Anuj and CA there’s nothing else to show so the makers made this in itself as a main plot. Even pakhi ne khud itna badhkaya CA ko. This is what I feel.

And what happiness of adoptive parents? Anupama abandoned Anuj and ran away for 5 years. Anuj deserves way better. He can never be happy with such a disloyal woman, who first spent 90% of time with her ex and then when questioned abandoned him and ran away for 5 years.

How can people blame a 9 year old kid for hating someone who abandoned her and ran away is beyond me.

True but also Anuj himself isn't a loyal person. Look at what he's doing to Shruti right now. She deserves way better than a man who spends 90% of the time thinking about his ex!

Rajan Shahi plays this trick in his every show. But if he polishes the narrative such that it effectively captures human imperfections and complex relationship dynamics in the modern era, it can become a very interesting story.

But that will never happen! Never will Anupama reflect upon her mistakes and try to evolve! Never will Anuj stand in front of the mirror and question himself, "I accused Anupama of prioritising her past over me. But now I am doing the same thing with Shruti. I must either marry Shruti or end everything right away."

Instead we will be served needless leaps, family drama, all types of abuse, mistakes whitewashed as sacrifice, divorces, broken promises, extra marital affairs, disrespectful kids, professional failures, and multiple relationships.
