"I bonded so much with several characters but the makers kept abruptly abandoning them when their use is over. So why should I invest my feelings and time in any of the new characters? Who knows when they will also be discarded and conveniently forgotten?

At least the makers should give the audience enough time to grieve the loss of a main character like Samar. It is a big letdown to see that his own family has moved on so quickly and easily when even the audience hasn't forgotten the tragedy."

I fully agree with her. If investing feelings in the characters brings only abrupt shock and disappointment, people will just stop watching the show. Character arcs should provide thought, show growth and bring satisfaction and closure. Otherwise they are just using the audience like they are using the characters.

Yes never invest in such shows especially the ones from Dkp. TamaShahi loves to play with the sentiments of the very audience who are integral to their success.

They just start with a facade of relatability and then show regression and perversion to levels never seen before. They are experts in creating couples which become popular and constantly torturing them for prolonged periods interspersed with one moment of togetherness in months.

When things don't work out, they randomly kill off characters. Heard that people are being bumped off left, right and center in the show that never ends and even here one good character was written out for no good reason.
