Thu thu thu

Today I saw koffee with Karan and there Alia was describing her daughter.. she said - my daughter is great, thu thu thu. 😂😂😂 I was so taken aback! Ye thu thu thu ka disease kaha kaha spread ho Gaya hai. 🤦🏻‍♀️. Until now I was not aware that this thu thu thu was actually a thing!

When I saw Alia’s thu thu thu first thing that came to my mind was Anupamaaa.

Infact it is a thing, I feel I have quite a kaali zubaan when it comes to myself, like the day I will say my nails are looking pretty they break, few days back I praised an anklet I was wearing and in the evening it broke i to pieces when I was just wiping my feet with a towel. So I also have this habit of doing thu thu thu whenever I praise something I like.

And I do this since many years, not learnt from the great Maa😂

Really! Same.. I was like ye gavaar anupama tak to theek tha.. but since when has it been acceptable to thu thu thu in interviews and stuff! 🤣

Thu thu thu is really just a desi version of touchwood or knock on wood so that we escape an evil eye. I dont follow it but I have seen people doing that all my life. Its not that someone is actually spitting. How is that difficult to understand and how is one acceptable and the other is called gavaar practice?
